We have stayed a few times now and have always found it to be very comfortable and reasonably priced, certainly compared with the Ibis chain! Nice restaurant too.

10 minutes away from the lovely walled village of Saint-Malo.

The hotel served it's purpose, staff friendly and helpful, but the condition was very tired in all areas. Towels thin not absorbent enough to dry after shower. Carpet marked & needs replacing.

Everything spotless. Comfortable. Chosen as it offered Dining.
I didn’t eat that evening.
Perhaps I missed the box to tick for an Evening Meal. Also the one for a walk-in Shower.

Very disappointing. I travelled with an elderly relative who has very limited mobility. I booked a room with roll in shower for her as she cannot climb into a bath and I informed the hotel that this was for a disabled person with very limited mobility. The room was advertised as available at the time of booking. On arrival she was allocated a room with bath. I explained that this was not acceptable but I was told that nothing else was available. I then asked about a reservation for the restaurant, only to be told it was fully booked. I had chosen this hotel as it had a restaurant and so would not have to go searching for restaurants with my disabled relative. I asked the receptionist if he could fit us in, even at an earlier or later time but the answer remained no. The rooms are basic and lacked facilities, but the price was much higher than budget accommodation available locally I would have given 1 star for this review but the recetionist did offer us a free drink to say sorry for the problems, which was better than nothing, but I will not stay at a Brit Hotel again.

The front desk clerk was amazing. He was so nice and patient with me. Loved the room and the area.

Stayed over prior to getting the ferry back, great location, really lovely staff and fairly good value for money
4.0
Very basic hotel and very tired in terms of decoration but for a quick overnight stay it’s absolutely fine and offers reasonable value for money.

Just average. Would not return again.

Convenience to shopping, transportation etc.

Easy access, clean, efficient and welcoming.

Very disappointed with room. Nothing like photos. Very tired. The bathroom ceiling looked like it had been subject to constant leaking, the internal door was missing and the frame and bathroom door was missing a lot of paint. Asked for superior rooms and apart from the kettle, could hardly be described as superior. The excellent friendly reception staff saved the day. The restaurant food was excellent value, and as said earlier the reception staff were friendly, efficient and extremely helpful.

It was okay for one night, everything in the room is very basic. No kettle, no coffee nor tea bags:(
I hate the toilet tissue dispenser, the type normally used in the public toilets, struggling to get one piece after another piece of tinny tissue paper out from it!!! Totally ridiculous! It’s like in a hostel feeling.

The hotel had a good breakfast which is 10eu per person. Free gated parking and wifi. It's close to the aquarium.

Good value hotel. Handy location and helpful staff

The shower didn't work ,due to the bath/shower transfer button being jammed .i.e. The hot water came out of both the bath tap and the shower at the same time

The heater in the room did not work. We reported to the reception it was checked and we were told it was working. The next day we again informed reception the heater was not working and the room was cold during the night. Again no action was taken to fix and the next night the room was cold again. When we were checking out we asked why no action was taken and did not receive an answer in fact the response was you have not paid the local tax, when we had in fact paid e4.80 on arrival again the response was are you sure. We explained we had paid the amount to the person requesting payment twice his response was are you sure no apology.

Like a Premier Inn. You know when you book what you are going to get. NB. The restaurant is closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening.

Ideal for an overnight whilst waiting for the ferry. Rooms were warm, clean and comfortable. Excellent shower. The restaurant offered good value for evening dinner. WiFi signal was strong. No English channels on TV. Safe, secure parking on site.

Interesting older hotel with character and history. Not bad at the price point.

Very tidy hotel. Great staff - very accommodating. Hotel is short taxi ride to Saint Malo town center. Would stay here again.

Very handy for St Malo and the ferry port. Pleased with the excellent value. Our first stay in a Brit Hotel, and we've taken the brochure of all their hotels in France and will certainly stay in one again.

We cant. Understand. Why these group of hotels close restaurants. In the evening.. We were directed to a buffalo. Grill.. Which to be fair was very good.. And full up of the people in the hotel.. II know its winter period, but they could have filled the restaurant.. Neverlone. Good customer service.. But its clean and near ferry.. Although we had no heating... Sighhhhh

A one night stay before returning to England via the St. Malo to Portsmouth Ferry. The restaurant served good meals, the only downside was that the menu was only in French.

It was a terrible experience! I paid my room with wifi included and all the time I stayed there the wifi wasnt working and they didnt do anything to fix it. No one there speak another language, just French, so if you are from another country and dont speak French you are not able to comunicate with them. Also, when I got there they chargered us a "turistic tax" that we werent aware of that. Never stay in this hotel!

A warm and friendly hotel, staff pleasant and easy going. Only thing was that breakfast was shown at €9 in the room and at reception they charged €9.80 saying they hadn't changed the sign. A minor point but on principle not the best of attitude. You need a car to get here, there is a bus but it doesn't run often. Nice beef and potato restaurants on the roundabout within walking distance.

The downstairs rooms were clean and pleasent but rooms could do with decorating, the air conditioning didnt work very well and it was a very warm night and if the window was open mosquitos entered our room i also thought the room we had booked was a balcony room but was dissapointed to find just a normal window, also there was a towel on the floor behind the toilet which was seperate to the bathroom. the hotel is convenient to a shopping centre and supermarket and within easy reach of saint malo ferry terminal breakfast is continental which which you pay 9 euros each this was good with food prepared on the premises help yourself buffet which was very good dont know if i would stay there again but wont sat i never would although i thought it was a little expensive for what it was in comparison to the hotel in england the following night which was only a few pounds but much better

We arrived on the ferry at St Malo and the hotel was easy to find. It is not central so it was a 15 euro ride both ways to go in to central St Malo to eat as we did want to enjoy a cold beer and a glass of wine. If we had known this we would have paid the extra 30 euros to be in a central hotel. The hotel does have a restaurant but it is closed on Sunday evenings. It was the same situation for breakfast in the morning, it was hotel price per head for a basic buffet or head in to town again. The hotel is French and so things which are perfectly acceptable in France are not a criticism just a 'good to know' for future visitors. The pillows are very small, clean, but tiny, sort of for a cot actually and there is no shower curtain so the bathroom does get rather wet. Nice balcony but the view is not one you would admire. However, it was on the edge of town so if you want to head off very quickly to start your holiday you were out of St Malo very quickly.

Ideal hotel for waiting overnight for ferry crossing: easy to find, pleasant rooms, Hypermarket and small shopping precinct 200m away. Would certainly use the hotel again.

This hotel was clean and tidy and the only verry minor fault that I could find was that the shower being above the bath could have done with either a shower screen or a shower curtain to stop the floor getting wet during showering. I would reccomend this hotel to anyone, it was good vallue for money also.

the hotel was o.k., but not wonderful. The shower gel provided was more like water, and did not raise a single buble when used. The breakfast buffet was very limited and everything was cold,(except the coffee and milk). The restaurant had a very litited selection for dinner and there was no where else to eat locally in the evening,so we had to drive into St. Malo to find csomewhere to eat.Although the room was extremely clean the tiles in the nathroom were cracked and there was no shwoer screen, so when you had a shower the water went onto the floor and a towel had to be used to mop it up or else it got very slippery and damp. ther was also no ventilation in the bathroom so after 1 shower the whole room steamed up and the door had to be left open to reduce the steam. the beds were comfortable and the children liked teh littl truckle bed that fitted under the single bed.
