This hotel is creepy and gross. Everything is old and crusty, no fans in the tiny bathroom, stains on the tub. There are signs everywhere offering help to victims of human trafficking, which tells you a lot. The staff was snarky at best, and rude at worst. The beds were hard and lumpy, and the nightclub downstairs is incredibly loud and woke us up all night. Definitely not a place to stay with your family.

My car was badly involved in hit and run by another vehicle around 2 am and they told me the cameras wasn’t working in order to see who hit my car.

My overall experience there was awful, my first night i couldn’t sleep because the room next to mine was having a party had to call front dest twice for that. They charged me an extra 100 at check in. And kept adding charges to my card!

Very large room, with a microwave, fridge and coffee making. Shame there was no tea. Unfortunately, the pool was closed for the winter when I got there in early September, despite temperatures being in the high 20s C. The "boutique fee" on my bill was a surprise $15/day to cover the, coffee machine, microwave, etc. It's a ploy to get more money out of you without paying the tax.

The property is so close to Monroe University and the convenient of the food, pharmacy, bank, everyday essential items is so great. For my first time in NYC and New Rochelle I would recommend this property. It was GREAT.

The hotel clerk that checked me in was extremely drunk and couldn’t find my reservation. It took about 30 mins to check in. They put me in a room the smelled like an old, sweaty, stale man. They did switch my room but that room had a similar smell but more so like mildew. I had to keep the ac on to mask the scent. My last stay, my AC power switch was broken and the remote control didn’t work. It’s little things but they are significant.

The gentleman that checked us in was so sweet! We told him we got married there 13 years ago and was celebrating our wedding anniversary. He gave us a tapas and breakfast voucher.

The room was large great bed but was not furnished properly for guest comfort. The large chairs were too low and uncomfortable to sit at. Bar cocktails are over priced relative to alcohol cost in US.

Spanish seems to be the main language of the hotel. I couldn't communicate clearly with a number of guests or some staff in english. It led to misunderstandings about parking, directions, and my bill. A few seemed surprised to see a non- spanish speaker in the hotel and wanted to try out their english on me. This has never been an issue for me before, even in the nyc area.

Not your fault, but there was a very large and boisterous group at the hotel after the wedding who were drunk and loud in the hallway until about 3am. There were so many and they were obvious intoxicated I didn’t fell comfortable confronting them.

This place was convenient for our situation and was adequate. It was a club not just restaurant so noisy. Staff was very kind and considerate and beds were fine.

Customer service needs substantial improvement. No flexibility for two hour early check-in. Waited four hours for housekeeping to fix a problem. Problems with parking though it is advertised as free, and front desk staff made vapid excuses for not fixing the problems, thinking I should be grateful for a coupon for a free tapas in their restaurant and two 8 oz. bottles of water in the room. They make a point over and over again telling you it is a boutique hotel, but it isn't a boutique experience. Oh, and they overcharged me on my bill, then said it will take two weeks for it to be reimbursed, saying it was a security deposit. It wasn't on my bill, but I found it on my credit card statement. Feels like a scam to me. I won't ever be coming back.

I chose this hotel because it is a short walking distance to the Metro North Train Station. Staff were helpful and the room was clean and serviced daily.
