No parking area close by. One must drive around til you find a spot maybe three blocks away. View was lovely out the patio window. We had issues with air conditioning which they fixed and the hair dryer that broke and I did not report. Breakfast was a great assortment although the pastrie wee not fresh the fruit was.

They started construction work early morning on the 4th floor and since we had our three rooms just above on the fifth floor the noise was just horrible and it was impossible for us to sleep.
When I contacted the reception desk all they said they could do was to offer us free breakfast for the inconvenience!
They should have told us by check in and prepared us for the noise - that way we would 100% have picked another hotel!

We have been back to this hotel 4 times in the past year and it keeps getting better and better. Fabulous location, fabulous hotel - walking distance to everything, love the area so much - beautiful beach, restaurants. Hotel is clean and rooms are modern and have everything you need.

Excellent staff service, particularly at the reception, kind and open to guide.

This is a nice, modern hotel, located right on the Mediterranean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was disappointing; rather small and no blankets on the beds. But the biggest problem is parking! On a busy holiday (the day we arrived) it was a challenge to even find a hole to drop off your luggage. That does not make for a good start.

We had a great stay at Fay Victoria Beach. The hotel was very nice and the staff was great! We had a problem in that we had requested twin beds. Apparently they don't offer twin beds (?) or Spain's idea of a twin is different from the American idea of a twin bed (?) but they made sure to accommodate our request. They brought a twin bed into our room. It made for less room, but we appreciated their efforts! The staff did their best during our two week stay to help us with transportation information, site seeing, dining options and everything else. Truly kind people.

Basic room. Supposed to be sea view but wasn’t. No proper reception desk. Room key card did not work most of the time and kept having to come back downstairs. Decor tired and outdated. Considering a lot of my family had rooms cancelled due to ‘refurbishment’ did not see much evidence of this.

Friendly, helpful reception team. Hotel needs a little TLC but is gradually being updated. Excellent cold breakfast. Overall, represents great value for money.

Fay Victoria Beach is under major renovation…and will be a great Hotel in the future…currently there are two classes of room old style and newly refurbished …I was in one of the old style rooms which are clean but showing wear…I did have an issue with my room the first night and reception moved me to another old style room that was actually bigger than the first.

Very nice location, just a bit dated and minimal maintenance in some places.

Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are well equipped, with complementary toiletries, although I was slightly confused when the listing showed 'mini bar'. What you actually get is a small fridge - very useful! You can get some TV channels in English by using the audio button on the remote control.
Restaurants, bars and shops are all within walking distance and the sea is a stone's throw away for a relaxing paddle. Don't worry about having sandy feet afterwards as there are ample showers and foot-wash taps. That reminds me, there are also drinking water fountains along the seafront but the 'cerveza' in ice cold glasses was too tempting for us!

Fabulous views from the 2nd floor room. Quiet at night with blackout curtains.

The hotel staff were friendly and efficient, but the fabric of the building looks rather tired and worn. It really needs new furniture and decor.

Great location, nice ocean room with a big balcony. My only negative about the property was the rooms are very dated. They need a little makeover.

Fine hotel, pleasant staff only drawback it's at far end of Rincon and not many bars or restaurants close by.We were only on a one night stopover so not too much of hassle.

Great location, close to the beach, nice balcony with view of the mountains.Beds rock hard (some people would find this a bonus but for me it was not goo for my back) Blankets not comfortable. Room very clean if a little dated. Barmen Ruis was very nice and friendly, had to listen to one of the barmen 'Pepe' complain to his friends about working until 11pm - he assumed we didn't understand Spanish! The reception staff were all very nice. Shame the hotel is a bit run down as could be a gem of a place due to its location.

Yes it’s a 3 star hotel you can’t expect —luxurious atmosphere brand /new building with brand new facilities
It’s quite dated but very clean and out of busy Malaga town where you can just relax and I had the best view ever from 5th floor.
If you’re up for a quiet holiday I’d recommend this area and the hotel.
I went there by myself and it was the best holiday for me in my life

Small, friendly hotel right on the beach. There's a lovely promenade all the way along the beach. There are numerous bars, restaurants and cafes very close by, and the bus into Malaga is not far away. Highly recommended.

Bathrooms need a remodel badly. The room was fine. The view was spectacular with the sea view. Overall we didn't have a bad experience because we weren't expecting super nice and fancy and I think we paid an appropriate price for what we got. I enjoyed that the beach was very quiet.

great sea view but disappointed that there was no coffee/tea facilities in the room

Excellent location however poor English spoken in and around the area as it is mainly Spanish holidaying here. May concern was that the local restaurants did not have menus in English or showed pictures of dishes so ordering could be difficult if you do not speak Spanish. The area however is beautiful and in not far from Malaga City which can be reached by local bus at very reasonable cost.

Really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. The resort itself is totally Spanish. Never heard another English speaking person whilst there. And due to the time of year it was very quiet with just a few restaurants open. However there were enough to try out and the staff in the restaurants were very helpful when it came to interpreting my pigeon Spanish!!! The hotel is basic enough but very clean and the staff all very helpful so you couldn't really ask for anything more than that. Be prepared for all the runners, cyclists and dog walking along the prom each morning and evening. But as I said before it's more a Spanish place for living than for tourists to visit. I had hired a car for the 6 days I was there as I wanted to drive into the hills. The staff were very kind and printed me off google map directions for where I wanted to go, and getting there was so easy. Driving in Spain with their fantastic roads is not a problem at all (and I am female with a female navigator!). I would visit this hotel and resort again without a doubt.

Awful. The hotel is for elderly people. Stuff doesn't speak English well. We booked four nights getting a room overlooking a busy road. When we asked for a see view room they said the hotel is fully booked which was not true as we saw one outstanding room which was somehow booked and kept only for one night presumably for Spanish visitors. We felt they treat spaniards with more care then us and when we tried to complain they switch to Spanish or tell us they don't understand us. Hotel is under a massive construction and apart from weekend you can hear a drill noise from 9 am.
