Excellent place. It has everything you need. They have a small pier to fish, a restaurant, bar and a bait shop right next store.

We had a great experience! Staff was wonderful!

Beautiful place. Great location. Great coffee and a lovely morning view. Great breakfast.
Clean, comfortable rooms.

Hotel staff were friendly and pleasant. The location was perfect with walking distance to restaurants and fishing piers. We got the bay view, and was able to watch the dolphins put on a show for us. Will definitely stay there again.

This was our second stay we absolutely love it we are coming back for new years eve and our anniversary the only thing wrong is the elevator when it stops on the third floor it stops abruptly. But it is still a great place to stay hopefully they fix it soon

We have stayed at The Lighthouse many times and we are never disappointed!! Staff is very friendly and helpful. It’s a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the scenery ❤️

The hotel was quaint and very close to the sea. The main problem which I wished we had known about was the air conditioner in the room. It was massively oversized and extremely loud - it woke us up multiple times during the night each time it switched on. The hotel was fully aware of this issue.

Enjoyed our stay, the breakfast, and loved the pool. Would come again.

Very loud! Apparently they have thin walls. The first night someone nearby woke me at 3 am screaming and banging on the door for Mike to open it. Could hear neighbors talking through the walls. Also it was the weekend and I could hear the live band across the street well enough to make out the words of the song. And all this was over the air conditioner which sounded like a diesel airplane. I don’t usually like to complain about hotels but this was one noisy place! Breakfast was good (maybe include more fruit) and the staff was friendly. Check in was manual old school fill out forms because the internet was out but that was a spectrum problem.

Weekend getaway for the hummingbird festival. Nice hotel on the water

We were very disappointed with the condition of the hotel. The family used to come here when I was just a kid and it was such a nice clean place. We had always loved staying here so we decided we would take a trip back for old times sake. It was not what it used to be. There were cockroaches all over the place and even in the dining hall. The rooms were not very clean, especially the bathrooms. Everything seemed to be falling apart and poorly kept up with. We called up to the front desk for some extra towels as we were trying to get our little ones bathed and ready for bed and they did not have to staff available to bring any up so we had to go down and get them. This is no big deal but for the price we paid for this room I was very disappointed in the staff, cleanliness and food.

It was well kept. Wish the restaurant opened up early in the day.

Well plenty of garbage in trash cans outside on the porch and as approached to register the clerk had a lot fires going on very loud and rude toward a co worker on the phone she seem to already having a bad morning didn’t look like she brushed her hair the air conditioner did sound like a washer machine when it is unbalanced and a night stand kept on sliding open in which I hit it with my knee just to go to the restroom at checkup did address all this and the same lady with the bad hair said laughing oh we have 2 ghost Really this is my favorite spot and I never had any issues before

Very clean hotel. Free breakfast not so great but dinner was excellent. Friendly staff. Great pool that provides pool towels. TV's in room are very small. Will be back.

We had a good time. The hotel is a little dated and needs some upgrades. Breakfast was the same each day and on Sunday the kitchen couldn’t keep up with the crowd.

Excepcional place, nice view, very nice staff!

The room was great and had a comfortable layout. However, we had dinner downstairs that night and our food took over an hour to get to our table and it wasn’t very good.

Really enjoyed our little weekend getaway! The staff were super friendly and helpful and honored our request to moved to a room off the first floor since we were two women it felt safer since there was no barrier from the grounds to the patio door. The view from the balcony was amazing definately get that bay view if you are able to! We were able to walk across the street for dinner and get a drink at the inn bar which we enjoyed. Spent time at the pool and sitting by the water all in all very relaxing and enjoyable! Will be back!

The property was manicured so pretty and right on the water.fishing was available a few steps from your room. The food at the restaurant was wonderful.

This property was just "short" of amazing. The location, incredible views on the bay side, and general enjoyment factor was very high. However, the couple distractions warrant mentioning in hopes for improvement. #1--The breakfast, although clean and with plentiful food, was substandard in that the almost week we were there, the scrambled eggs and sausage gravy were consistently cool to cold. Our breakfast times varied but the cool temperature food was always present. We could have gotten past this if there had been a microwave available to warm them. #2--The music over the intercom was terrible. For lack of a better term, the music seemed to be sort of country hi-hop and too loud to be overlooked. It seemed to have some Bob Wills-type country swing interspersed but was overall not enjoyable. #3--The room walls were paper thin and we could hear the people in neighboring rooms speaking at mostly normal tones. The occasional morning views of dolphins at the waters edge of the property were awesome, however. Evening dining was excellent; especially the redfish dishes and cocktails were exceptional.

The hotel is very clean and I love the decor! Breakfast area and bar were my favorite! I love the library room where I took my son for a couple minutes!

Most of the staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean and the pool was clean. The hotel is walking distance to the restaurants and food trucks in the area!

Nice room with balcony over looking bay. Pool was very warm and a little dirty but kids didn't mind . Carpet in hall a little musty. Service was good, front desk very nice. Good breakfast included in price, comfortable lobby . Walkable to restaurants

This was a nice and comfortable place stay. The rooms were clean and spacious, the bay view was beautiful, staff was friendly, and the breakfast was great! The pool was not great, unfortunately. We did see maintenance bring out chlorine pucks, but the pool chemistry was not balanced, the water was cloudy and it was not clean.

Older place but great service and bar!

Very welcoming property and beautiful aesthetics on the outside. Staff was friendly and accommodating.
Everything regarding our room was very clean (as many reviews had stated) but also very dated.
However, considering what we paid per night to stay here, we would probably not stay here again.

Would stay again! Pool view room was a tad bit too lively for us as people were in it til about 11, but quaint and tidy and expectations met for rockport area

Cute property. Beautiful decor. All around Flooring and carpet were dirty. Roaches found in the library. Breakfast/dining areas needed a good detailed cleaning. Dining chairs needed to be replaced or reupholstered. Great customer service.

Stayed here for a quick overnight get away... Quiet, clean, staff was nice, and the view from our balcony was great..

A few minor maintenance issues doesn’t mar this quaint and beautiful hotel on the water. Rooms were comfortable, if not a little small for a “suite”. The bay view is amazing and we saw a dolphin from our balcony. Breakfast was just your standard hotel breakfast but the restaurant for dinner was good. Nicest hotel on the water that I saw there, will return.

The property was well maintained and multiple sites to see within walking distance.
