Whether exploring the city or simply enjoying the surroundings, the easy access to key attractions was a definite plus. As a modern traveler, fast wifi is always a priority, and El Sueño Hotel delivered impeccably. The seamless connectivity allowed for both work and leisure to coexist harmoniously. The location was excellent for walking in the Zocalo area, the staff were very friendly and the breakfasts were very good. Our room was located downstairs with no outdoor views so it was a bit dark, but overall OK.

The room decoration and amenities are terrible, small bathroom, small tv, wall painted in red and silver; strange room and strange hotel overall. They tried to give a “cool vibe” to it but it ended being a visual disaster.

Excellent hotel with rooms that are decorated beautifully. Located in the historic district of Puebla. The staff were very attentive and polite. Most spoke English as well as Spanish. The food in the restaurant was wonderful as well. Really enjoyed our stay and would return.

We really enjoyed our stay. Very clean and comfortable with modern amenities. The staff was very friendly and a lot of them spoke English. They also helped us with our Spanish! The spa was very relaxing and everything was very reasonably priced. Great internet in the common areas; just not in our room itself. The pool is small, but very clean and nice. Delicious food at the restaurant and at breakfast. Wonderful place!

I found the hotel was overpriced for what it offered. The shower didn't work well and the pool was tiny and unheated (it's supposed to be a spa!). On the plus side, it included parking, the location was good, and the staff friendly.

This is a hidden gem in Puebla. In the heart of Zocalo, the centre of Puebla history. We’ve stayed at El Sueño twice now and it has been our favourite place to stay. The rooms are comfortable, clean, the breakfast is warm and delicious. Service is impeccable! Everyone is so accommodating and willing to help and answer any questions or make suggestions. We love the history, architecture and comfort of the hotel.

We have a great time. The hotel was terrific; the bed, the sheets, the toiletries, the Jacuzzi, and the service were perfect. The location is perfect, near everywhere. I spent just one night here, but wish I could have stayed longer. It is very artsy with a lot of artwork in the room and public spaces. Everything was clean and the staff was very friendly.

The property is Beautiful. They used the original building from the 1400. But sadly you have to call or schedule if you want to used the pool , the laundry service took 4 days and not 24 hours, parking is small and the Communication between employees is not great. It took 18 e-mail and multiple phones call to set up a room for a event and I end up serving my guest do to only having one stuff in a event for 25 people. If we go back will be just to appreciate the building

We had a delightful stay. The service from the front desk to the wait staff was outstanding and prompt. The hotel is very charming and quiet. As we stayed under covid rules, the sauna and the steam room were not open but the pool was. The pool is is small but just perfect for hotel such as this one. It was a great location for all the historical sites of Puebla.

When we checked in we found that the hotel had pre authorised the entire stay on our credit card ! We then paid for our stay but they didn’t use the pre authorisation but raised a new charge ? When we checked out they would not use the open authorisation to settle a small meal we had but again raised a new charge ? It ment that we had two charges on our card and the entire stay blocked off as well! I asked them to cancel the pre authorisation and they said they couldn’t ( which is nonsense ) , they then got very rude , ignored us and didn’t say thank you or goodbye . Our room was very good , the breakfast is fine and the building is lovely . Be careful when you lock your door , we had another guest walk into our room twice at 7am and then 8.30 apparently thinking it was an exit ( when we complained to the front desk the guy said no problem ? We said it was a problem because my wife was undressed at the time ! ) the communication at this hotel is terrible !
