Great location / good standard of property with plenty of facilities / close to beach and restaurants .... nice views. Great pools and BBQs, lots of cooking/living implements etc in room. Pleasant and friendly reception, but had short hours, although there was an alternate contact.

My family got beaten by bedbugs on all beds and toilet water in both bathrooms were dripping all day long. Need a bit of deep clean and tlc. Location and view were great though.

I hated it from the first moment I arrived. We came to a construction site. They are building a pool. We were not advised that there wont be. Pool. Took us 1 hour to figure out how to get the key because reception was gone before 3pm. Reception left a number to call but the number was disconnected. Walking into the appartment was like a horror story.. terrible smell like bug spry which made us all sick that day. Mould eveywhere, bed sheets dirty, dishwasher flooded and noone there to call for help. Windows in the whole appartment you cant look out at because of the dirt. Worst experience ever. Will never go there again.

I stayed at the Peninsula hotel three times before, the apartments are outdated and old but you get what you pay for and I usually stay there when I'm sticking to a budget. Although cleaning the glass windows once in a while goes a long way. However I don't like to compromise on customer service and their check in staff consistently disappoints. I arrived at the hotel at 2pm and apparently reception was closed even though Expedia listed the operating hours till 6pm. It took me about 10 minutes to realise what to do because I haven't received any instructions from the hotel. I spoke to hotel staff on the phone and eventually they gave me the safe code where the key is located. In the true fashion of the Peninsula hotel they rushed the interaction as fast as they can to end the call. I spoke to reception next morning to advise that a set of instructions beforehand would've gone a long way, person agreed with me and was apologetic. Usually I would leave it at that, but given my previous interactions with staff in past stays I decided to press with the review regardless. I would rate it as the worst accor operated hotel in Australia in terms of customer service.

The property was alright overall. However there was no one in the reception most of the time and the amenities given were very less. There is was no servicing of the apartment and it was not communicated to us that there were ongoing renovations at the time of our stay. The lifts of the building very also very shaky and overall felt very unsafe.

Jackhammering and grinding being done at a nearby unit in building while we were there for 2 out of our 4 days,which we wern't tod about. Had a two bed unit but only one bedroom was air conditioned and no ceiling fans. Apart from that unit was newly renovated and close to everything.

Stayed for 4 nights, property is spacious and well located. However the apartment really needs updating. The bathrooms are from the 80's and the kitchen is less than appealing with sticky drawers and cupboards that don't open or close properly. It is a full size kitchen will is useful if you need it. Overall, wasn't a bad stay but the apartment seriously needs an update. I'd spend a bit more per night and get something new and modern.

we booked this apartment expecting good services and facilities. The apartment was horrible and the services terrible. They don't even offer wifi. We were given a free wifi as a favour with a limit of 5GB data for the whole trip. They charge 80 AUD for 12 GB of wifi data. There was no cleaning service as part of the apartment. Apart from the location every thing was so bad. This is overrated apartment with astonishing rate.

It has an amazing location and great selection of pools. In the apartment there were many little things that were broken and old. But the price point is ok for the location and amenities. The indoor pool, our fave pool as no sun or wind on it, has a massive amount of chlorine which turned my hair to straw! This is because it’s an older pool with basic filtration technology and is a very warm temperature but it destroyed my family’s hair and skin. However the kids loved it in there as it was warm enough to stay in for a while.

Position is excellent, right on the beach in the heart of Surfers. Staff were excellent. Very helpful and friendly. Property has great amenities, pools, spa, tennis court. Indoor pool was closed when we were there for maintenance.2 bedroom unit had everything we needed, including a fantastic view from 30th floor, and was comfortable however it was very tired. Decor very old, walls dented and tiles chipped. Plumbing squealed. However I think the price was reflective of that so we were happy enough. Thanks.

Checkin went smoothly, they stored our luggage as advertised and we were in our room about 2 hours early. Thanks! Friendly checkin and most dealings with staff were fantastic. The area was great for what we were looking for. Loud... but to be expected. Garbage pickup was also a bit louder than expected. The room its self has seen better days. Online photos were very misleading. It provided everything as advertised, however the carpet was full of stains, pulling away from the wall in the master bedroom and looked haggard. Really took away from the room and magnificent city/ocean view. The frightening 1970’s blue toilet brush has also seen better days, I almost replaced it for them.
