This is the perfect place to stay for a quick weekend at universal studios. It was clean, staff was excellent, parking on well lit lot and a short walk to universal studios shuttle. Lots of food options in walking distance too! Over all great experience

If you are seeking a hotel in close proximity to Universal Studios, this hotel will meet your requirements. It is indeed within walking distance, approximately a 5-minute walk across two busy roads, where you can board the shuttle bus. While it is possible to walk to the studios themselves, it is worth noting that the route involves an uphill climb, the shuttle buses operate frequently Now, regarding the hotel itself, the initial impression may be somewhat dated and perhaps slightly unsettling due to its location on a busy main road. The car park is notably small, and the reception area is secured, requiring guests to be buzzed in. Additionally, there is an extra tax per night that may not have been previously communicated, and a substantial amount of paperwork to complete upon check-in. It is also important to be aware of the unusual rule that guests will be charged if blood is found on the bedsheets. The hotel room itself was to be the smallest we've encountered during our numerous road trips to America. The initial impression of the decor may be somewhat depressing, and the bedroom furniture appears well-worn. The table next to the bed poses a safety hazard, and the bathroom is quite compact, lacking adequate storage space On a positive note, the room was clean, the cleaning staff try to make it a pleasant environment for guests. However, what wasnt mentioned was the noise from the traffic which did keep us awake.

Only stayed overnight. Basically used it to sleep and shower. The front desk employees were some of the nicest people I’ve met. Love the classic Hollywood look of the outside. Also there is a nice donut place next door, which was a bonus!

It was great walking distance to the shuttle for Universal Studios Hollywood. The room is decent, the pictures on website make it seem more modern than what it actually is its out dated. We had issues with the toilet every day my husband became our plumber. The things you have to settle for due to LA prices.

I was very pleased with my stay at the Nite Inn. The room was simple, clean and comfortable. The parking lot is small, but well-lit and secure. The location is excellent. It is right off the 101 and not far from a Ralph's, a Walgreens, and many other stores and services. Not only is it "walking distance to Universal Studios," it is walking distance to the Metro Station. You can buy a metro pass, load it with funds, then easily travel throughout the city, no driving necessary. Also, the Nite Inn is walking distance from the Baked Potato Jazz Club, where you can relax and enjoy live music every night.

wow wow wow! I would book this place again and again. The staff was welcoming and amazing. The room was clean and smelled good. the room had new paint and looks like they keep up on it. No need for Starbucks in the morning the lobby has a wonderful little machine that's makes specialty drinks and they even had pastries. Free parking!!! Oh and the shuttle to go to Universal Studios theme park was like not even a 5 min walk from the hotel. I was just so impressed and can't wait to come back!

It’s very convenient to U. Studio with the free shuttle taking you there and the metro. It’s also only 7 mins walking to Ralph’s. The manager is friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back again.

Parking was a nightmare. Spaces were very narrow, to the point where you could easily be blocked from getting into your vehicle. There were times where there was simply no open spaces to park. Room was fine for what it was but this is definitely not a luxury property.

The parking is terrible. Bath towels are like using a little bath mat. There are some shady characters sleeping right outside the hotel day and night. For the SAME cost I should definitely have taken my family to the Hilton or Sheraton (actual walking distance) to the park.

The room is very small with limited power outlet. There is no coffee machine in the room and although they say "reception is 24/7", the lady did not allow me to get inside to get a coffee. She said I could only get coffee during their refreshments hour. The walking distance is the only reason to stay here.

The hotel has everything that is needed, just enough space (traveling with 5 people), and the service is great. The lobbyist was very friendly and even did us the favor of printing out our tickets! The location is pretty close to Universal Studios and other things like restaurants and convenience stores.

I did like how close it was to the shuttle for universal studios. The parking was very limited and close together. Would not work for full size vehicles. The room was clean but very simple. It worked for us as we just needed a place to sleep at night.

We loved staying here for our stay. Everything went perfectly and we had such an easy time parking and taking the shuttle to USH. The staff were very understanding and feeindly with my neurodivergent kiddo. The deposit coming back into my account was confusing as there is no account of it either being put on hold or put back but that is probably more the bank systems fault then the hotel. We will for sure be back any time we take a trip to USH.
