Excellent Hotel!! Staff provided extraordinary service. We stayed August 23 so this review is long over due but much deserved. I mistakenly booked for the wrong date. Upon calling while I was on the way, the reception desk accommodated with the same price without question, so nice and accommodating. Once we reached the pool was about to close shortly after we made our way to the rooftop (which has nice crowd at night and nice nightlife) The staff then accommodated to allow my son to swim a few minutes after closing. Upon asking they were able to grant a late check to allow us to extend our last day of shopping, exploring and fun! I will definitely be staying here again. Not only is the hotel amazing, its beautiful, they put out complimentary fruit/muffins in the morning, cookies and coffee in the evening, the staff is unequivocally stellar and that made our trip magical!! Thanks MP!!

I was reaaly looking forward to a weekend at the pavillion. Upon arrival and check in they sent me to the incorrect room. Paid for a king, got a queen. So I had to switch rooms. The club level was supposed to have "amazing fresh fruit". So when i went the the next morning, the coffee was weak, the pastries had little to no flavor and the fruit was nothing more than some apples and oranges. This eas very disappointing considering the amount of money. There used to be, tropical fruit, melons, pineapple, etc. In addition there used to be smoked salmon, and hot food served. When i aksed, they blamed it on COVID. I am so tired of that excuse. The last night there the AC broke. It was just one of those things. Overall, my experience was fair. The quality has declined and when I compare to other luxery hotels in the area. The Pavillion is at the bottom of the list.

This hotel may be the best ever for smiling service. Everyone knows your name and can’t wait to help. The concierge noticed I had double booked at their restaurant and got in touch with me.

Quite a historic hotel that offered a blend of charm and prime location. The property is undeniably beautiful, and the front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making check-in a breeze.
However, the experience was somewhat marred by the condition of the rooms. While the historical aspect adds character, it also seems to have led to some neglect. The carpets were worn and had tattered edges, and the plumbing fixtures showed clear signs of wear. Gold towel racks were now chrome in places from the wear and tear. The craftsmanship in the bathroom left much to be desired as well, with missing grout and sloppy caulk work in the shower standing out. The bathroom desperately needed a handyman to fix several things. I wouldn't allow my own bathroom to look/function like that, nevermind a luxury hotel bathroom.
My visit to the rooftop pool was particularly disappointing. Despite the picturesque setting, the area was littered with dirty glasses and dishes. With three staff members present at the pool bar, it was surprising and frustrating that none took the initiative to clean up. They also never checked on us to see about ordering anything from the bar, which we had planned to do.
For the price of the room, I expected a higher standard of maintenance and service. While the hotel has many positives, these areas of neglect detract from what could be an excellent stay.

You’re paying for location, which is great, but I wouldn’t stay here again. The hotel was just average. Issues with tv, armoire, safe. No stair access, must use elevator. There are cheaper options, just as nice, if not nicer, with more amenities and same great location.

Staff were professional and friendly. The pool area was nice in the morning.

The hotel exceeded our expectations overall and we would definitely recommend it to friends. The only things I would change would be better coffee and breakfast choices. Seemed like they should have been higher quality for such a nice hotel.

Beautiful older hotel impeccably maintained. Housekeeping does a great job and includes turndown service. Nice rooftop bar is popular with both tourists & locals so gets a bit crowded. Nice valet staff, but the valet stopping area gets conjested & it takes a while for them to move the cars and even longer for them to retrieve your car. We had a lovely stay and intend to return!

Dinner in the hotel restaurant was the best steak and lobster I have ever had. Absolutely amazing service and decor. The food was fabulous, I can’t say enough good things about it.

Super clean and nice. Negative is no door staff so the hotel is closed to the public at 11pm. If you come in after that time you have to call a number to be let in. The breakfast is brought to each floor daily which is nice, but both mornings the pastries were extremely stale and in edible.

The room was spacious and comfortable. Turn down sercice nightly and coffee fruit and croissants every morning on each floor.
