I had a wonderful stay as usual! I love staying here because it reminds me of when my wife and I lived on our boat.
Great place!❤️❤️

I put 4 people when I booked, am assuming they will provide 4 towels. But the bathroom only has 2 bath towels. But thankfully there were hand towels and face towels.

Paper thin walls. We could hear the very loud neighboring room .

I enjoyed the hotel. The inside of the room was outstanding. The bed was comfortable and the view was good. It was very clean and it did not smell like perfumes. The front door stuck and needed an extra push to open. I believe it was the paint but adjusting the door would correct that. The pool was closed and they were working on rooms in the other building. The lobby was clean. It was hard to get to the hotel because it is not too close to the freeway but it's worth it.

I had a great stay in Alameda and short distance to Car Rental Center Oakland Airport. My only issue was that the guest staying in room behide room124 with shared door was playing music too early in morning and the pool was not in use.

Very helpful and accommodating staff at the front desk.

It was a nice comfortable hotel that had a wonderful view of the marina and the Oakland yacht club had a nice walking path that was open to the public went around the water. I was a very quiet area and safe

The location is great. It's right on the estuary, with a harbor full of boats outside your door. The parking lot is large and has plenty of parking. There are walking trails along the water. The ongoing renovations were not a disruption. The recently renovated room I stayed in was clean and nicely done. It's a great price for a short stay in a good location.

Brand spanking new. Right on the water in Alameda. Good value for the price. Helpful and friendly staff. Free washer and dryer something I have never seen before. Free parking

Was a nice, quiet hotel right on the water. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway and want to stay in the Bay Area without paying a super high amount, I’d recommend this place.

Both of the front desk guys were awesome. This is a small, rustic property directly on the marina. Great for walking. Marina and lovely city views in background. Awesome views if you have a room facing the water. I would NOT stay in a room without a balcony or patio. The property is under construction and pool is closed. Will be even better once finished.

A nice property that is currently under renovation. We stayed in two rooms, and the second was much nicer than the first. There is not much sound isolation between rooms, which can be taxing. The TV system with Dish remotes doesn’t work very well, and is often difficult to change the channels. Incredible bite of the water and the Oakland skyline.

No pool, need chairs in out side common.

Lobby staffed 24/7. Amazing/superb customer service. RIoms were nice and quiet. I would recommend bed headboard to be spaced between wall to prevent noise from other rooms/guests while moving on bed. Other than that, best place to sleep and have a staycation around Alameda.

The reason I rated this low as almost terrible was due to being waken up at 3 Freaggin AM by the people upstairs. They were banging and moving furniture. Sounded like someone was bouncing a basketball. I called the Front desk twice and it took 30
Mins for it to finally stop. If u ever stay here, do yourself a favor, DO NOT stay on the first floor. Not unless u want to don’t enjoy a good nights rest. Everything else was great. Location, room clean, attentive staff.

Shower slippery, towels and sheets cheap and rough, headboard slaps wall

Great location however no toiletries, wifi was only good in lobby. But newly painted and great to be able to take ferry into San Francisco. Just budget friendly. Oh and towels were pretty bad

View of marina made this room worth it. Everything else was bare. No breakfast or coffee/water in the lobby. Front desk agent was short with me as if I was an inconvenience.
Rooms could use a renovation. Bathroom was nice and clean.

Staff is great! Just a simple basic hotel. Beds aren’t that comfortable but staff makes up for it!

Marina Village Inn is a property built circa 1960. Surrounded by centenarian yaught clubs and a high-rise luxury condo, it over looks a small sail-craft marina. The pool looks like it has been decomissioned since the Obama administration, and given water problems in Ca, will probably nemain so. My second and top floor room was airy and sparkling clean, albeit scarcely renovated since construction. Single pane picture window opens and lets in light and sea breezes. Mattress was firm, the linens fresh and soft, and the full size desk had a sturdy office chair. There was some noise in the bath from an adjoining room, but I did not noticed it from the bed. A remarkable room for the price : I will trade light, a window that opens,, and a desk one can actually work on for modern amenities every day of the week. The friendly 24 hour desk actually answers the phone when it rings and I enjoyed talking with the employees who were kind and helpful.

Couldn't get staff to clean the room. Had to go down and beg for towels, shampoo, coffee, blankets on 3 of four days. The rooms don't appear to have been renovated in the last fifty years. And I know because I stayed there 47 years ago.

It was ok for a quick stop for the night. Beautiful view. Beds very old and noisy.

My second time here and coming again was based on a great first experience BUT clearly there are different types of rooms. First time I had two double bed with “hardwood floors” and very modern marble bathroom. This time I had a single queen room…dirty dirty carpet, torn curtain that was stitched back together, all furniture had seen better days, the flat sheet was so pill-y (those little balls that form on fabric or sweaters) that I sleep with my pants on as it was irritating/scratchy to my legs, spots of black mold inside the shower. Honestly I have stayed in cheaper hotels that were better and this price was cheap.
Upsides…pillows are comfy, has a mini fridge and the staff is very nice.

Stayed here a couple of times now, definitely not a fancy place but has a great view, comfy bed and good shower pressure! Everyone i encountered at the front desk has always been friendly and helpful.

They gave us the key to the room and other people opened, what a shame and I opened it and everything was occupied
