Lovely location , with great views and pool. A lttle tired in places but a nice traditional feel. Cleanliness great and a fun barman who put the football on for us 😀
4.2
On the plus side: very good location, right at the beach. Large pool. Staff very friendly. Very clean rooms
On the negative side: the hotel is in great need of a renovation. It appears run-down. The breakfast was poor

Nice location and great pool

Old hotel with facilities in sub-average state on the beach and with wonderful views.
4.2
Really nice, private hotel. Hotel staff could be more helpful with transportation. Website says they have a shuttle but they don’t. Beach & pool are nice. Breakfast is nice on the outside veranda. Beds are not comfortable. Nice walking by beach to town. Service staff were the best!
4.2
Very nice hotel, friendly and efficient staff.
Clean and comfortable, right on the beach.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this hotel. It’s breathtakingly beautiful. Staff are courteous and attentive. Hugo was Particularly helpful and courteous. We dream of going back soon.

Nice location

We had a wonderful stay. As we’d read that it was a bit old, our expectations weren’t that high, but the hotel proved us wrong. The room was beyond our expectations, and the balcony was really huge (we had superior room With a balcony and sea view).
The hotel was old but in a pretty and charming way. The food wasn’t outstanding, but it was ok and the staff’s kindness and service lacks up for it.
The access to the beach was incredible. Peaceful and quiet area, but a short walk to restaurants and to the centre of Letojanni.
The staff was amazing and extremely friendly. We’ll definitely come back.
The only negative thing is that the cleaners made a lot of noise. They started slamming with doors and talking really loud with each other from around 8 am, so if you want to sleep in, this isn’t the hotel for you. The walls are really thin and with them shouting outside the room it was hard to sleep. That being said, the cleaners were also really nice and friendly. Just very, very noisy!!

Très bon sejour.
Chambre confortables
Personnel très agréable.
Accès à la plage privée au top.
Hotel un peu désuet. mais très bien situé pour visiter la région.
4.2
The hotel gives a wonderful view from the balcony. The room is basic for the price but clean. The problem is the staff who is not nice. The restaurant is expensive and not good at all.
4.2
Very nice hotel with beautiful seaside views. Close to Taormina, so am easy car ride up the mountain.

Super ! Andrea is the best receptionist .
4.2
No easy access to transportation. Required lots of walking to buses. The staff was excellent very friendly and accommodating. Breakfasts were great.
4.2
Family run hotel, beautiful position, personal service by very helpful staff making us feel very welcome and at home.
Parking was limited. The shower head was held up by the emergency cord which rang in reception when using the shower. Sink plug was broken.

Stayed here two nights the first week of Sep. It would be a beautiful property if decorated a bit better. The property right on the water, with a beautiful beach (stone gravel). But the lack of the hotel's personality makes it very basic and simple 3-star hotel at most. Rooms have white paint over many older layers of paints, and simple furniture from '70's. The bathroom is old but clean, very small shower cabin. The first impression of the room (starting from corridor) was that I walked into some hospital room, but then the view from the terrace is gorgeous and I'm not spending much time in the room anyway, so it was alright for me. But the place is definately not romantic and I wouldn't bring my date or girlfriend in here if I want to impress her, it would probably make a negative impression on our relationship. The place is good for families with kids where the couple don't care and on budget. And expect many crying kids in a busy summer season. Many Russians usually stop here who don't speak English. Staff is very nice and speaks English. AC works but very slow on cooling the room, only in the middle of the night, it can get cold. They serve the mediocre basic breakfast with nothing reminding Italy's local food. The mattress is hard, pillows too. Self-parking lot on the property which is very good, and you would need a car to get around. In Taormina, I can't imagine how people can stay in mountains away from the Sea, this property is 10min away from old town of Taormina.

An excellent hotel from an older time on all aspects. Right on the beach with a crystal clear sea. Original decoration, ample spaces in lobby, bar, restaurant all with great views. Great views of the Ionian sea from a large shaded balcony with comfortable furniture. Large, bright room, very clean. We had an excellent dinner with Sicilian dishes for a modest price. We were both enthusiastic and we strongly recommend it.

We stayed at the Seaview room with absolutely perfect views of the ocean. The hotel is a little dated but the convenience of a beach, pool, and nearby town made it worth it.
4.2
We had a very positive surprise with our stay here. The hotel has a magnificent setting with view on the sea, friendly personnel, swimming pool in a very nice environment. It is a big change from the nearby Letojanni.
4.2
Beautiful old hotel with style and class in a wonderful location.

We liked this place just outside of Taormina- great price and no hassle. Amazing breakfast- they even had salad, fresh tomatoes, scrambled eggs, pastries, watermelon, kiwi and delicious coffee! Staff were fine- fee parking. Taormina is 15" away.
Our room overlooked the sea and we watched local fisherman cast nets. The pool looked gorgeous and very clean. It was a bit cool out but open in October. ( many pools were closed ).
Our room had a big veranda and we enjoyed sitting outside in the evening. Slept to the sound of waves along the shore!

very good because I wanted an hotel on the beach, but is difficult to get to the nearest town walking
4.2
I expected a four-star hotel to be more updated than what we saw. Paint on walls are peeling, decor is more on the 70s -80s. No Wifi in the rooms. Even the pool towels looks to be from a 2- star hotel.
4.2
We liked the hotel - the room was very good, overlooking the sea with a good size private balcony. The reception area and bar were attractive. The pool was good enough and the private beach was always very quiet - we visited in early June. However, the hotel is not in a very convenient location. There is a bus service to Taormina which is not entirely reliable and the restaurants in the resort are a fair walk away.
4.2
A good option if you like to swim and visit Taormina.

We arrived mid-week in the final week of September at approx 11am. We were greeted at the front desk (EVERY time you walk past front desk someone says hello and is there to help - excellent staff) and checked straight in. We had a massive balcony with a sea view (definitely the better side of the hotel), room was huge, shower very powerful and lovely!!
This is the best looking hotel of any in Letojanni, but at the furthest end of the resort. There is a narrow road with little traffic that takes you down to the coast road, where there are restaurants all the way along the beach. Excellent bus service stops right outside. SAT excursions also pick you up from the main road 2 mins walk away (go to the top of Etna with SAT - excellent trip).
The only thing that lets this hotel down at all is the breakfast - but remember they are catering for Italians and continentals (as it is thankfully not a resort full of English people) so do not expect English breakfast. There are cereals, fruit, meat, hard boiled eggs, cheese, fresh bread & some pastries along with warm scrambled egg and some frankfurters - but a little more variety would be better. However, this is everything you would expect and hope for in an Italian hotel - & more. Often they are small and dark - this is big, light & airy. Breakfast served outside under cover on the terrace. Pool is lovely and clean, so is the beach (take beach shoes). Excellent weather September, resort a little quiet but would certainly recommend!

Overall I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location was beautiful and ideally placed right on the beach. The pool was nice temperature and clean and not too crowded. It was only 25mins by bus to Taormina which was ideal but more importantly only about 8 steps to your own private beach! Staff was kind and helpful and breakfast was tasty. The interior of the hotel/rooms is slightly dated but not bad and views in the seaview rooms are amazing! My only complaint was that my bathroom smelled a bit strange the whole time. Otherwise, two enthusiastic thumbs up for Park Hotel Silemi! I recommend it to all!!

I spent a week here on a solo vacation. It was so relaxing! The seaview room looks straight out onto the Mediterranean and couldn't be more pleasant. The staff is wonderful and friendly, and helpful about day trips to the surrounding area. I read elsewhere (on Tripadvisor?) that the restaurant wasn't great, but the breakfast was more than enough and of good quality, and the bar and restaurant were similar in quality to most of the restaurants around the corniche.
4.2
A wonderful hotel! Very friendly staff, excellent location, comfortable room with a large balcony and a gorgeous view of the sea.
4.2
Location is mesmerising with views of the Italian coast from the large balcony. Hotel pool is well kept and surrounded by a lovely terrazza. Rooms are comfortable with the only exception being two very narrow single beds, too small for 2 large guests. We loved the outdoor areas and indoor areas. Only a short stroll to the nearby town of Letojanni. A beautiful place to stay.
4.2
A medium quality hotel with an awful and very expensive restaurant. The sea-view room was clean and the hotel staff was friendly. Not a 4* hotel, the manager should think over his politics to improve the services, especially restaurant and bar.
4.2
I booked this hotel for a week's holiday with my wife. I read all the reviews of this hotel on this website, and they pretty much prepared me for what I found. We had a seaview room, which I would recommend. The rooms are big and very clean. The furniture in the room was somewhat old, but that did not really bother me. Mattress was comfortable. The beach is full of pebbles, so if you intend to swim in the sea, better take some waterproof shoes. The pool is a good alternative, it was the cleanest pool I have ever seen. Staff is extremely helpful and coctail bar is relatively cheap. The hotel is located at the end of Letojanni, but Letojanni is a small resort, so you can walk everywhere. If you want to visit other places, there is a bus stop just outside the hotel. Bus service was regular while we were there but the driver told us that between mid-July and August, when a lot of Italians go on holiday, traffic can be a bit chaotic. The hotel has a free car park for hotel clients. Wi-fi was only available at reception. It was free, but slow.
This hotel is ideal for a "sun and sea" holiday. We will be definitely be back, next time we will take our children.

The location of this hotel in Sicily is excellent as it provides easy access to much of northeastern Sicily and Messina. Its location right on the water is terrific! Unfortunately, the management has not kept the rooms in good shape resulting in lumpy beds and extremely small showers. Additionally, the dinner we ate at the hotel then night of our arrival was some of the worst food I have ever eaten. Overall, for location of the property I would give this hotel high marks. For the quality of the rooms I would call it "tired" and give it low marks.

We stayed for 4 nights in late May 2008. We had a 'superior room' which had a balcony and a sea view - I would recommend taking a superior room as the view from the back is not particularly inspiring (other apartment blocks/hills). Our room was clean and everything you would expect from a Mediterranean beach-type hotel - i.e. no luxuries but serves the purpose. The hotel's food is it's worst asset: breakfast was pretty awful - the usual uninspiring fare served up for tourists. Although we were in Italy, the coffee came out of a vending machine and didn't actually taste like coffee. We tried the hotel restaurant one evening but it was very disappointing - it is worth the 10 minute walk into Letojanni each evening to find a better restaurant. The hotel has a pool with loungers set out around it - would have been better with the addition of a facility to buy drinks and small snacks. The beach below is really too pebbly to sit on and the sea was quite rough while we were there. The bus to Taormina goes almost every hour and only takes about 20 minutes. Letojanni itself is not large or worth spending lots of time in, but it has a small attractive central piazza and a good long promenade along the seafront to walk off all that pizza. All in all, if you don't mind rubbing shoulders with a slightly more mature crowd of German tourists, this may be the place for you. We were looking for something a bit more authentic and with an Italian feel.
4.2
it is a nice hotel - probably not 4 star however situated on beach with beautiful views from balcony.
4.2
Although from the outside the hotel looks a bit run down (as we pulled in we both thought "oh no"), the hotel is great!! The rooms are basic, but they are very clean, comfy and perfect for a beach hotel. The bathroom had a great shower, nice big mirror and was made getting cleaned up from the beach a delight. The best thing about this hotel is the location and it's private beach. The public beach is crowded and you have to pay a daily fee to use the loungers and umbrellas. But the hotel's beach was never crowded and was very peaceful. Although pebbly, it's beautiful clear blue waters made up for that. In terms of room condition it's probably not a 4 star, but in terms of location and satisfaction it more than makes up for what it lacks.
4.2
Staff excellent, view fantastic, hotel was just what we needed for a honeymoon. Would recommend.
