Beautiful property, friendly staff and great customer service. Very accommodating when holding luggage and letting us stay in our room until our flight.

What a gorgeous spot! It’s a little out of the way, and has a private beach right on the property. Everyone is so lovely and warm and kind. They made it so easy to hire a driver to take us exploring and we had super nice guides. We played dominos one afternoon at the Monkey Bar with the bartender. There’s wildlife and two cats. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed. I was surprised at the open air bathroom, which did mean mosquitos. The gym is not sufficiently air conditioned but has water and towels. Our room was at the top of the hill: incredible views but so, so many stairs! The restaurant makes delicious food. Just remember you’re on island time.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and how I wished we had stayed longer. Beautiful hotel! Everyone was very nice. The place was calm and serene. We enjoyed our stay and definitely coming back!

The Beach was spectacular better than expected also snorkeling was good. Very laidback atmosphere. The fitness room was also very well laid out for morning workouts. The dining was also very nice. No complaints whatsoever. Our flights were delayed going so we lost a day If I ever went back, I would stay over in Miami so that I know we could make it on time. there is only one American flight there a day out of Miami. Jet Blue is out of NYC. We will plan better next trip.

Laluna is a slice of heaven! We had the pleasure of staying in Room 10 for six nights in December 2022, during our Honeymoon. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The staff are so personable and engaging , truly caring about our experience. The restaurant delivered on its promise of delicious Italian dishes. And the location is second to none. Thank you to everyone at La Luna for helping make our Honeymoon perfect !

Nice hotel if you like a more nature feel. But luxury is definitely in my description. Cold water in the shower and definitely much privacy if you're in the bathroom and people are walking by. They have a small pool that can only fit two, which isn't bad, but for tge money you're paying a night, it should of been a jacuzzi or at least heated. The best part of our stay was the staff, they were amazing.
Think they can give you more for a $500 a nigh luxury hotel, only a complimentary water and have to pay for a can soda.
Need more US plug in and i had to go all the way to the office just to iron my clothes for dinner ( there're alot of stairs)

Wonderful location, unpredictable service and facilities.
Laluna is situated on its own secluded beach, with just a few perfectly isolated villas dotted up the hillside. It really is a perfect setting for a peaceful holiday. Lovely spacious villas, each with their own large balcony and plunge pool.
However, the resort just didn't seem to be that ready for guests. The spa was closed - and never opened while we there, unless you booked someone from another hotel to come over. We'd asked for a beach view villa, but were initially led to a garden view villa - having travelled for a good 10 hours, we then had to wait for 2 hours to be moved to the right villa. Some things just didn't work - the TV seemed to work only with a remote control held by the hotel maintenance department, the hot water wasn't switched on until we asked why it was so cold, a jamming door was fixed, but jammed again within a day.
All of which might well be early season issues. That said, there seemed to be a penny-pinching philosophy to the resort - fresh fruit drinks of the day were watered down, if you asked for a soft drink, whatever was left in the can was put into the fridge (unless you asked for the whole can), and your limit in terms of drinking water was too small bottles a day, after which it was $5 for a 2 litre bottle. And the service was pretty variable - some of the staff were truly lovely, some surprisingly rude.
So, a mixed experience, albeit in an idyllic setting!

Loved the villa layout, nice jump pool. View is great and really quiet and relaxing. If you have neighbors you might hear them which can be somewhat of an issue.

If you are looking for a boutique hotel with amazing views, food and service then this is your place. Yoga studio on the beach, spa on sight, restaurant and bar beachside, non motorized water sports. Definitely a place to chill and relax.

The property was a gorgeous retreat - a place to unwind and appreciate your loved one and nature. Very romantic and the staff goes out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay.
We found the dining options a little limiting, although the food was delicious. We enjoyed ourselves at the resort so much, that we didn't venture out much which meant eating the same meals for most of our visit. It would have been nice if there was a little more variety.

This is our 3rd stay at Laluna. The staff is friendly and very responsive to the needs of their guests. The housekeeping staff was thorough in their cleaning and replenishment of towels, toiletries, and room bar. They were also very respectful of our privacy. All in all, our experience has been very positive. Laluna will always be our first choice in Grenada.

Absolutely beautiful, peaceful, romantic setting. The hotel is set in a hillside, so views from the rooms are amazing; and the plunge pool in each room makes it even more enjoyable. The beach is in a small cove, so there are very few people that happen by who are not staying at the hotel. The food is spectacular, albeit it a bit pricey.

Laluna is a beautiful resort. This was our second time staying. I would recommend it for a special getaway for a couple. The beach is private (all beaches in Grenada are public, but there is minimal access and no other accomodations or restaurants on the beach, so you have very few non-resort persons on the beach). The water is calm. The view of the cove is tranquil and beautiful. The resort is small so there is more than ample seating at the beach. The pool is small but nice, and you have an ocean view sitting in it. There is a nice bar area with seating looking out at the ocean. The restaurant is superb; we looked forward to eating there, not just for convenience. The rooms are set on a hill above the ocean in 2 tiers, so you do need to walk some steps (or get a lift in one of the golf carts to the top) but it affords a beautiful view from your private porch and plunge pool, which is amazing in the evenings. The rooms are a good size, comfortable and in a Balinese style so very tranquil. The bathrooms are pseudo-outdoors; open air but will walls and roof. Staff is friendly and helpful and the place is kept immaculate. Only about a 10-15 minute drive from the airport, or to the local town.

Trina made us feel welcome from the minute we stepped on the property!! All of the staff was happy and welcoming!

The staff were great, very friendly and professional. It’s a really unique place. Very idyllic, your dream
Island property with attentive staff.
While I liked a lot about the outdoor/indoor bathroom ( great view while showering) it attracts a lot of bugs and we got many bites. I transferred to another hotel after a few days which is nothing as unique. I was sorry to leave this special place and great staff and trade it for a more typical property with less helpful staff but I couldn’t deal with the bugs any more.
But am so glad to have spent a few days there.

Fantastic location on the beach and great staff. Wonderful place to relax without distractions and yet great service.

La Luna a resort that dreams are made of. We were in cottage 14 on top of the hill and the view was jaw dropping (yes, worth the walk up). The out door shower and bathroom was a perfect touch. The room was kept beautifully by staff. As for the beach, portici has the best sunsets on the island. Great to walk, swim, snorkel and just soak up the sun. The restaurant and bar are perfect as well.

Excellent weeks stay. All staff really helpful. Exceptional - can't wait to return!

Laluna is located in a small bay with no other hotels/resorts, hence providing peace, exclusivity in a natural preserve. The natural beauty as well as the created beauty and location of the restaurant makes it a destination for weddings, honeymooners and birthdays/anniversaries. Service and attention to detail was simply pleasing. Spa and selection of spa services just classy

Our experience was great right from the start. We were greeted from the taxi and our bags taken to our room. Throughout our stay the hotel staff were discrete and did not crowd us, but the moment we needed anything they were there. The cleaners too were excellent and worked around us, cleaning whenever we were out.
The hotel room was very comfortable and discrete - our apartment was not overlooked and my wife was able to sunbathe on the veranda in private. However, for a few days the builders had to rebuild the roof on a nearby apartment so it was noisy and my wife was unable to sunbathe as we were in view of the builders. The hotel did give us a complementary lunch as compensation.
The hotel has it's own beach and sun loungers. Although there were other guests at the hotel we did not often bump into each other, so it was almost like our own beach for much of the time.
Two things to be aware of:1) some of the apartments require you to walk up and down some steep steps. 2) The creatures at night are very loud indeed. I was OK with it but my wife had to use ear plugs, which seemed to do the trick.
The food was very good, however, like many of the hotels, it was very expensive.

Hello,
I am writing to talk about my recent experience at LaLuna Hotel in Grenada. My friend and I picked this hotel because it was rated 4 starts, and it seemed like one of the better resorts on the island to spend my birthday. However, the description listed on LaLauna's hotel page on expedia left out a lot of details that would have deterred us from stay there. Such as, an outside/open air bathroom, that allowed massive amounts of lizards, moths and mosquitoes to circulate. Additionally, because of the open bathroom and space crevices on the doors and windows, it allowed lizards, moths, mosquitoes, and large black caterpillars(not knowing if it's poisonous or not) to enter the room. We also tried calling down to the front desk several times and no one answered throughout the night
This all made it very, very uncomfortable to relax and get a good night's rest. Therefore, we woke up covered in mosquito bites all over our bodies.
I would recommend updating the LaLuna expedia web listing with these details so people would know what to expect when staying there.
With all that said, my birthday experience at Laluna was very unpleasant.

We were terribly disappointed as we thought it was close to the airport. In fact it was a good 30 mins away down the back of beyond. We paid AUD 561 (412 US) for the one night in a cottage. We asked for a nice quiet location and were put in the farthest cottage away from the resort (even though there were no more than a dozen guests staying at the time. The plunge pool (a small thing over looked by the road in about 1.5m circular and .7m deep) was slimy and full of leaves and felt like it hadnt been cleaned in a long while. The open to the outside bathroom and shower were shabby and open to mosquitoes. The toilet - we dare not put the light on was also tired. Same with the bedroom which had a mossie net, and overall even though they had tried to upgrade it, the place was clean but looked tired and was shabby. The view from our porch was the road in and trees. No glimpse of the sea. We had to ask the staff to spray around before we could go to bed. Our request for transfers fell on deaf ears (should have been complimentary at this price). The only good thing was the restaurant, great food, and the early morning call at 5am and the taxi who arrived on time.
