The 1 bedroom apartment we stayed inhad a very loud fan/motor noise humming all night, continuously. Very hard to sleep with the noise. The light in the bathroom was dismal, very dark. A number of the light fittings did not work. Very average place.

Double charged for carparking. Charged day in and then charged again on day left. When I called up and complained, they identified and confirmed that incorrectly charged but said 2 weeks to get refund. That is unacceptable. They instant charge at check-in, can instant reverse or at minimum next day deposit, no excuses. I stayed there a week, had to lodge many days in a row issues, did not get fixed. There lots of things broken TV unwatchable (TV pixel tube had gone - the screen was a mush of nothing), no plug for kitchen sink to wash dishes and there is no dishwasher, no scrubber sponge for dishes (ask for one, housekeeper never delivered), light bulbs out in bathroom it was dark. Call reception let know issues, no one picks up. Multiple days asking, no one arrives or sorts out, so stopped asking.

Rather dated but it’s close to the parramatta train station. 2nights of no hot water despite being told it was fixed. Noisy air conditioning.

Only 1 out of 3 lifts working so a wait every time you needed it. Location not great next to a busy road and train station. Room pretty old. Staff were nice though.

What is not to like about the Mantra Parramatta. It is a very short working distance to the trains and busses. A short walk to Parramatta Westfield shopping complex. The motel itself is clean and comfortable, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely return.

Great location. We went to a game at Olympic Park. Used the train. Very convenient. Shopping centre and buses were close to the hotel. Able to park the car at the hotel and use public transport. Very pleased with how it worked.

Hallway carpet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for a while. Big dark stains as soon as the lift opened. We used in-house dining Friday, left the empty the tray outside our room and was still there on departure. We beloved housekeeping was being done but nothing in our room cleaned or chss as need.

Property is old, not maintained well, rooms are in average condition. Climate control in the room does not work. Did not explore surrounding area.

Charging high prices but not giving the good quality service. It was outdated bathroom, yellow colour bathroom ( shower was in the bath tub), heating duct was terrible, seemed like never being serviced, too noisy, there were finger prints on the kitchen cupboard, linens were yellow. Not worth the money.

Liked the closeness to Westfield Shopping Mall. Didn’t like no fresh bath towels for a 4 night stay. We had to request fresh towels after 2 days. Suggest at least change bath towels every 2 days.

Close to trains, coffee shops and Westfield mall. Nice and quiet place. Building is pretty old though and some renovations are required. But value for money.

Very clean place, no heating, receptionist on arrival went on like a robot, I had to ask him to repeat what he said because I was filling out the form when he kept on going what he was saying. The restaurant was undergoing renovations which was not mentioned during the booking or even afterwards, only breakfast was available

Liked - Friendly and helpful staff, Location near Westfied Paramatta, the Station and CommBank Stadium. Dislikes - No FOXTEL which you would have thought at the price charged would have been available. Only one working Guest Laundry with a broken light.

Close to train station and Westfield. Clean, tidy and needs a renovation of hallways and rooms to fresh it up. Stayed one night. Reception person was not very friendly or helpful. The person was not very interested and looked like they did not enjoy their job or was having a hard day.

Mantra Parramatta is a good and convenient place to stay very close to everything I always stay at Novotels but this time I gave a go to Mantra. I booked using my account but because I have to work from 7am to 7pm I put the booking under my wife name so she can check in early, after finishing work I meet my wife and gave he key card and we agree to meet for dinner so I can have a shower and leave my heavy bag at the hotel in the meant time she will look for a nice place for dinner after a long day and week, went to take the lift the key card did not work, went to the reception and with a rude manner the receptionist told me that she can't activate or check my key card because is under my wife's name the booking which I found reasonable, but what I found professional is the fact that she told me in the rude manner told me that I have to bring my wife so she can confirm that I am who claiming I am also at that moment a security guard moved close behind me, I went to look for my wife and she told me tell the receptionist to call me so I went back and she told me to call from my phone because abiously it was my account, my wife confirmed but my night and mood was already negative. I think it lacks of good customer service and people on the reception specially that lady that served me neds to trained to be more open minded and smart looks like the area around is not secure as you dont have a security guard at a regular hotel, desapointed yes very much
