Nice location and great hotel

Excellent service by everyone on site.

The room was super clean, the pool area was very inviting and well staffed. The receptionists, housekeepers and restaurant service were always friendly and helpful. I appreciated honest opinions and recommendations. Great atmosphere and would love to return.

Excellent location, the hotel is clean and well maintained and the hotel staff is superb and very accommodating.

Amazing location! Right in the heart of Mykonos town. Does not get better!! Staff was phenomenal and our room was gorgeous. Would definitely stay here again for easy access to the town. Beaches close by but not a beach hotel.

The staff went above and beyond and was AMAZING! Our flight left before breakfast started and they delivered breakfast to our room the night before. They provided complementary water in our room and at the swimming pool, gave us a tour of the whole place, gave us a complementary bottle of wine and a beautiful welcome snack, and a parting gift. I was treated like royalty here and loved every minute. I will DEFINITELY be staying here if I go back to Mykonos.

We were absolutely thrilled with our stay at the property. The room and view was amazing. The service was second to none. The manager Nellie was super helpful. We will be back for certain.

We were really upset shortly after checking into our room here. We were expecting the room to be small, based on the indicated square footage, but it was so uncomfortable. The bathroom door only opened to a 45degree angle, air conditioning was subpar, rooms were not very clean. We stayed here with a few other couples that experienced the same thing. All of us laughed in the morning because we all hurt ourselves on the door stoppers positioned in the middle of the room. We had to place a shoe over the doorstop to prevent us from accidentally stubbing toes. There were hairs and dead flies in the room, and the balcony hadn’t even been swept. The only redeeming factor was the breakfast . I travel for both work and luxury about half the year… I would call this hotel a 3.5star at most.

We recently stayed at this hotel during our stay in Mykonos for five year anniversary. From the moment we got there, we were treated to drinks and greeted by the general manager. The general manager took the time to sit down and explain the hotel to us and some history about Mykonos. They took us on a quick tour. The staff are excellent. Anything you need there there to help and make your stay much better. We became like a little family during the time we stayed there. The nice quiet property. The rooms are clean. The pool is nice and the food was amazing. The views from the hotel are amazing depending on the rooms you get. The windmills is pretty much next to the hotel.
The hotel is really close to Mykonos town so you can go out for a local cuisine’s and shopping. All the local bars and clubs nearby, but if you’re looking for beach parties, you would need to travel out further from the area. If you’re looking for a nice relaxing time, this hotel is the place to book. The customer service staff, and the general manager were amazing to us. They really made this day very special to us. We will definitely be recommending this to our family and friends.

The perfect place to stay in Mykonos, a relaxing haven away from the chaos of Mykonos town. We just left this beautiful hotel and after 6 weeks travelling around Europe this was by far our favourite hotel of the trip. Not only are the facilities, rooms and breakfast outstanding what makes this hotel stand out is the staff. Glykeria on reception was lovely, such a pleasure to deal with, the management team very hands on and also lovely they even personally farewelled us. I could wax lyrical all day but I won’t just do yourself a favour and stay here if you are in Mykonos. To the staff of this wonderful hotel thank you for the most wonderful experience.

We had an issue with our initially assigned room and the manager was prompt to offer us another similar room. The staff is excellent and will be there for your assistance 24x7. The location was incredible; right next to the windmills, little venice and the town. The bus station was just a 5 min walk from the hotel. My only slightly negative comment is that the rooms seemed a little outdated; the walls had a cloth kind of wallpaper on it and there wasn't a lot of natural light in the area where the bed was.

The service at this hotel was excellent, and it's very convenient for walking into town for dinner or shopping. The views were great; the pool was beautiful; and they constantly wanted to make sure that you were enjoying your stay. They were not knowledgeable about getting around island on the public bus, but the hotel was less than a 5 minute walk to the bus stop and easy to get to Paradise Beach.

Amazing hotel in Mykonos ideally situated 5 mn from the boiling heart of the city.
Amazing team, taking care of you, always available for a good advice.
Every details have been thought to make our stay as great as possible.
We strongly recommend this hotel to those looking for confort, beauty, service and peace.

Great location. Friendly staff.

The hotel attempted to relocate me to another hotel in an undesirable location without contacting me prior to arrival. I learned of it as the hotel driver attempted to drop me off at such other hotel. After having a stern discussion with the reception who miraculously found me a room it was smooth sailing. (I have many assumptions as to why the hotel tried to change me but I was paying for location location location and had no intention of being bounced). After the initial shadiness it was smooth sailing. Excellent hotel and delicious breakfast.

Great location and the breakfast was so delicious!
4.6
The hotel is nicely located in an exceptionally large garden and has lovely sea views to the south. The pool area is beautiful. However this year all the staff was not the level one would expect to serve you in such a hotel.
4.6
The property is in disrepair. Pool condition is poor, tile missing in multiple areas. Ordered drinks before dinner: martinis and Long Island tea, none of the people in our party could drink the cocktails as they were terrible. Sent them back, we’re charged anyway for the drinks, later ordered a bottle of wine, waiter was not trained to uncork wine! We had to show him how to open wine. Obviously a management failure as the young man was trying! Hotel losing major revenue by not employing a competent bartender.
On the bright side the hotel has a really great location. Needs to be bought out, renovated and ran by a qualified, competent hotel oriented management team!
4.6
The hotel is very well situated but quiet, walking distance to restaurants, etc. some of the staff wete extremely helpful (like Neli at the reception or Babi at the restaurant or the person by the swimming pool). The first day we have a less caring experience at check in but the rest of the time was perfect!

Shame on Expedia to rate this properly as a 5 start property. This was a trip of a life time that I have been saving for it for a long time. I learned to trust Expedia but, no more. This property was a 2 start at best. We had no at conditioner in the room and took 5 hours to get it resolved. The property is dated. Electrical outlets work as a hit and miss. Grounds are dirty. Staff not properly trained. The manager tried to do his best to accommodate us, changing rooms etc and I am thankful for that. I am more disappointed at Expedia for rating this hotel in a category that it does not belong to. I would truly appreciate a refund or at least a partial refund to what the category this hotel belongs. Thank you

Not a great stay overall - the rooms were nowhere near like the pictures so had to kick off quite a fuss to be moved from our first room which has massive rust stains in the (unrenovated bathroom). Some attitude from the staff too except at breakfast where they were lovely.
Great location but the hotel is in dire need of a big makeover

Great people, excellent location and really excited to return next year after the renovations are complete. Absolutely the best location and amenities for a stay in Mykonos!

Love the location
For this level of property would expect room to be cleaned daily only 3 out of 6 nights room looked after
On site training of wait staff at breakfast would expect already to be done
Found property needs a refresh of style
Being very critical
Overall loved our stay here reception and manager delightful

Fantastic location, property footprint and pool. Located in town right near the windmills with convenient parking and you don’t need to climb the hills in Mykonos. The rooms are nicely laid out and proportioned but are looking a bit dated lately. It needs a little attention. The hotel music policy is annoying calypso music that makes the pool less enjoyable than it could be given it’s a great pool.

Hotel offers great location and privacy. Service was good but missing the personalised touch of previous years. Some rooms started looking a bit old.

We were staying in Mykonos as a last minute sunshine getaway and happened upon this hotel - it was a real find. It's proximity to town, the bus station and some great restaurants was perfect. However, the real highlight of the stay were the staff.
Number one and Gold Medal place goes to Sara - she was incredible. So attentive, over every detail of our stay and went above and beyond to help us. I felt completely reassured that we were in the right place and I cannot thank her enough.
Secondly, Akis - always happy to help and service with a smile. A real pleasure. Thank you.
Such a great place, thanks guys.

This boutique hotel is a fantastic place to stay for access to Mykonos Town. The views from our sea view room were phenomenal. Super friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast spread; probably the best breakfast I have had that was included in a stay. They have a shuttle that picks you up from the ferry or airport and takes you back. Will stay again.

Overall good stay. Hotel is slightly outdated but staff is very friendly.

I’ve stayed at the Theoxenia three years in a row and as always it was a great stay. It’s a great hotel with superb, hardworking staff. I think the vibe this year was different, and that small things like the bfast have become worse. Nevertheless, staff in reception, bfast, pool, spa were all amazing! My main criticism to the hotel is re a staff member called Andreas. I cannot begin to tell you how out of place and unpleasant this person is. Andreas shouts at guests, pretending to be their best friends annoying them. What really did it for me, though, was when he was screaming/ shouting at a female colleague at breakfast in front of all guests. It was revolting! If you have an issue with your colleagues you take that behind closed doors, not in front of hotel guests who were all on shock. Also the person he shouted at was one of the nicest girls at bfast during my stay there. With his inter personal skills he should be doing the dishes or taking out the garbage - NOT dealing with guests. Andreas is the reason I’m not coming back next year. Not sure what he is doing in a 5 star hotel. Just bad, very poor manners.
