It was a beautiful property. The food it was not great.., the bar and appetizers were good. Dinner no recommend
4.4
Lovely location but hotel rooms are getting really tired, worn and neglected.
Public areas are very fresh so pity about the room.
Lighting is woefully inadequate in the room with no light on work desk.
Wifi is very fast so that is reflected in the rating.
Hope the management take note. Had very good experience before Covid on a previous stay.

Our stay here was our last night after over a week of driving around Ireland and we needed a nice restful/peaceful place and this was it. Also got to meet some of my Irish relatives who stopped by and had drinks and dinner with us. Thanks everyone.

Love this hotel. Dining and bar are great. Beds comfortable. Staff very friendly.
4.4
The hotel is clean and tidy and comfortable bedding
4.4
Beautiful hotel with exceptional staff. Duty night manager resolved an issue with noisy residents beautifully. The Spa is fantastic. The full body massage was just what I needed. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Was very happy with the experience there! Enjoyed the spa!
4.4
Great spa and service staff. Air conditioning was not working. Great location and convenient to airport.

There was a bad water leak in the first room we stayed in but I suppose that can happen anytime. We were moved to another room that had no fridge, no bath plug, didn’t replenish body soap in shower, left dirty cleaning cloth in room, didn’t remove dirty glasses from previous night but worst of all, the bed got made up on 2 occasions without changing the dirty bed sheets.
Some staff tried to rectify these issues but some other staff had a terrible attitude towards customer service.
The breakfast was excellent every morning and evening meals were pretty good.
It’s a pity that a nice Hotel like this would have a lot of unnecessary shortcomings.
4.4
Excellent service from Reception, free parking, very clean, food was ok in the bar. Spa was fresh €25 with robes etc
4.4
The staff at the hotel were friendly, warm
and helpful. The grounds around the hotel were beautiful and enjoyable to walk. The food was tasty, nutritious and well-presented. The hotel was clean and nicely decorated. As far as Europe is concerned, the rooms were
large and beds super comfy. The only disadvantage was the distance to get to Dublin or anywhere by car or bus. The traffic into Dublin is heavy at rush hours so it was 80 Euros to come by cab if you don’t have a car. And…if you come by bud it’s about a 3 km hike i n to the hotel with your luggage

Have stayed here multiple times and always a great experience. Clean rooms, good breakfast and quiet at night.
4.4
Beautiful property and great staff! Very clean; food and drink prices are reasonable. Not all that close, however, to any town or village if you're on foot. All in all a very good experience!
4.4
Excellent property comfortable bed and great staff grounds breathtaking
4.4
Excellent hotel for the business traveler and tourists who wish to be close to both the airport and the countryside.

We have had the most wonderful stay at Dunboyne Castle Hotel and shall be sure to return one day. The staff were AMAZING, lovely large rooms and large bathrooms, stunning grounds and only 25 minutes to the centre of Dublin. We were very happy guests, Thank you Dunboyne

A beautiful hotel with great staff

We loved the spa and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. They arranged for our taxi to the airport for us which was very much appreciated. The food in the cafe area was very good and service was great. Would highly recommend this facility to others.

Beautiful property. The grounds are just as beautiful. It has everything you need no reason to leave. Staff helpful and friendly. Perfect for a celebration or reception.
4.4
Nice place to stay. Friendly staff.

It has a pool at the hotel but costs an extra €35 to use. Disappointed
4.4
Great hotel! Location was a 40-50€ taxi to airport. The only downside was it took around an hour to get to dublin city center. the buses stop running around midnight/1 so if you are going to bars late in dublin, it is not ideal. but the hotel itself was very nice and the area around it felt safe. i would consider it luxary
4.4
Lovely setting, easy going staff, we didn’t use the Spa as we thought it was a bit expensive for us, nothing stood out as exceptional, it was just really chilled. Easy 5 min walk into the village centre for a wander, there's a big Spa so you can stock up on picnicky stuff for your room or days out, or wine/beer to take back to your room, plus a couple of Takeaways and we tried 2 of the 3 pubs too, both had a great and friendly atmosphere.

Upon arrival the property looks really nice. The reception area is modern and clean. We had a good checkin experience although weren’t informed of check out times, where to have breakfast and other facilities. With 2 young boys and a long commute we just wanted to get to our room. We were in a family room which we had to amend to at a late stage. The hotel were accommodating and looked after this. We had room 433 which if I’m honest was pretty disappointing for the price. The room was cold and uninviting the furniture was tired and marked. The throw on the main bed had a massive stain on it and there was a few pieces of rubbish that hadn’t been removed. The room was adequate but definitely not luxurious. We ate in the Terrace lounge and they made an error with our dinner reservation and ended up moving a few times but we were offered complimentary drinks whilst we waited. The food in the Terrace was delicious both for adults and kids. The atmosphere for a Friday night was relaxed with just low background music and no TV’s. Breakfast the next morning was also very tasty and had more than enough selection for all tastes. We didn’t use the Spa facilities as there was an additional cost and also you had to be over 16. In summary Nice Hotel, great food, pity about the rooms.

First time visit but will be back. Staff were very helpful and friendly; keeping professional when a powercut happened. Convenient to local village so no hotel cabin fever.

Lovely room, amazing staff, comfy bed and breakfast was delicious. Hotel is stunning. Only down fall is busses into the town centre are not consistent and reliable but this is not the hotels fault, could not fault the hotel

Hotel was lovely, staff were all very pleasant and felt like good value generally.
Food was okay, nothing mind blowing but nothing to complain about either. Restaurant staff forget drinks a number of times and left us waiting for menus and ordering for quite some time.

Dunboyne Castle Hotel is very nice. Our stay there was quite comfortable, convenient to Dublin, clean, and quiet. Service was top notch and the trails around the property were lovely. Dunboyne Village is very cute with coffee shops and pubs available. However, the Ivy restaurant at Dunboyne Castle Hotel was excellent for dinner, it definitely is a four star hotel, bordering on five.
4.4
Bad service in lounge super slow no

Stayed at Dunboyne for one night after leaving the city. Parking was the draw for my husband to this hotel. Convenient & easy to park. Ate at the Bar for dinner. Food was good & service was quick. Would recommend for someone looking to stay out of the busy city.
4.4
Room OK, although the 'view' was only to the rear of the property and with encroaching trees. The entire hotel seemed as if it could do with an overall deep clean. Staff were polite and friendly.
4.4
