i was a wonderful stay. i highly recommend anyone. 5 minutes from my daughter and grandchildren. 15 minutes from Long Beach Island and all shopping. staff is wonderful too. comfortable a plus. will stay there again.

Super nice Holiday Inn with a lot of amenities. Very short drive to the beach but less expensive than staying on the island. The 3 things I wanted was 1- Close to the island/beaches, 2- Pool, 3- Hot Tub. Would have given 5 stars but hot tub was broken the 2 nights I was there. They did give me a $40 discount for this but I did not think that was much considering $300 per night. And the hot tub was the deciding factor between this and another hotel nearby that would have been more affordable.

Hotel clean and convenient. Only very slight complaint is hair dryer in room is from 1950’s! Seriously very very old and unusable. Other than that good value and would definitely come back

The entrance and lobby are very pretty. The rooms need improvements. Carpet was stained. Ceiling was stained. Some of the outlets didn’t work in my room. The mini fridge froze my water. The AC was hard to regulate. Pillows were too soft. Towels were too rough. Staff was friendly and the restaurant was nice.

Great hotel with lots of action for kids. If you plan on going to beach, its quite the drive ( in traffic) of roughly 20 mins. Consider that if you plan on being in LBI. For what we paid, the hotel was great.

The amenities at this property are the real stars, the lobby is gorgeous! Unfortunately the rooms do not reflect the downstairs where all the attention went. It is time for a renovation, thankfully they are very clean but very tired and outdated. The employees were amazing and we so appreciated all the little areas around the property, what a great use of space. The hot tub was a murky mess and that was one of reasons we stayed there off the island. The employees were super prompt in addressing it but the entire thing needed to be drained and we didn’t even get to use it sadly. We will be back once the rooms get a refresh!

We enjoyed a one night stay at Mainland Holiday Inn. We enjoyed the room, bar area, go carts, arcade and jacuzzi/pool area.

I used to be a local but I’m now a tourist when I visit family who live in the area. Every single time we visit, we stay here. Ambiance, location, parking, cleanliness, and the staff are just some of the many reasons we’ll continue to do so! A huge bonus is that The Mainland is connected to the hotel lobby so we can enjoy an amazing meal and walk right up to our room afterwards. So many great amenities and fun things to do right on property. Can’t recommend it enough!

The property was very well taken care of. Exceptionally clean and friendly staff. The pool area was great, but it would have been nice if there were chairs around the pool to sit on. It was nice to have a restaurant on property and my kids loved the arcade.

Hotel was very clean, and beds were very comfortable! But our room keys were defective and had to be "recharged" three times- making 3 inconvenient trips back down to the lobby. Also a free breakfast was not there as advertised, and that was dissapointing. Some small items were available to eat( granola bars & muffins) at an extra charge.

Staff very exceptional! Cleanliness excellent! Room just ok do you the fact that the curtains did not close all the way only sheers and the arcade lit up our room and flashed, also the AC/Heat fan when turned back on again and again it rattled and made loud noise and the tv cable signal kept going out!

Attention adults- this facility is ideal for families with kids, but is not as enjoyable for adults. The pool was small and packed with kids the whole time. Although I called to verify beforehand that the hot tub was working, when I tried to enjoy it- the heater for the hot tub had malfunctioned and it was cold. It turned out the pool was heated, so I tried that- but the pool was tiny and then a group of kids and adults started a basketball game in the tiny pool so that was that. When I went to get a towel- there were none left. I was enjoying the comfy sofa and fire during a quiet moment- Sunday morning around 9:30sh when an employee came and decided to vacuum right where I was. I needed to do a little work- the internet was down the whole weekend. I had to leave the hotel in search of internet. Went to watch tv- direct tv was not working. The card reader for the room was malfunctioning- so we had to try both room keys 5, 10, 20 times until it worked. A different credit card was used for the reservation and at check in- they charged both cards. Bed was great- food was good- the place was clean- but not worth 180 a night!
