Maya & Nicole at the front desk are amazing and knowledgeable and helpful with questions about the island. We booked a last minute Pirate Sunset cruise (book in advance) with only 15 minutes to spare and Maya called our cab. Having the option to grill there was great and the kitchenette was handy. We shopped at Super Food, bring your own bags! Sander and Anthony at the restaurant/bar onsite were great! The complimentary breakfast was a great way to start your day and the bar was fun to have a taste of the local beer. We loved the dinner as well. Recommend renting a car to see the whole island. Sunset on Eagle Beach was stunning. Two pieces of advice, do not get into a cab with wet bathing suits with cloth seats as we were told by a cab driver (after the booze cruise and pirates poison) they will charge you $700 upwards because they can’t use cab for other people afterwards and if you rent a car like we did, have it vacuumed out before dropping off to save a cleaning fee. Do your research and enjoy the Happy Island!!

No 24 hour receptionist. Bed bugs. I did speak to a manager. Did nothing! Neighborhood was not friendly.

The property was clean and the staff was friendly, specially the restaurant staff. The breakfast was delicious and the dinner was also very good and more affordable than eating outside. I didn't love the surroundings because there is not much within walking distance as the hotel is not around the center. Everything is close by driving which we were not.

Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Check in and check out was seamless. Our studio was clean and equipped with a basic kitchen; while the bed was a tad bit soft, it was comfortable. A/C in the bedroom and a fan in the kitchen/living room. The grounds and pool areas were well maintained. The included breakfast, served at Amigos on the property, offered something for every taste. We also had dinner here twice, once upon arrival and again on our last day. Both times the food was delicious. Special thanks to Maya at reception and Anthony at Amigos!

The hotel had an easy check in and the customer service was able to answer all of my questions. The shuttle to palm beach, eagle beach, and Oranjasted was a nice perk. The free breakfast in the morning was delightful and diverse in options. I highly recommend staying here for an affordable option while on the One Happy Island of Aruba.

I appreciated absolutely everyone at Aruba Blue Village for their kindness & hospitality!! All of the beautiful ladies at the front desk assisted every time we needed anything. The shuttle was available to take us places every day at 10am & would pick us back up at 3pm. The drivers went above & beyond to accommodate our needs. And if we needed a ride at any other times, the front desk would call a taxi for us. The food & drinks at the Amigos restaurant was very delicious with a good variety. I just needed more days to try everything ;) And if you would like to know about other cuisines in Aruba, ask Anthony or Sender. They were always helpful & also happy. I would definitely stay here again.

Although Aruba Blue Village is inland from the beaches, it offers great value for money compared with the beachside hotels and the hotel’s free shuttle bus to Palm and Eagle Beaches and Oranjestad is an essential part of the service for guests who don’t hire a car. There is a supermarket about 10 minutes walk away and Palm Beach is about a 35 minutes walk. Official check in was from 16:00, but our room was actually available as soon as we arrived, before 16:00. Although parts of the room felt a bit jaded it had a well stocked kitchen area, a good bathroom with a very hot shower, a TV and very importantly air conditioning. The bed was a bit soft but comfortable. Breakfast from 8 until 10 offered a variety of options on the menu. In addition evening meals were served every day and were reasonably priced. Most importantly we were made to feel very welcome throughout our one week stay and overall it was a good choice.

This resort includes an off the menu at no extra cost. The staff is very nice. The only thing that was a problem was that the pools are not easy to get in for older people. There are steps in a corner, but no railing. The one with a railing has a huge top step which caused me to fall.

The restaurant was delicious and affordable. Open for breakfast and dinner. Anthony and Sander were great. Loved Taco night. Breakfast was included with several options, nice size and tasty. Red snapper and grouper were fantastic. 2 pools quiet even with several families. Large, clean rooms, with kitchenette. Hotel several blocks from the beach & too far to walk. same parking lot as Madame Janette our island favorite.

This property was everything we could have asked for and more. Everyone who works there are so kind and nice. The food at The Amigos was delicious and quick to have option on property. The free breakfast had multiple options to pick from and was easily accessible every morning 8-10. The local was quick to beaches and other entertainment. We had a rental car and would recommend having a car to stay at this location. The staff even went out of their way for my birthday and left a gift in the room. They have beach towels to use and rooms were super clean. The beds in rooms were also so comfortable! Air conditioned too!! Two different pools that were clean and refreshing. All great things to say and would choose this place again in a heart beat. Thank you Aruba Blue Village for making our stay in Aruba so wonderful!!!

Property and room were always clean. Breakfast was great. Anthony & Sander are absolutely fantastic dining room and bar hosts. Room was quiet, private and cool. The only thing that we can think of for improvement would be small foldable beach chairs available for borrowing. We look forward to returning!

The biggest positive this hotel has going for it is its customer service. From check-in to check out the staff were welcoming and friendly and would go the extra mile to ensure any queries are addressed. Big big thumbs up to Maya (the receptionist) and Tony (Driver). The property was always very quiet and well kept. Will definitely recommend

the hearty breakfast served every morning was excellent; the problem with Blue Villages is ISOLATION! Most people who stayed there rented cars and they could go anywhere; walking was very problematic: streets are unmarked and unpaved; directions given are often erroneous; fortunately there is a first-class French restaurant next door; otherwise you have to take an expensive taxi; to get to the beach a taxi ride costs ten dollars; there is limited bus service, but it does not stop anywhere near the Blue Village; staff are friendly and helpful; accommodations are simple but everything necessary is included; swimming pool is large and clean. walking at night is very dangerous

The property had an intimate, homely feeling. The food was excellent. Everyone was attentive and hospitable. The only drawback was the beach was not as close as i thought...It took about 45 mins.

Our experience was wonderful It’s perfect for families. They cleaned the rooms everyday and everyone in the staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing is that you need a car to get around to the beaches if you dont like to walk a lot. The free daily breakfast was a great way to start the day. We love Amigos and we cant wait to come back.

Grill restaurant & Bar are on the property and the bar staff were friendly and attentive. It is nice and quiet place, not luxury or new. They well maintain the property. I would return to this hotel again

We enjoyed our stay and have all the helpful, friendly staff to thank for that. Ingrid sent us great information ahead of our stay and Maya was so kind and helpful during our stay. We ate our meals on property which was tasty, very convenient and priced right. There is a free shuttle to the beach or downtown but we chose to rent a car with Ingrid and Maya’s assistance . Beach towels were convenient. Our room was spotless. We would stay here again.

This was my first stay at ABV and I'll be back! I usually stay at the Aruba Beach Club but I like the option of booking 4 or 5 nights as opposed to a "time share" week. Airport was not crowded on Monday or Friday. My one bedroom suite was perfect - right near the pool. Front desk was very helpful. Room didn't have a hairdryer but they let me borrow one for my entire stay. I used taxi to go everywhere but next time I may rent a car. One free shuttle per day at 10am and 3pm was great but not enough. Free sit down breakfast every morning was awesome!!! Loved the bar and restaurant. Met some nice people who have been going to ABV for 17 years. Late checkout was also a bonus. If you're looking for an inexpensive option to the big beach hotels, this place is a hidden gem! Thanks ABV!!
