We came 4 families for Sukot holiday. We booked the best and biggest of their suite. The staff was very rude, one of them literally said “I don’t have time to speak with you” after we asked to have dinner in part of the restaurant that was warmer since we were with 2 young babies. Not only the Suka was super crowded and cold- it was also dangerous with big holes on the side since they didn’t build it up to the end.
In the spa they allowed kids that were yelling and crying. My wife took massage and asked the manager why the kids are allowed and he answered “it is what it is”.
Let’s not start to talk about the non existence of security-they try to save money also there and the security there is basically zero. I don’t need to explain why it’s problematic nowadays.
The food was just ok, the cleanliness of the room was terrible and smelly urine in the bathrooms.
Room service is almost non existing.
We won’t come back.

We’ve stayed in about 7 hotels in Europe in the last few weeks and this was our favourite hotel by far!!!
Amazing air conditioning. Super comfortable beds. And we were on the top floor with the sloped ceiling and we loved it!
Staff all super helpful and so nice!

The room was clean, but the carpet needed a shampoo. The breakfast was wonderful.

Well situated, lovely staff, clean rooms, excellent and plentiful food.

We had a suit that smelled like a toilet all the time. The hotel just kept giving us air freshness that made it even worse!
4.1
Very bad service
Nobody want to help or attend
Everybody so angry and disrespectful
They don’t give us food and just make us wait
Very bad experience

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the King David Hotel.
The amenities were very good, the room was spacious and clean and the food was excellent.

Wont come back again.... Stil in shock. No parking infront of hotel. No meat, which was ok, but i would like to know it upfront...
No way this hotel has still 5 stars. 30 years ago maybe, but everything is fully rocked down, dirty carpet, wondows dont close properly, wind blows through. A tent would be nicer, to be honest

Superb room. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Food very good

the food was good and plentiful. service in dining room was great. front desk is very responsive and helpful. synagogue operated daily. good location.
4.1
The room was nice and clean with very comfy beddings. I slept really well throughout. The gym is the only drawback. It needs some attention in my opinion All in all I enjoyed my stay.

Visited the hotel for the 3rd time and would go again!!

The reason we chose the hotel was for the gym and spa facilities. 3 of the machines in the gym did not work, leaving only 2 working machines and free weights. The one benefit of our stay is that the beds were very comfy. But I do not believe the hotel should be rated as highly as it is.
4.1
Excellent facilities, really beautiful hotel and excellent food. We loved the stay. Very easy transport links and helpful staff to tell us where to go.
The hotel vibe and Jewish extras really enhanced our stay like shabbat lamps in the room.
We used the spa and had massages that were excellent.
4.1
Great hotel, superb service, reasonable price and excellent kosher food, real novelty when abroad.

We really enjoyed our stay. Staff were friendly. Food was great (breakfast) and the hotel was in a great location; just a 15 minute walk from the old town.

I am Expedia VIP Gold. At checkin they had no idea what Expedia VIP Gold was. I showed the people at checkin on my phone that i was entitled to a room upgrade if available and also one beverage. They had no idea what it was. At first they said there was no upgrade availble as all rooms were booked.... eventually one was mysteriously found. When i showed the Ukrainian lady at check in on my phone the benefits of vip gold she took a photo of my phone in order to show her manager.
Rooms and amenities are excellent and room was very clean and quiet. Breakfast was great and a large selection of food to choose from.
The check in ruined my experience but the stay itself was very good.

The spa was the only thing I liked. The coffee machine in our room was broken and so was the plug in the basin. Neither they bothered to fix. The net curtain also fell off the ceiling when I went to draw it. We had a basement room where you couldn’t see out of the window and we were also asked for a 3000 Czech koruna deposit on arrival which has never happened before. The staff were also the most unwelcoming I have ever come across.

It was interesting ... You MUST know that this is a Kosher hotel, so, if you are traveling with family you can all enjoy the pool ONLY after 6, because man and women do not share the pool but after 6 PM,. besides that everything was great, the food was good, I liked it, I would come back. Be prepared for some interesting things if you, like me, are not into religion, you will see some people chanting whilst getting their meal buffet :-)

How this "hotel" got 5 stars is impossible to tell. Ugly hotel with 2 star feel. Will NEVER go to this place again! Horrible. I checked out 2 days early and booked another hotel for my stay.
4.1
We liked the friendly staff and our comfortable room. However, it wasn’t as clean as we would expect it in a hotel like King David.
4.1
It says 5-star but it’s 3 at best. It needs a massive renovation. The hallway stinks which makes things even worse. I changed hotel after 2 nights

The stay here was great. Everything was walking distance.

This is an amazing hotel for any traveler, but particularly Jewish ones. Glatt Kosher meals, synagogue in the building and attentive staff. Old Prague is an easy 20 minute walk with no hills. Beautiful property and great accommodations. And Benny ensured everything was kosher to the highest standards.

Perfect for kosher Jews. Fantastic spa/pool. Money exchange no commission. Has a real shul, 2 mikvas, besides 1/2 board, a full time dairy restaurant and a meat restaurant a block away. 13 minute walk to the Palladium giant shopping mall or the Jewish quarter.

We were very happy that we decided to stay here. For the kosher traveler visiting Prague, this is a no-brainer.
Our room was spacious, with modern amenities. The staff were uniformly helpful and friendly.
The food was great. We had breakfast every morning; there was a nice variety and plenty to eat. We also ate Shabbos meals that were delicious.
Highly recommend staying here.
