Very nice

Not the best neighborhood and room was outdated but comfortable. Got a good nights sleep

We stayed here while visiting Six Flags. Very clean and updated rooms. The front office was very helpful and friendly. Right off the freeway so easy to get around. The property is fenced and there were security cameras all around so we felt very safe. We would definitely stay here again.

Hotel was comfortable. Has a microwave, mini fridge and freezer. Working A/C
Lots of parking on site with light and cameras.
Located off the freeway and very close to gas stations and restaurants within 2 block radius.
Staff was friendly.

The call to leave the room. The person was rude.

What a dump. I had to call the front desk twice. The heater stopped working and the TV had no signal. The guy at the desk had to come reset the breaker and change the Setting on a different remote that wasn’t in the room for the TV.

The only real issue I had was the guy at the window lied about some simple stuff. I asked if they had WiFi. He told me no. Hours later, I noticed on my phone they did have it. I didn't understand that at all. Other than that, the place was pretty decent

We just like to get a motel room and then take the ferry to San Francisco. So the motel is just a place to drop our things and sleep. It's not a fancy place, but it serves our purpose.

This place is a dump. Would never recommend anyone to stay here.

The hotel was fine and the room was clean and beds were fine. However, the air conditioner worked poorly which made the room hot and muggy

I have tried at least 10 hotels in this price range in Bay Area, this is the Best, bar none. From the time that I checked in the management was friendly and helpful. I was not expecting this because of the location. But management has dealt with it so well that it is like an oasis. All new remodeling and appliances from a new 2 door refrigerator with a wholly separate freezer with lots of room, satellite television with movie channels, new tub/shower combo, nice new sinks and counters outside the bathroom (with coffee maker). There is a new air conditioner/heater that works wonderfully; new windows that block out all noise outside; newly painted walls with long mirrors and excellent lighting. There is also a microwave, clothes rack, dresser and comfortable chairs. *** The shower has a good stream and a new powerful exhaust fan. There are new curtains that fit perfectly and do the job and comfortable chairs, WIFI, and the bed. The bed is the best. It is new, very comfortable, feels almost like a pillow top, and at least 25" to 26" off the floor. The night outside lighting and security is superb -- no unwanted or unauthorized visitors, cars and valuables are safe. I slept with my room window open all night, every night of my 5 day stay. Local marina, grocery stores, restaurants all in close proximity -- freeway entrance/exit within a quarter mile. I stayed in hotels more than 90 days in the bay area in the last year and this is my first positive review.

The Express Inn is conveniently right next to the freeway. When you check in, you are given the remote to your TV and your room key with the access code to their unreliable, free Wi-Fi. The rooms are labeled "non-smoking," but the rooms are stuffy and give off a stench of cigarette smoke. The bathrooms are interesting.....The toilet paper was almost ready to switch to a new roll when we arrived, the holder is almost out of reach from the toilet, and you have to exit the bathroom, walk across the room and around the corner to wash your hands No matter how you adjust the shower curtain, the water leaks all over the floor and the shower head only points to the wall. In the morning, the owner burst into our room, no knock, mistaking our room for the room next door. He did quickly close the door and followed up with a prompt call of apology from the office. Upon gathering our belongings to check out the next morning, we discovered lots of candy and wrapper under the bed that was not ours.It was cheap place for four girls to crash overnight after a local event, but like I said, you get what you pay for.

Was close enough to the freeway that you could hear it. It's over priced. Beds were way too soft which means they are very old. In a room with two queen beds (4 people), there was only 2 towels.

Me and my son enjoyed it he 3yrs old we had a real good time.

Room was smaller than expected. Clean but in need of attention cosmetically. A good paint job and new plumbing would go far. The roof access wasn't sealed properly and anybody could push or pull the hatch to gain access. Very limited hot water. Kind of hard to locate due to tiny street in housing neighbourhood. Let's not discuss the condom in the bedside drawer. The only reason I would I tell my friends about this place is because of the price. I wish I did have the funds to stay in San Francisco. No bugs, relatively clean, in need of some care, small rooms, nice staff.

Literally right next to the freeway and very little done to insulate for sound. There must have been some type of biker bar nearby because I heard motorcycles frequently roar by. The rooms although not the worst I've ever seen, were on the run-down, dumpy side. The woman that checked me in was very nice though if that means anything.

First off yhe name of motel changed, that very day, so no signs were up, it is in a very shady part of town right at a freeway access, it is clean, but i would not reccomend this to others, as it is in a very seedy area in my opinion
by far the worst expereince i have had here with rooms from expedia, the 62.00 was way over priced for this motel

This is an older hotel, near traffic. But, it was clean, good for a one night stay. Looks run down a little on the outside, but bed was moderately comfortable, and the room was clean.

The owners and the staff are just awesome, for a great bargain rate, close to everything, with fridge microwave and high speed internet, the bargain is great, but the service, you would expect to pay double for that, will stay here again

This hotel was functional, convenient (being that it was located just off the 80 freeway), and cheap, but one gets what he or she pays for. It was tidy and clean (aside from a stain on the inside of the comforter, which I never sleep with anyway), the AC worked well, and the shower head was high pressure. Now the cons: it was in a somewhat seedy part of Vallejo (not that there is an upscale part of Vallejo), but I never felt unsafe. Two lights in my room didn't function properly and there was no wireless internet as the internet site had stated. Also, the hot water in the shower only lasted about 5-7 minutes, so shower quickly. I guess the gist is this: if you are affluent and can afford to stay in Napa or Sonoma, do so. As a poor medical student, this place fit the bill, both metaphorically and literally.

Our stay here was reasonably comfortable. The room was clean. Abit small, but not bad. Nothing fancy but it served its purpose. I would recommend this to others if you don't mind the sound of the traffic nearby. We didn't have an ironing board, iron or hair dryer in our room but perhaps we would have gotten one had we asked. Didn't need one, fortunately. This hotel had extremely easy access to the freeway...practically right outside the door!

hotel is not too bad, but is in a seedy run down area of town. my wife never felt safe or comfortable. accessing the hotel from the north is very confusing. not much to do in the immediate area. had to get back on the freeway to go anywhere.

hotel is recommendable. It was a nice stay. Excellent cust. service.

It's right on I-80, so the noise is a little loud. And the motorcycle gang in the parking lot was not much fun when I was trying to get to sleep. But the room was clean enough, the TV worked, the shower had hot water, the fridge kept the food cold, the bed was okay, and the staff was polite. Not bad for Vallejo.
