DISGUSTING.
Never again.

Very disappointed in check-in. Check-in time was listed as 3:00 pm but when we tried to check in at 4:00, there were no rooms available. We had to wait until after 5:00 to check in. There was no microwave in the room, only a tiny mini-fridge and individual coffee maker. The "hot" breakfast was a joke and the "bar/lounge" was a tiny little counter behind the check in counter. The description of this place is very misleading.

I had an OK stay, once I got into the room I had a bunch of stuff I wanted to put in the fridge, and the fridge did not work. Every time you flush the toilet, the toilet would make a high-pitched noise lasting up to a couple minutes afterwards. The room definitely could use a better cleaning. My bed was very comfortable, and the view was absolutely beautiful to the ocean.

Hotel was very unorganized. We arrive to get our room three hours after check. In time, and we're told we would have to wait along with several other couples in additional hour and a half to get our room at eight thirty p m.
Then they assigned us a room. We went up to it and the maintenance sky was in there, working on the ac and said it was broke, so we'd have to go back downstairs and get a different room.
Then we waited more to get a sign to a new room and were given keys that didn't work
Came down and got the new keys went back up to the room, and it was very humid. The floor was wet near air conditioner and there was debris on the desk right under the ac.Vent. room did not have hair dryer. Heavy Shower Door was off hinges. Balcony had no chairs. A solid concrete wall instead of a railing, the pool, his under construction and closed off. There is a parking lot in the back.As the oceanfront view from
your room and there is absolutely no beach here.It is a seawall. Would highly recommend avoiding this hotel! We will never stay again.

Hotel is in poor shape, dinning roof leaking water, not very clean and out dated.

Granted we came during a hurricane evacuation. But coffee was only during breakfast and not offered in the lobby or water like other hotels we stayed at. Also, false alarms went several times one night but no one said they were false. Fridge in room not cold and no microwave in room either

First night the room we stayed so nice and cool room. Second night the room we stayed. A/c was not working. Disappointed. Front desk did not have any available for us to move. We had to deal with warm toasty room all night. But awesome staff!!

Staff was very polite and helpful, price was right, room was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was great. I wish the pool and additional parking lot was available but was not repaired from the last hurricane. Other than that, our stay was great.

No access to the beach from the hotel and the breakfast was the same every day, the coffee was not hot just warm.
At the bar they have a menu and specials when you ask for food they have no cook or no food to cook.

Bad place. No pool. No beach access

Love staying at a hotel that has a beachfront room with a balcony so that I can watch sunrise while drinking my coffee. I also like to relax in evening listening to waves while reading my book. Unfortunately this hotel had no chairs available for on balcony. Also very disappointed that there was no beach access. First day had to walk four doors down to get to beach then park next door opened. The posting said pool was closed but many other disappointments. Beds were not comfortable and neither were pillows. The best thing about this hotel was their staff. Air conditioner broke one night leaving room at 78 degrees. Next morning maintenance supervisor came and got it running. Didn’t get cleaning service and Ryan from front desk helped us with that. Ryan was always friendly and apologizing for lack of other amenities. He was helpful in many ways. Not my usual Hyatt Place experience with this hotel but grateful for the awesome staff.

Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, beautiful oceanfront view; good hot breakfast bar; mini-fridge but no microwave in room. Issues included: no pool or beach access (Hyatt says this is due to hurricane damage, but every other hotel in the area has restored their services...?); toilet handle sticks (would keep running if not manually returned); faucet too short, causing spills around bathroom sink; dresser drawers would not stay closed; electrical outlets were so loose we had trouble charging phones; smoke detector beeped due to low battery, but maintenance had gone for the night, so the proposed solution was moving to another room (unacceptable), so I walked down the street and bought a replacement battery/installed myself.

I was extremely disappointed when we arrived. I booked this hotel because it was beach front and a Hyatt property. When I got there there was no beach access do to construction on a new pool. We had to drive to the nearest public beach and rent an umbrella and lounge chairs for $100.00 per day. Also I paid extra for ocean view rooms, but when you looked out you saw the piled up beach and pool furniture and hole in the ground where a new pool will be built. There was not enough parking for even half of the guest, so we had to park across the busy 4 lane street and walk back and forth. We had no maid service, the breakfast was out of half the food, coffee was empty , and the tables were dirty. I believe the staff was overwhelmed, and short handed. Every guest was unhappy and complaining to the desk staff about the beach access and the lack of parking.

Stay was good. Was told upfront while making reservation that the pool and spa were not available due to previous hurricane. Breakfast was great.

The check in process was easy. However, there was some property damage so we couldn't use the pool or beach entrance. Also, we had some key issues at 2am in the morning so we couldn't get into our room without the master key from the front desk.

You cannot beat a oceanfront property. Unfortunately due to the hurricane there were many issues. But those problems should be resolved shortly with the reconstruction.

Everything was very nice but was unaware the hotel was doing construction outside

The hotel is under construction, there was no pool or entrance to the beach and we were notified when we were there at 10:00 at night. We had no desire to look for another one. The included breakfast had a very bad taste, everything was cold.

No access to beach or pool , it should be mentioned that its under construction while making reservation but not after coming to hotel

The hotel was dirty, the carpets looked like they had not been vacuumed in weeks. The A/C was not in common areas, the elevators did not appear to work properly, with a least a 5 minute wait each use and you were lucky to get on the first time, and yes you can just use the stairs but if you have multiple bags and small children 8 flights isn’t happening. The rooms were cramped, had to call for extra towels and sheets to make up the sofa bed for my kids, and were still not brought what was asked for. The sinks leak all over the counter by design because the faucets are too short, so while they might look nice initially the functionality of them isn’t great.
The staff’s attitude at check in was indifferent, more interested in getting you to sign their waiver making sure you know there is NO BEACH OR POOL ACCESS UNTIL 2026… when I booked the hotel I did not see this clearly stated anywhere ( may have been my oversight but I am usually very thorough). However i did receive a message after booking stating that there was no beach or pool access due to “the hurricane”. I sent the hotel a message asking if the pool and beach were indeed closed and received no response. My intention was to cancel our reservation if they were. I should have just followed my gut.
Breakfast was fine, but make sure you get up early to get there and not have to wait.
The only nice thing about the whole stay was the view of the oceanfront room. It was beautiful.

Staff was awesome. Unfortunately, there was hurricane damage that resulted in no pool, no beach access, and only one elevator was working.

Pool under renovation and no beach access. Only one elevator working so always a long wait. The worst part of the experience was we were disrupted twice after 10 pm by staff who claimed we were not supposed to be in the room we were assigned at check in. This resulted in a stressful night instead of the relaxing getaway we were hoping for. Finally, we were overwhelmed by the strong marijuana smell down the hall. Other guest on the floor made similar comments. We will not be returning to this hotel in the future.

Room was great but the pool was under construction, whichs was a bummer but not a big deal, did not ha e beach access so had to walk down the road a ways to get to beach which was super inconvenient, great breakfast every morning

Thank God the Representative after 3:30pm that my husband and I met on July 21, 2024; was amazingly nice and professional. Upgrade our room for an oceanfront view and gave us all the information needed to have a joyful, incredible and peaceful weekend.

Was disappointed that there was no entrance to beach and no pool to enjoy . Property was under construction. also. We had to walk 4 blocks to walk down to beach and back to hotel. It wouldn’t had been to bad but my husband and myself have problem walking . We booked this hotel for the beach and pool. No discount was offered for not being able to enjoy pool and easy access to beach.

Properly exterior is under construction so be aware there is no pool which we knew before checking in so that was not a problem. The problem was no chairs on balconies, cold and dried up food at the breakfast buffet, and 3 different knocks on the door on the day of checkout between 930 am and 1130 am. Checkout was at noon and we left at 1150 so there was no reason to continuously checking when we were leaving. You won’t have to worry about us leaving again because we will never come back.

Staff is super friendly. Property is currently renovating their pool area so pool, jacuzzi and beach access is closed. The floor I was on smelled like marijuana. Didn’t bother me however people sometimes can be inconsiderate.
