Like others, the reason I chose Kyriad was its proximity to the station. My room looked directly at the station, a one minute walk away. It’s modern, stylish and nicely done in the contemporary minimalist style and everything worked. The breakfast was satisfying if ordinary. The staff were present.

Very convenient stay at the Rennes train station. Normally, I would prefer something more centrally located, but we had an injury in the family, so access to the station was key. And for our particular needs that day it would be hard to think of a better option. Cool rooms.

On the positive side it is VERY close to the train station and dining options. Also, the staff were very helpful and kind. The breakfast options were better than expected. On the negative side, we are all 6’ tall and the hotel was not designed for us. Two 6’ persons in those rooms is one (or two) too many. We switched hotels after the first night just to feel more comfortable. It isn’t the Kyriad’s fault, just something to know. If you’re tall, go somewhere else. If not, it’s pretty nice and convenient.

Cool hotel directly in front of Rennes train station. Plenty of dining options downstairs. Front desk was friendly and efficient and the movie theme of the hotel was very interesting (only wish we got assigned the star wars room).

It was a four night stay and everything was perfect. I loved the decor. About movies. My room was The Hobbit. Very good breakfast and the staff is just amazing, very friendly and helpfull.

Very good service and just across the Rennes station which we took From Paris. We decided to take it easy and stay one night before heading to Mont saint Michel. Bus stop to Mont saint Michel is next to train station across the hotel. Hotel has cute rooms and very friendly n helpful staff

Absolutely exceeded my expectations! Easy walking distance downhill from the train station, can see it when you come out of the North exit. Bright and modern, clean uncomfortable. Top notch breakfast. Decor in the rooms is a charming extra touch. We had the 007 Bond room. Quiet, full blackout curtains. Many good restaurants within walking distance. About 15 min stroll up to old center

This place was so handy, being straight across the street from the train station. Check in was easy and the room was clean, comfortable, quiet and easily darkened. It was a short walk into the oldest part of Rennes. Good restaurants in the area, too.

Hotel overall was good but when i returned to my room on the night i discovered lots of ants in the bathroom and into the bedroom, although they replaced my room (next door), the response next morning was disappointing from the manager all i was offered for my inconvenience was a free continental breakfast and couldn't do any more as i had paid through hotels.com and had had a good price. i wouldn't have tight this was an excuse regardless of who you have booked through or what you have paid poor attitude really

The hotel is conveniently located near the train station. There are lots of dining options nearby. The area appears safe. The hotel is clean and updated. The staff were very helpful. Check in was simple. The breakfast had a wide variety of options except for scrambled eggs. That I found odd. Perhaps thats an American thing.

I´ve been staying 3 nights in this Hotel and was teased with nice pictures and promises. the staircase and rooms are having nice pictures, but the rooms are small and nearly everything is made of plastic. the bathroom is very small too. - the whole room does not even have a cabinet to store your cloths. - room cleaning will only happen if you ask for it and then you´ll need to pay it. the WiFi signal was good, the internet connectivity was bad and also filtered so i could not connect easily to ressources i needed. had to tweak with VPN tunnels and external proxy servers. not really nice. parking is impossible near to the hotel. you need to use the public car park 800m away which will cost you ~11€/night. Breakfast is 10,20€ ... you rather like to spend that money at a Bakery around the corner. Why? because the breakfast is really poor. what were good things then? - the mattress in my room was really really comfy! - the fresh orange juice at the breakfast was really delicious - the main railway station is just across the road (as long as you don´t have a window facing that direction you will be OK in regards to noise) and as last: - the elevator is ridiculous slow! and if you, like me are on 4th floor or higher this is pain. - getting some tea and instand coffee including paper mugs too is a bit rough i must say. i expect more. - i´ve paid 105€/night and this is too expensive for what i got.

The stay was ok9, unfortunately people must have been smoking in the room and it smelled of cigarette. However the bed, mattress,was very comfortable and the breakfast excellent with attention on homemade jams and coulis.

Right outside Gare Rennes. Front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. Check in was quick. The rooms are themed for different cities I believe, simple layout with no closet but an area to hang your clothes. There are several restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The old city center and some parks are also within what I would consider walking distance (maybe 1.5-2km) Great value for money and would stay there again.

Compact room but with everything you need. Beds were incredibly comfortable. We asked for the twin beds to be made up as one bed but that did not happen; however we really enjoyed the space and the amenities. Incredibly quiet considering the location - they’ve done a great job sound proofing the rooms.

The rooms were really modern and unique. The hotel was very clean and right across the street from the main train station. Only one problem the Wild West room air conditioner wasn’t working and it was very hot on the 5th floor. The other two rooms were cool and comfortable.

Really enjoyed the decor and theme of the hotel. Rooms are modern and clean. Front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. Location is great - right in front of the train station with a plethora of restaurants surrounding it. Historic district and shopping are only a few minutes walk away. Would definitely stay again.
