Reception area is not ideal. I understand that there is construction going on but there is ample space from where they are where they could have set up the reception desk. It is a hazard. I almost tripped because of the curtains. Too much crowding and so little space to pass. The signs are also blocking what could have been space for movement. On the other hand, the rooms are new and very nicely decorated. Parking is ridiculously expensive.

we didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel, but there was a dj playin super loud music until midnight on Friday, nobody was around the patio where this DJ was playing I couldn't sleep b/c the music so loud. The building contruction offered very little sound control mitigation, we heard every other guest and their loud children bright and early each morning and late into the night. We did get an early checkin we sacrifices our king bed and view of the manhattan sky line in place of the back of the Hudson and hoboken, the 2 twin beds were not that comfortable, Can't give review of if the King would have been better. There was no complimentary coffee in lobby, there is only one option for any breakfast and the inclusion of breakfast with stay was unclear, so I don't even know if breakfast was included. The hotel was under construction so I imagine some of these issues are related to that, might want to mention that when booking. The rooms were cheap so I can't expect too much. I didn't get the chance to use the pool or the gym no review there. The front desk staff could use a few hospitality classes.

construction and no place to sit in lobby. Filthy in room and in corridors. Loud all night and room not as described. Grat location unfortunate ratty condition of facilities. Loud. Amenities in room nonexistent or malfunctioning.

The room was nice, clean and had a great view. We had no refrigerator in our room and the other rooms did. Also, the AC did not cool the room down at night. Overall, good experience.

Had two rooms. Both were clean and comfortable enough. One did not have a refrigerator. Neither were clean/ready upon arrival an hour after check in time. The time it took to get into at least one room for luggage took valuable time from our evening plans in NYC.

Arrived only to find out our room was canceled. Without being told. Then we were told there were NO rooms available anywhere in the area. Husband called hotels.com and they booked us AND billed us for a room 3 states away. Now we cant get our money back. I can't add a pic, because we didn't stay there.

Excellent option if you are thinking of visiting NYC. Conveniently located across from the Exchange Place station (Path). The hotel is clean, well maintained and has a clean saltwater swimming pool. The staff is friendly and responded fairly quickly to requests. There are plenty of good dining options near the hotel. We truly enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Regency and will come back!

Construction going on thru the day and loud music at night. Small size toiletries that is not enough for 2 people. Room was clean but lots of stains visible on couch, walls and bathroom. Maybe the room needs to put on the list next to be renovated. Originally booked this hotel because we had a great experience and stay the first time we visited. It looks like the hotel needs a refresh.

I wanted to especially thank Jasmine Henry for her assistance during our stay. Due to renovations on our floor we needed to change the rooms a few days into our stay. She made the process very simple and was I touch with us through the process. It was also kind of her to offer us 2 days of complimentary breakfast to make up for any inconvenience. I recommend this property due to its convenience to Manhattan since the PATH is steps from the hotel. We would definitely come back and stay on our next New York trip!

The stay was eventually ok, but the check in was terrible. We were kept hanging around the area from 3pm to eventually be told at 7pm we’d been bumped for the night with a terrible explanation that seemed to be changing each time we asked. We were transported to a nice near by hotel for one night, and brought back the next morning, and were comped breakfast for the rest of our stay. The restaurant staff were outstanding.

Stayed for the second time and once again we were downgraded from the room we payed for. They said they had no rooms left and gave us a lesser room claiming it had an NYC view which it didn't if you stood in the window and looked round the corner. I know from a previous visit it was one of the cheap rooms and they alluded to 3rd party websites don't get the good rooms. They gave us free breakfast which was ok but we didn't want breakfast, there are many places nearby. The hotel is tired with peeling wallpaper but very clean, has a pool and is great for transport connections. I would stay again but would book the cheapest room not the most expensive and sit outside taking in the amazing view.

Overall is okay but the front desk and all employees seem to be too cold and just don’t have any service mind. Came for check in, no greeting and just asked for an ID, told the room number and some rules and that was it. Stopped by again for checking out and again no greetings. Grabbed the keys and that was it.

Great location and beautiful view. However, you’re paying for the view because the hotel room was not the best for the price. There was black mold in the closet and the bathroom toilet was damaged. There was also construction being done in the room above us that made for an unpleasant morning.

The room we got had a broken sink - water would not drain. The next day elevators stop working - had to use stairs. The unit we got was showing its age The location is perfect with the Path subway next to it. It was a 10 min ride to World Trade Center station - one stop Hotel staff was friendly and helpful

This hotel is situated at a one of a kind location! It’s a pretty cool feeling to stay above the Hudson. The unique view towards the skyline of South Manhattan is magnificent! Nevertheless the kindness and the polite support of the team members at the reception and also the housekeeping employees are remarkable‼️

The front desk failed to mention during check in that there would be construction happening during our stay. Overall the customer service was not great and when we checked out, the front desk even failed to ask how was our stay. Our morning there was not enjoyable nor did we get rest due to the un communicated construction

The hotel location was excellent near the path to go to manhattan. The hotel was good but a little Reno on washrooms and hallways required. The rooms were spacious and good and clean. Overall I recommend this hotel
