The staff was very kind. The room was just not as clean as I hoped for. Our pillow covers were stained, so we had to ask reception for new ones, and they were very nice and gave us plenty more. Also, the shower floor was a bit dirty. The breakfast was very good with many options!

Immediately upon entering the hotel, we were hit with a strong musty odor that filled the entire building. To make matters worse, bed frames, mattresses, and random furniture were scattered in the hallway, giving the place an unkempt and uncomfortable feel. When we entered our room, the smell was even worse. After opening the closet, we found black mold on the luggage carrier, which was extremely alarming. The overall unsanitary and unsafe conditions made it impossible for us to stay the night. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel appearance was a bit worn, and the third floor had an odd odor in the hallway (a mixture of a musty smell and something else I couldn’t identify). On the other hand, the bed was comfortable and the staff was professional. It was a cheap room, and I felt I got my money’s worth, but I would probably pay a little more for a better hotel next time.

As soon as you walk in the room it smells clean. Located directly on the highway and easy to access. We stay here when passing through. Good breakfast and coffee.

Didn’t know hotel was under construction. Most rooms on the floor and the main elevator lobby were torn up and filthy. Room was quiet and ok but wouldn’t recommend giving guests rooms on a floor under construction.

We will be staying at the Sleep Inn & Suites again in Dothan. Clean room, clean kitchen, clean overall. Warm breakfast. Only complaint is the room carpet needs to be thoroughly cleaned or replaced as there are stains and smoke odor. Slightly difficult entry to hotel when traveling south on the highway, and slightly confusing. I still recommend this hotel.

Maybe my experience wasn’t a true reflection of the hotel. There was work being done on the whole floor that we had been put on, the hallway was covered in mattresses, bed frames & chairs. Although the workers didn’t disturb us they were working in all of the rooms surrounding ours! The worst of it was the whole floor smelt awful!! The room was dated but OK, the bathtub had an anti slip mat which hadn’t been cleaned underneath.. pubes! The breakfast was the usual for this chain however the cups & plates smelt the same as the corridors which made both of us not eat anything. There is a sign in the room stating the cost of any missing towels, pillowcases etc… isn’t it funny how they can do this but we can’t deduct the price of the stay based on cleanliness etc

I like that I chose the wrong date for our stay and the manager helped change it to Aug 4th. You are in the process of contacting them about the date change as you sent an email to us that it wasn’t done. I have the number if you need it. Thanks for your help.

The room had ants. We noticed them the first day, but not that bad. The second night, there were hundreds if not thousands. We are covered in bites. I had to gather my kids and all of our stuff and leave in the middle of the night. I was offered another room but if I was packing already and leaving the next morning, what was the point? At least the manager offered a future discount, but we won’t be going back. I was denied even a partial refund.

Nasty. Bathroom had previously used soap still sitting in water on the counter. Old dirty washcloth all dried up on the rail. Carpets are horrific, and dirty. There is moss growing on the outside of the windows of your room

I had the absolute worst experience at this hotel. From the moment I checked in, it was a nightmare. First, I found fingernails in the bed—yes, actual fingernails! If that wasn't disgusting enough, there was body hair on the furniture. The blankets had holes and stains, and the walls were covered in who-knows-what. When I went to the front desk to address these issues, the elderly lady working there was incredibly rude. She refused to give me a refund and got visibly angry when I brought the hole-ridden blanket to her, asking for a new one. As if this wasn't enough, there was a seemingly schizophrenic person wandering around the lobby, mumbling to themselves, adding to the overall sense of unease and discomfort. Avoid this place at all costs. It's filthy, poorly managed, and downright creepy.

I felt comfortable, I requested at check in on the 1st floor and was told there was not any rooms, I was disappointed to learn when I left the next morning that there was maybe 10 cars in the parking lot. Not sure why there was not a first floor room available.

Staff was nice and we appreciated the breakfast. The advertisement about renovations are misleading. Our room looked like the bedding was new, an accent wall was painted and new pictures maybe, and possibly new mattresses (didn’t check but they were comfortable). The furniture, bed skirt, carpet, and bathroom were very worn with stains on the carpet and arm chair and mold in the bathroom. I should have asked to move to a different room and if the other room wasn’t any better, we should have moved to another hotel. We were so busy and limited on time, we didn’t. Lesson learned for the future though. When returning the room keys I asked if all the rooms were all complete from renovations and I was told they were. The so called renovations were sorely lacking big time. Don’t stay in room 108

Went to a reunion that was held close by in another hotel. Even with the group rate at the other hotel my room cost less and came with a great breakfast. Room was very clean and quiet. I will stay here again when in Dothan.

We did not stay. Very misleading. Bathrooms had black mold. Carpets had stains all over them. When we switched rooms after stating the first room was not clean, we took pictures of the second room. Shower was nasty and cracked. Hallway smelled like mildew and smoke. Rooms were muggy feeling like the ac had not been ran at all. We were told we will be getting an email to confirm the refund but have not received one yet. The receptionist was nice but I’m not sure she fixed the situation.
