I am no stranger to motel 6 and this one was average, stained sheets, uncomfortable beds, people lurking around at night. I was booked for two nights but only stayed one and moved to the studio 6 in Santa Ana just a few miles away. Vast improvement there for only $20 more a night, quite the opposite of what I found here. Hands down best motel 6 I have ever stayed at, didn’t feel like a motel 6 at all, other than the soap,lol.

I was in room 214, the bed frame is badly bent, anyone laying on either side of the bed easily rolls out. This simply broken and needs to be fixed. I stayed in the same room several weeks ago and it was exactly the same.

The rooms were clean. The staff was welcoming and friendly. I was able to sleep comfortably which is hard to do out on the road.

Starting with the night clerk check-in, it was disappointing and just got worse. The clerk was clearly unhappy with his job, unfriendly and mumbled replies. We arrived very late and the property is in a sketchy area and we saw a few parked cars with people in them doing sketchy things. The rooms are tiny - a bed and bathroom, no more room than that. The bathroom was dirty with hair in the sink, on the floor and in the drains. The shower drained so slowly it was still draining for hours in the morning when my husband had taken a shower before we went to sleep the night before. We spent a few minutes killing bugs that enjoyed the place way more than us, slept for a few hours and left. We will not be returning.

Room was nice for the price, great location for my needs, parking was limited but available, room had a smell, saw dogs with their owners on property so guessing it was a pet smell, ceilings are thin and noise travels. Fit my budget, you get what you pay for.

Excellent staff; very accommodating and flexible with check in and check out. Everyone there is Super polite and welcoming. The rooms and beds are excellent for motel 6 standards. Parking is easy and the area is full of nearby stores and shops. Right off the freeway.

Decent stay. Room behind us or next was bleeding cigarette smell through the walls. Air conditioner was a little annoying but worked well. Roach or some other bug in bathroom when got there but nothing rest of time. Any noise outside is loud and easily heard in room. Red truck was blasting music till just after 11 in parking lot. Parking lot had a rolled vehicle ducked taped together in it upon arrival, and appeared someone still was getting some use of it as later it was gone. 100 bucks a night isn't bad, beyond 120/130, there are others places nearby for sleep and shower, just as comparable. There appeared to be people living there long term and taking care of some green houses and gardens near back of property and buildings.

Newly-remodeled budget motel in convenient location by freeways and lots of shopping & dining options. Room was clean, bright, and nicely furnished. Air conditioning unit & TV worked well, and there were multiple outlets and some USB ports available. Mostly minor drawbacks: no elevator, no luggage rack, no clothes hook in bathroom, no shower grab bar for safety, no clock, no Kleenex. Would stay here again if I want a no-frills, affordable stay in Orange County.

I liked the location near the freeway and the beach, the room was good, however, it was not cleaned well, there was a dirty wash cloth in the tub, and dirty Q-tip under the desk. Since we were staying only one night and we were very tired we stayed. We slept well but woke up to a homeless woman crying in the parking lot. The manager Issac was very helpful and welcoming and he said he would look into the housekeeping issue.

Too many baby cockroaches crawling all over the beds and ceilings. A lot of DEAD cockroaches behind bed, squished into the Walls. Didn’t feel safe after we got followed by a strange man from motel to nearby gas station and back to motel, stranger stood outside watching our room until 5am that night. Out door had a few opening attempts while. Felt scary as we were two young females by ourselves for a whole week. But Staff was perfection! Friendly and helpful from the check in to the last moment of our stay! Staff member “RUBY M.” Was spectacular and did an amazing job making sure we felt safe by checking on us every day and keeping an eye on our room. Thank you!

Everything about the room was great and staff was very friendly . The only thing was We just felt a little unease in the room . Someone knocked at our door at around 5:00 p.m. Saturday May 25th.. a man wearing a yellow shirt with a backpack .. I did not open door but tried asking through the door what he needed .. he did not respond and kept knocking and eventually left . At night when we were a sleep at 1:30 a.m. I was awaken by knocks at our door again . I didn’t see who it was this time. I was scared to open the door or even look considering how late it was but I called the front office and told the gentleman about the situation.. he was very polite and nice and he told me he didn’t see anyone at our door but to call again if knocking continued and they will handle it . Knocking didn’t continue .. and everything was fine after . Besides that .. stay was great .

I reserved a room which have a refrigerator with extra pay, but it didn't have a microwave which I expected. I called the desk and asked if there's any for public use, but the answer was no. The room was renovated and was really like new, but there were tiny bugs hang around everywhere. I was bare foot at the room and when I tried to shower, my soles were whole black by dust in the room. The facility was just by the I-405 freeway, but I couldn't hear any noise from the freeway, and very interestingly, the noise from the other room (using restroom, shower) was very loud.

The noise in the rooms on the front of the building is absolutely ridiculous. There’s a 24/7 Denny’s next door and a Cane’s that’s open until 3am. So people sit in the parking lot and blast music all night to the point of you feeling the cars vibrating. The property is very clean, great staff, but you won’t get any sleep. I can usually sleep through it with white noise from the A/C, but this was absurd.
