Really cute hotel nestled in the heart of Marco Polo.

It was exactly what i expected. Old Venetian building which is what i love about Venice this was my 5th time in Venice. Staff were all wonderful.
Nice choice of food a breakfast.
Only thing i can say negative is please update hair dryer .

As a solo traveller the room was perfect, the location was perfect for all the sights and the breakfast was very good, with many options. I would recommend this hotel to anyone 😀

Nice hotel and good value for money but the rooms/bathrooms are dated and could do with a refresh
1.5
Great service at breakfast and reception. Expected better rooms at more than 400 CAD a night.
4.0
Nice old hotel but with that comes poor soundproofing of course. Very small single room and not the easiest to find. Helpful staff and a good breakfast.

They gave me a room I didn't book and asked to have another even if I had to pay a difference and they told me they didnt have availability even though they did. When I arrived at the hotel the sir that was at the front desk insisted I was another person even though I already handled him my passport where clearly indicated my real name and took him.forever to get to my booking, the other guys from the front desk were not the nicest either, when I checked out very early in the AM, the guy who clearly could've helped me with my luggage he didn't, the room was awful, very expensive for the room and the horrendous hot bathroom outside of the room I was given, the bulding has lack of maintenance and I will never go back to that hotel ever when in Venice, worst experience in Europe ever.

Nice hotel! Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Good location.

Great hotel and very kind staff

The hotel is perfect location. The desk clerks were all very nice and the breakfast is also very good. The only complaint is that the A/C did not work so well one of the 4 nights that I was there. Otherwise 4 out of 5 Stars.

Lovely

No control over room temperature. If the hotel turned the AC on, it was on and the room was freezing. If they didn’t the room was hot. My private bathroom was not attached to the room and felt like a sauna due to the heated towel rack and tiling of the entire room. The toilet broke the first night. Although the staff was nice and the place was clean my stay was not good.
2.0
Staff was excellent. Good location as it was not a very far walk from the water taxi. Older hotel with walk up. Great breakfast. Remember to bring any electrical plugs that convert to European outlets.

Staff friendly and well situated (and not hard to find)

Absolutely amazing place to stay in the centre of Venice. I was travelling solo and they were so welcoming and the room was really comfortable and amazing value. Although it said it was a shared bathroom in the listing, I had it all to myself and it wasn't shared with any other rooms. The dining room looks out right over the canal and there's a lovely selection at breakfast.

Amazing place, gorgeous spot.

All the people in the hotel was so kind and helpful. It is in the San Marco, which is heart of Venice. You can walk from Rialto bridge area. It was very convenient! Many thanks!

Very old and dull. Poor lighting. Unwelcoming staff. My bag pack is bigger than their fridge.

It was a nice hotel and we got a good room with canal view

The area was great close to all major attractions.

The hotel was comfortable, with very good AC and good amenities. The breakfast was excellent. I didn't like the signage for the hotel. It was very difficult to find. It took us 1 hour to locate it. It is located in a very small alley with no clear signage. Also, the staff at the hotel could have informed us that we could have taken a water taxi from the airport directly to the Rialto Bridge stop for $ 17 instead of offering us transportation for $ 180.

Excellent location. Great breakfast and clean

Great service, especially breakfast

The location of the hotel was in a very good location. However, the interior was in need of an overhaul, ie. loose fittings in the bathroom.

Old ageing hotel. Best is the location and staff are friendly..
Bed and pillows are lumpy. Walls are thin, you can hear noise from other rooms. We have a room with view. It is a very small window looking on the small canal. We did see a lot of gondolas going by. Breakfast is cold buffet with good variety.

Location is perfect between P San Marcos and Rialto. It’s on a small quiet street, nice breakfast.

I expected an old property I booked it for the experience but I was disappointed I wish the reviews were a bit more accurate.
We booked a canal view deluxe room, deluxe it wasn't it was delapidated and dirty walls, nowhere to put anything no draws so the room looked untidy, the canal view was so high it was not possible to see the canal, the bathroom shower tiny. The breakfast was good the room is pleasant, the front desk staff change continually but we're all very nice and helpful the check in area is quaint and it is down an alleyway so difficult to find.
The walk to the vapereto is close and you are very close to the Rialto bridge and ten mins walk to st Marks square which is beautiful, Venice is truly wonderful I loved it but chose your accommodation to suit you, I like a good place to stay and this would not be my choice, I wish the reviews had been more accurate and I would not have chosen this hotel, but if your not to fussed it's well situated.

The accommodations were small as most European rooms are, but it was comfortable and adequate for the amount of time we spent in our room. There was an excellent breakfast that made up for everything else. Made made this special though was the wonderful reception we received and the helpfulness of the desk attendant to answer all our questions and direct us to the proper channels to find our way around the city and manage our way out to the airport upon leaving. Very special!
2.5
Cute little hotel in the heart of Venice. 15 mins away from San Marco, and Rialto. Truly a great place to stay. The only thing I want fellow travelers to know if that there is no elevator so you have to carry your luggage up the stairs. Aside from that, it was increible.

The hotel was very central to everything. We enjoyed the characteristics of the hotel.

Large room in beautiful traditional Venetian style in older building. Quiet with only boat noise as was on a canal. Reception people were very helpful. Self-help breakfast was fantastic!

Everything was perfect , canal view made it

The hotel was fine for what we needed (Basically just a bed after exploring all day). However, the bathroom was absolutely terrible. You come to expect smaller rooms in Europe, which is fine, but this room’s bathroom was disgusting. The shower head had a layer of black mold, and it looked like it hadn’t been changed in 30 years. Everything else was about what you would expect at this price point, but a $20 shower head would really go a long way here.

Not in the best condition. Really needs a reno. Was just ok. Wouldn’t stay again.

This place was excellent if you like to see and hear the gondolas. In the morning we got to see how the goods are transported to the boats. It was a very convenient place. Tucked away hard to find but once there it was very quaint and lovely. The breakfast was great too.

Decided to spend the night in Venice at the last minute. The room was affordable, clean, charming and quiet. They included a complimentary breakfast that was more than expected.
3.0
No mention of 3rd floor room and no lift

Disappointing.
