I was staying one night in Baxter to attend the races at BIR. This was a nice little hotel that covered the bases and was well taken care of. I had no issues with my stay, and everything seemed clean. I would definitely stay there again. Thanks much !!

The person that checked me in was super nice and very accommodating. I would stay there again if I was in that area. The room was clean and bed was made perfectly. Bed was not bad, but a little firm for my taste. AC worked good and overall the room was comfortable.

Looks like a lot of renovations were done - the bathroom had a new shower stall, toilet and vanity. The room was very clean and the staff very friendly. I will be back next time I am in the area!!

This is not a good property. Run down, not overly clean, lots of odd smells including cleaning agents and food. Messy lobby and front desk area. It is in a decent location, but I won't stay here again. Wished I could still cancel when I checked in, but it was too late.

This hotel is very basic and just ok. It is getting old and is showing wear and tear. The whole hotel needs new rug in all the rooms, hallways and stairs. My room was large and clean but looked old and cheap. The bed was comfortable, but the frame squeaked when I got in and out of it. The room TV was very large and had more channels than I could ever watch. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The free breakfast was the usual free breakfast at a hotel. If you need just a one night stay or if you really have a tight budget, this place is for you.

The room was spacious and clean, and the towels were fluffy. For the price, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the property overall. And the mattress gave me a good night's sleep.

Close to where my son lives in Brainerd. Good place for a reasonable price and they take small dogs.

We actually didn't stay. We left without even spending a minute in the room. There were biker gang people drinking on the property, it was dirty, and we didn't feel safe. Bad vibe. The hotel smelled and it was not clean. As I said, we didn't feel safe at all. We only booked the hotel based on the great ratings it got on Hotels.com but now I think those ratings were falsified. When I went back to read the reviews, there really wasn't anything described in writing - just people picking stars - so I have a suspicion that they were fabricated. Maybe we picked a bad night but I just want people to know that this is not anything like it was advertised or rated. WE LEFT IN A HURRY. We sent a message via Hotels.com to ask the hotel for a refund, since we didn't stay there, but, alas, no response. SHOCKER! No amount of money is worth our safety.

The staff was friendly and the parking was convenient. It was a bit pricey considering the rooms were very dated... musty smelling, sticky carpeting, and shower definitely needed some deep cleaning/fresh caulking. We were only there to sleep overnight and were gone early so it suited or needs. Would probably not stay again though.

In fairness we had a short stay! Only about 14hrs so I really didn’t have an opportunity to make a fair assessment of the property! The things that stuck out were the entire place had a terrible odor! When I returned home the odor was still in my clothing. Also needs updating in the rooms especially! The price was very high for the accommodations!

Front desk lady was was very rude was very tired from working all day and didn't want to drive 3 hours home she wasn't going to give me a room because when she asked for credit card i told i didn't have that card my wife made the reservation i said claim down I'm getting it she said i don't have to give you a room so i decided to keep mouth shut till i got some rest

The carpet needed to be cleaned. The bottom of our socks and feet were black.

Musty smell. Carpet was somehow sticky. Bed was spongy. Three crappy pillows. The room felt dirty in general. Very noisy, both in the building and in the clientele the place seems to attract. You can do better. I’d pass on this one.

The first morning they were having issues with the hot water. When I asked the front desk about it all they said was they had a plumber there to fix it. No apology or offer to take money off the price of the room. It was fixed for the following day
