Older hotel that needs updating, but clean and quiet and walking distance to the downtown area

As compared to others price was really good, Rooms very clean and updated. Breakfast offered is nothing more than cereal and pastries that were there the night before, only thing fresh was the coffee...no big deal as again price was good. Biggest complaint is they fixed the heat so it could not be adjusted past 71. When the cold of the night set in it wasn't enough. Walking up in the morning with a frozen face wasn't too good.

Check in went well, staff was super nice, friendly, helpful, room was clean, hotel could us some up grade, needs new windows, ours was concentrated, seal broke. Continental breakfast was not very good, just coffee, juice, bread, jelly, and stuff for cold cereal, little packages for oatmeal.

My wife an i had 3 different people walk in the room. An 3 different times. It was unsafe rented the ro to 4 different people an refused to refused me my money an told me to go to another hotel somewhere else

Quick overnight stay…comfortable bed Small refrigerator and microwave was unexpected touch. Convenient to restaurants Breakfast was a bit weak..cold cereals, apple and pancake machine

You could not walk into or out of this hotel without walking through heavy cigarette smoke. They did a nice job re-decorating the rooms but the mattresses in our room were difficult to sleep on. Also there was a bug in the sheets on one bed that made my 3 yo not want to be in the room.

Very tired hotel. As mentioned elsewhere, the continental breakfast was a joke...toast, pancakes, 2 types of cold cereal, little Debbie honey buns and apples. That's it for food. I was literally scared in the shower, it was cracking and groaning like i would fall through the floor. It is so loud for people below you, as i found out when the guy upstairs showered. Walls are paper thin, you can hear everything and the room doors automatically slam. Any renovations will just be a bandaid on what is clearly an ancient property.

Clean, comfortable and quiet. Only 2 towels and 2 washcloths in the room. No hand towels. Very old, felt very dated. But overall, not bad for just a bed on our way up north.

I would have been happier with outlets and nightstands on both sides of the bed and a light in the sink area. We were a lottle leary in the sgower as the top of was jit very secure when you were standing in it. Otherwise, our stay was enjoyable.

Overall a nice place, the room was clean, hallways, lobby, entrance clean. Through the night it was quite. The included breakfast has much to be desired and the small seating area was occupied by what seemed to be “regulars”. Some not wearing shoes. We skipped the breakfast and went to a Cracker Barrel a short drive away.

Nice staff, but the AC unit was so loud (and irregular/random in terms of the types of sounds coming out of it) that it had to be turned off to sleep. Simply getting into the room was difficult because the door and key card functioned poorly.

Property very dated. Breakfast all carbs!!! Toast pancakes, cereal. No eggs, yogurt, etc No hangers in the room… told staff I was running out of chairs to hang clothes on an got a shrug. Asked twice and no resolution. Lobby often empty if. I needed help. Cigarette butts all up and down the front walkway…tub made cracking noises when I used it…sure downstairs neighbors loved that. Maintenance and upgrading needed.!!!!!

It's close to Skyline Drive, which was my reason for staying. The hotel was clean. The breakfast could have had more stuff to eat but McDonalds was just down the street.

Clean, quiet, excellent service. Property is in need of basic maintenance. Shower rod hits me in the head, screen frame is bent, lav faucet difficult to operate, outside fascia trim fell off gable end. We took a look at the breakfast bar and went to Deb’s Pancake House just down the street. Excellent breakfast.
