We had a great stay, good central location with secure parking, friendly service and nice room with balcony. Bed not the most comfortable but was ok for 2 nights.

the smell was difficult, I suppose the storm at the time was responsible. Also, the elevator was not functional during our presence. But in general, satisfying.

Room design is functionally very poor.
No sockets at the bedside, and small bedside shelves. There were no extra pillows.
No tea or coffee facilities, no cups either just two paper cups in bathroom.
Toilet is on opposite side to bathroom, so to wash hands a long walk around the bed.
The fitted table design is very poor, with the desk+chair blocking the access to the window area at all times - you should reverse the desk and case storage areas.
Windows do not fit correctly and have no seals - 5mm gap in bathroom window when shut means a VERY NOISY experience with delivery traffic outside at 06:30. See photo of CLOSED window.
The bathroom to room is a glass wall with a 50cm gap at the top so the noise and light from the poor windows in the bathroom is disturbing. If you partner turns on the light in the bathroom, you will awake.
I would never recommend this property, and at EUR 155 it was simply crazy money.
I would say it is only ever one star at best.
The staff were excellent, and the room services and condition first class.
But so many flaws means it is not on my list for 2020.
Possibly the noisiest hotel I ever used for work or holiday - so it fails fundamentally as a hotel.

Very nice hotel, reasonably priced, next to the beach and centre of town. The breakfast is excellent and is only 8 euros per person and kids go free.

We enjoyed a very pleasant stay here. The staff were extremely helpful particularly with accommodating our mobility scooter. Room was spacious and spotlessly clean, soundproofing very good so that we hardly knew there were any other guests! And such a comfortable bed! Breakfast plentiful with a wide choice of food, as much as you wanted. Location is super, just a short walk from the fabulous Pornichet beach, and the market square.
2.5
Lovely hotel and plenty of on street parking as long as the market was not on. Hotel very well appointed and clean. Would go back.

Hotel seemed more suited to a single person - one chair, limited shelf and hanging space in the bedroom. Though there was a bar, I never saw it manned. There was a lack of ambiance in the hotel but the location was great and reception staff friendly.

Be aware the hotel is not on the beach, it is on a side street. The address is avenue de la plage and look on the map to be on the beach, bad luck. The room was very nice clean big and light. Staff missing and slow, the front desk was empty most of the time.

One night stay which was very good. Near to promenade and beach for early evening walk. Nearby a very good fish restaurant. Room had a balcony which was a bonus given the hot weather. Would book again if we visit Pornichet.

We had a wonderful time. The staff was friendly and helpful. Everyone was fluent in English.

Nice business stop-over for La Baule area. Easy to find, next to Tourist Office.

Clean basic modern hotel. Limited facilities so would recommend for short stays only. No room facilities ie safe, iron, tea coffee making nowhere in hotel to store valuables even at reception. Some rooms don't have balconies which ours didn't so make sure you request one in advance. No where to sit out would be nice if they had a sunn
Terrace. Overall clean and moderately priced.
5.0
Good beds for a modern hotel. Rooms are large. Balcony could use a small table and 2 chairs for lunch under the sun. Proximity to fresh market where everyday you can get food for lunch or diner. Hotel room however have no microwave or fridge....so for a long stay opt for an apartment instead equipped with kitchenette. Half a block from the ocean front, can't ask for more and few minutes away from a great thermal spa. Only downside, the small menu card for meals at the hotel can not be used as they turn you down if you request a meal. There is the capacity to do a small lounge/bar with small dishes but they do not have the personal to do so. That would have been useful particularly for people traveling with kids or sick person and who arrived after a long trip. Few restaurants around, too bad the Irish Pub across the hotel has not put its acts together and no longer provide brasserie fares, however, think about reserving ahead as they all work like that.

We had a pleasant stay, the hotel is clean and modern the breakfast buffet is good. Disappointing to have no drink making facilities in your room. Pornichet is a pleasant town, small and not too busy it is a good place for a family holiday with a great beach.
2.5
We spent 3 nights in the hotel at peak season and found the hotel very clean and tidy we had a family room which had a double bed in its own room and two single beds in the living room space which my two children used the shower room was very clean and to an excellent quality. My only negative I think breakfast should have been in with the room rate as it cost us over £130 a night but we would use the hotel again and plan to in the future
