The resort is beautiful and serene. The restaurants served delicious food. We stayed in the Palm Villas which is very private and away from the hustle and bustle of the Towers. The staff is super friendly and nice no matter where you go.
The only one complaint that I have is the bed was hard--it definitely could have been more comfortable. Maybe the beds in the Tower are more comfortable than the Palm Villas. Other than that, the resorts was chef's kiss 😘.

The stay itself was great. The resort is beautiful and in a great area with lots of activities and restaurants. We had some trouble with check in and check out that were really frustrating, especially for an expensive stay at a nice resort.
They apparently gave the wrong person my reservation, which caused a lot of problems and a huge delay at check in. And then at check out there were some mix ups that cost us around $800 until corrected. It was just disappointing to have so many issues during the two parts of the stay that are supposed to be so seamless (check in and check out.)

Can't say enough great things about the amenities and service at this resort. Everyone is very kind and helpful. My husband and I came here for a three night, four day wedding anniversary and we felt spoiled with the three different pills to choose from and poolside bars. We came for the food, fun, rest, and the sun and we are happy to say that we were bin disappointed. I do have one suggestion, though, and that's to offer group boat tour services of the lake. I think it would have been great to get on the lake for a few hours. Maybe the tour could also include a lunch. I know when I've been to coastal areas of the Mediterranean, these services are offered by competing boat touring businesses, and we always take advantage of going on one. It's a great opportunity to meet new people and experience something new. I think doing this would be a great service for this resort to offer. I'd pay $75-$100 per person to have a nice lunch on a boat and tour lake LBJ and stop somewhere nice for a quick swim before heading back to the resort port, fur sure! For the rest, everything was perfect!

Great family get away for Texas folks. Little hidden secret 1 hour west of Austin. We had an amazing time. Most of the staff went above and beyond to insure my family a great time and relaxation.

Some facilities are under construction but most of the area were great. We didn’t have chance to use some kids are but we will visit next time. :)

The property and surrounding area were nice, and it was great to see the newly installed lights on the mini-golf course. Although the property was older, it was well maintained. The service was exceptional, and the staff were friendly. While the food was a bit bland and the drinks pricey, the overall experience and views made it worthwhile.

First time ever being out in this area. Absolutely stunning views. We definitely enjoyed ourselves. Glad we chose the weekday to make our get away. The staff was awesome from front desk or to the men and women to greet you at the door for valet or shuttle rides. Everyone was amazing. Clean resort and awesome pool at the tower building.

We stayed in a Villa, AC was super loud, ice machine was across the street, and any delivery service couldn’t map to us.

The staff was as good as expected for the level of this resort, especially the exterior staff (valet, pools, tennis courts, Zumba classes). One thing I would like for this resort to add would be optioned guest accessibility to member amenities.

I surprised my husband for Father’s Day with staying here. We both had never been. They did a beautiful job making this place feel like you’re somewhere special. Pools are definitely not as big as the pictures online and the big pool is for members only. There are walking trails from the rooms or villas to their new floating pool in the river with drinks and food. It is an easy nice walk but if it’s hot during the day you can wait for a golf cart or shuttle. Not enough shade cover for the pool areas so bring a big hat. June-Sept is very hot and so if the pool water. The Villa rooms come with a private small pool with no kids on weekends. 3 pool areas total and 3 places to eat. Bring snacks/drinks if you don’t want to leave the resort as everything is very expensive, unless you don’t mind the expensive part. You can bring your own drinks into their pool areas. There are people that live here also which was wild to us.

Overall a good stay. The property is in a great area about 10 minutes outside of Marble Falls.
I liked the fact that the hotel itself isn't huge compared to some of the other resorts in the Texas Hill Country so it doesn't feel as crowded as the others.
The food on property was pretty disappointing especially considering how strong the food scenes are in Texas' major cities. After one meal (lunch), we decided to eat all meals off property from there on out which turned out great because Marble Falls had some nice options.
There were some entertaining activities on property that we enjoyed including miniature golf and the grounds themselves were nice / well maintained.
Would most likely return in the future when looking for a change from some of the branded options in the region.

One of our favorite places of all time! Staff is world class. I have been all over the world, and there is none better. Property is a gem in the middle of Texas. We are wanting to live here it is so amazing. Not one bad thing to say about this place. LOVE it and you will, too.

Enjoyed recent 4 day staycation away from the real world. So glad I decided to come here instead of the higher priced resorts/wellness retreats in Austin. Minute I entered my room, felt the tensions/stress/worries of life released while looking at the sunset overlooking the pool area. HBR must've done a major reno as everything in my room was modern, comfortable, stylish. Only had 1 dinner at Waterfront, one the resort's many restaurants as I wanted to checked out HB and Marble Falls. The staff were all so welcoming, helpful and could see that they enjoyed working at HBR. Enjoyed walking the trails around the resort, felt safe and lots to see! Hope to return some day soon!
