Great location, ski in, everything is within few steps away! Nice swimming pools, sauna and jacuzzi. Room was very comfortable and had everything and more than we needed. Really enjoyed the place and location.

Good

Ski in and ski out accommodation.

Really good appartment, had a great week. Facilities etc all very good and all we needed. Only two downsides: confusing check in (most of the hotels in the village are owned by the same company and we weren’t told which we were in!) and having to pay €98 to park, which wasn’t made clear beforehand. Would recommend though.

Fantastic views. Large underground parking with connecting lift. Large ski lockers. Ski in ski out. Fantastic family friendly resort and apartment. Would recommend.

Stayed in Hameau du Glacier. Very convenient, ski-in/out, nice apartment with all necessities, sauna, outdoor pool and jacuzzi are small and not too warm for January. Connected by indoor passage to a larger indoor/outdoor pool at Prince de Cimes. No complaints.

Apartment was rather basic and could do with an update. However, it was comfortable and very well located for skiing.

It was very good, excellent location,The service excellent and very wellcoming in the reception. the water in the spa (jacuzzi) was not warm Inaf. And it can be nice if will be a refeel for shampoo and toilet paiper.

The good bits: Great ski in ski out location. This is my second visit to ARC 1950 is as many years and the 'resort' and I have spent about 25 weeks all together in the Three Vally area. ARC 1950 is perfectly located and feels premium, but is incredibly expensive. (a good price index is a burger and chips will cost about 23 Euro) There is a small supermarket but it's roughly three times what you'd pay in UK. We booked a 1 bed apartment for 2,500 pounds, 1 week, room only. (no flights, or breakfast). If you want the room cleaned they'll charge you an extra 13 Euro's per head, per clean. The quality of the food on the resort in general is average at best and ski school places are limited for kids. Don't use this resort if you're a beginner as there are VERY few green runs and they are VERY crowded. If you're driving like we did, there is underground parking directly under the hotels, so access to your apartment is easy and does not involve a trek across ice and snow with all your luggage. Parking is about 100 Euro for the week.

Parking below property, good facilities and set in the middle of beautiful Arc 1950.

Really nice place to stay

Lovely apartment in the heart of the 1950 village. Genuine ski in / ski out, with convenient ski / boot locker right at the front entrance. Amenities in the hotel complex excellent including spa, sauna, fitness room, etc ... although signage could be improved. Apartment itself very comfortable and spacious, and kitchen good for proper cooking.

The village is amazing (it was our 8th time there!), and the apartment was in a convenient location. All was fine with the apartment - bedrooms are always a bit "tight", but you're not in there for long so it's not a problem!
4.5
Nice small “village” with all amenities available, perfect for a short stay. Close to the slopes.

This is our second visit to Arc 1950, and also our second stay in Prince de Chime of Pierre & Vacances Premium. Though fairly expensive, this is a fantastic village with direct piste access, and ski in and ski out from the door of the residence. The apartment is very well equipped with everything that you might need to make your stay very comfortable. apart from the normal kitchen appliances, the super silent dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine was great contributions to our stay. At reception, the hotel offers the opportunity to borrow a Raclette machine and a Fondue machine for the evenings. Considering the exorbitant prices charged at the restaurants for Fondue per person, we used the hotel Fondue machine on two occasions and purchased the cheese at the La 8 Huit in the village. The little bakery in the village serve the best fresh croissants every morning. so its real easy to purchase freshly baked bread every morning for the day to come. The whole Arc area has a free shuttle service that runs between all the Arcs, and a funicular down to Bourg st Maurice (free with a ski pass). We parked our car in the Arc 1950 basement parking and though fairly expensive, it is VERY convenient to simply take lift from your hotel directly to your car.
In short a fantastic village, with comfort and relaxation the main factor to enjoy! We will be back in future!

Quite a big hotel. Friendly staff and nice facilities.

my son and daughter stated there and though the hotel as well as the pool and spa, were excellent. they also thought the location was excellent.
4.5
The 2 bedroom apartment was of reasonable size, and had all the amenities I expected.
The water pressure was on the weak side.

Excellent ski vacation. Everything was just perfect!

Liked the property. Needs some maintenance.
MOST IMPORTANT. No were on Expedia"s paper work did it mention this was a property managed by Radison Blu . Spent 45 minutes looking for the entrance. You could have included check in instructions.

Perfect for a family holiday with you children, and probably the best place to stay if skiing in Les Arcs.

We returned to 1950 after three years away to be once again very impressed with the complete package. This time we stayed in Auberge Jerome which was really comfortable and part of the Raddison blue resort. in the past we’ve stayed in Pierre Vacances which wasn’t as special but still good...not sure how you can ensure this as it seems to be pot luck!!

Amazing location with ski in and ski out even with limited snow. Spa and pool facilities very handy for the kids. Rooms need a bit of a spruce but for ski resorts they are good.
Self catering facilities are good.
Comfortable sofa beds compared to most. Definitely looking to go again.
It is a little frustrating how you do not know which block/hotel you will be in before travel. We arrived in the middle of the night after cancelled flights and we had to walk a significant distance in the snow with all the cases and the little ones. This did not spoil our trip but if this information was available our transfer could have dropped us off at the right location rather than a generic one.
All in all a great holiday and hotel/appartments.

Very good experience. Would stay here again. Excellent location. Close to all facilities.

great hotel, fantastic accommodation for families, the kids loved it. ski in and ski out resort made it so easy to get to all the ski lifts and no transport to get to them was great. resort beautiful some restaurants expensive which i suppose you can expect. very christmassy feel, recommend the ski school in the village rather than other villages and this is so much nicer place to stay than arc 2000 just no comparison. spa in village if you need anything and we use mountain rescue for our transfers who we superb there and back very professional and reasonable compared to many others in area

Pierre & Vacances Arc 1950 is an excellent value accommodation. It's only one of two in Arc 1950 which is the better of the four villages due to small size and coziness. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Rooms are just as advertised. Facilities are good as well with a supermarket within the village and plenty of places to eat and rent skis. We went during a time when snow was not at its best so no queues/lines for anything which enhances the experience.

Although Arcs 1950 is classed as a 'new build' resort - you would hardly notice as it has been built to a traditional style and is much better for it - so you have the ski in and out experience without sacrificing aesthetics as some other newer build resorts have done. You will pay slightly more for staying here compared with the other Arcs resorts but the quality of the hotels, local restaurants and the village means that it is worth the extra for the comfort and convenience. This is not a huge apres-ski area - the bars seemed to clear by 9pm and most of the night life centred around the restaurants and eating out - so this will put off younger crowds but not families. The only mild comment I could make is that the signs for parking off the main road were not that clear (carried on to Arcs 2000 on the first attempt) and there is no local on-road parking available so you are all but obliged to park in the car park that the village is built on which is an additional cost - best tip is to get a week pass from the office if you need to come and go from the resort or the daily charges will mount. But overall - a great place to ski and a great place to stay - if you have the funds then definitely recommend it.

When you book the hotel, you aren't told which "block" you're staying in. Despite renting out weekly, it seems a struggle to cope with everyone checking in. There are few staff on each desk, the check in is slow and MOST ANNOYINGLY they prioritise phone calls above customers standiing in front of them. We queued (4 of us - one in each queue) at one reception for 45 minutes. In each case there were only 2 or 3 people in front and nothing seemed to move! When one of us got to the front we were then told that we needed the other reception and had to go back and queue again (albeit a bit quicker!) The flats are excellent but again staffing is haphazard. When we checked in at 1700 some rooms weren't ready. We found that we were short on towels - and it took 4 calls to fix: this is simple stuff and shouldn't cause the issue it did. The apartments are good quality and well furnished/equipped. Well insulated and if anything too hot due to centrally controlled heating. The jacuzzi is kept at 30oC "for health reasons" - so actually is pretty unpleasant in the winter. There is an indoor one but even that is not comfortable. There are no catering/bar facilities at all in the building but it all available in the local bars/shops. Even by French Alps standards pricing is "ambitious" but they have a monopoly. Expect to pay about double for a six pack of local beer in the supermarket in the resort. Packs of teabags were on sale for about 4x normal (UK) prices.
