It was great. Wish the theme park or water park were open a little different hours, but we understand it was not peak season.

It was really fun and the kids had a blast!!!! Everyone was friendly and Kayla at the front desk was so fun and cheerful!!! Perfect person to have greeting and welcoming everyone.

The room is really old. Need new mattress, new sofa bed, new paint. Even the fire doesn't close well, so we had to push really hard and bother the neighbors.
Good side, really close to slot off kids activities, and they live it.

Nice family hotel with the water park. We enjoyed our stay and the staff was really friendly. The hotel would be due for renovation but don't get me wrong is still really clean and enjoyable. Would definetly go back .

My two teenage children and I stayed here and we opted to get the waterpark passes included with our stay. We all had such a nice time. The kids really loved the waterslides and the room itself was clean and comfortable. The people at the desk were super friendly and helpful. My ONLY small gripe was that there was construction going on and one morning they started up at 6am and woke my daughter and I up. Also, one of the days we visited the waterpark they were out of towels, but those are the only things I can think of. Other than that, everything else was fantastic!

Easy and friendly check in, room was great.

For a quick getaway, it’s relatively fun, however the water park was a little small. The rooms sizes were big, we stayed in a room that hadn’t been renovated, it looked like it needed some love, but everything worked. I was disappointed that for a 4 day stay, our room was never made up, I expected to have some service.
3.8
The room is outdated and the bed is terrible. We all had back pain after staying. The water park and six flags are good for the kids.
3.8
At best this is a 3 star resort. The rooms are very dated, kind of dirty. The bed is very soft and the pillows suck big time. Not very friendly for accessibility and wheel chairs. Overall it was ok - I recommend it if you have children and want to enjoy the water park, lazy river. But apart from that it’s meh .. nothing really blows you away. Could use some updating.

Indoor water park was very quiet. Large rooms

Location couldn’t be any better. Looking at the parking prices at the park, the hotel is a bargain as you get to park with your room fee and get the water park to boot.
Water park hours are a bit odd. Check what they are before you stay so you don’t have disappointed kids.
Rooms are spacious. Amenities are good. Like most hotels post-covid, the services are poor. You need to request towel replacements and we never had anyone show up to make up the room. Not the end of the world, but this was a nicety that used to be the norm with hotels.
2 (slow) elevators for the whole place. Again, a first world problem but it gets annoying if you are in a hurry.
Still worth the $$ considering the location and overall condition of the facility.

Accomodating

Staff was very good. Property is old, not well maintained. Beds are not comfortable. They don’t clean the room until check out, but you ask for clean sheets and towels if you need, wish they offered housekeeping at least every other day. AC was very noisy.
Only indoor waterpark is included in the stay. Theme park is extra. The big slides are closed a lot of the time in the indoor park for lack of staffing.
Staff was good and friendly.
3.8
Water park was great. Rooms and hotel out dated. Food at the restaurant was cold and expensive.
3.8
No transportation to theme park long walk
3.8
During 8 days stay - cleaning of room only 2 times allowed, and with notice. Dont count on grab and go breakfast - as it’s always empty.

It was really fun staying at Six Flags Great Escape Lodge and Indoor Waterpark. We all loved the food and all the amenities that was provided.
3.8
On site water park was ok. Good for 12 and under. One slide was not operation which was disappointing.
-park across the street is an additional cost ($25 per person).

Fantastic place for kids!

The stay here was terrible!! To start, there was no air conditioning in the hotel (except in rooms) which with the waterpark, made the hotel feel like a sauna. Unbearably hot! The hotel is dirty. There is trash throughout the hotel, inside and outside. Trashcans are full, tables are not wiped down, and we could do without the employee smoking in the parking lot. The day we checked in, part of the water park was closed because there was poop in the lazy river.
Staff could care less about their guests. The coffee shop where Starbucks coffee is advertised never opens. Coffee pots at the second floor complementary breakfast are always empty. Staff simply stands there and watches while you try to get coffee. Rooms are not refreshed between days. Bathtub has a slow drain so you are always showering in 6 inches of water.
We wanted to love this experience, but unfortunately it was beyond disappointing, especially for $300+ per night!
I would not recommend!!

When we arrived at around 1pm our rooms were not ready as check in starts at 4pm. Staff gave us bracelets to start using the waterpark (facilities have changing rooms and showers), front desk kept our lugage meantime. We went to enjoy the waterpark which was small but just enough to keep the kids innour group very entertained and happy. At around 4pm rooms were ready, they were large and everything worked properly but one of the rooms had sheets with blood stains on it. Front desk was notified and they changed the sheets. Rooms were not cleaned during our 2 night stay and we had to call for more clean towels and toilet paper. Staff was pleasant at all times . Walking to six flags theme park was very easy from the resorts. There is also a Trolly that for 1 dollar takes you to the outlets and the village of Lake George. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return 👍

Indoor/Outdoor Water park

There are activities available for all ages. The challenge is the food was too high priced for what they served. Staff could have been friendlier. The hotel is in need of a remodel and repair. There was no vents in the bathroom and the door was damaged. We managed to have a good time.
3.8
The room smelled like humidity. The beds were not very comfortable, ans the springs were very loud. The water park was not even running with all the slides open.

Great option for a family getaway

Realize this place is going to have tons of kids. Every night there were kids running down the halls making lots of noise. After 11pm, I called the front desk about the noise. He said security was headed up. An hour later, they are still running around so I walk down to the front desk and he said security was still doing rounds at the park and they would be there. On my way back to my room there was a kid running. I followed her to the arcade where there were about ten kids with no parents. Then I looked downstairs in the lounge and there were the parents. I went downstairs to tell the front desk who the kids belonged to and he flipped the blame back on me. Aside from the noise in the hall, you could hear every footstep from the people upstairs. The shower curtain was broken and the AC was noisy. They were great about the AC and getting that fixed, but if you need peace and quiet, this is not the place for you.

Very nice time with my large family. Great water park in hotel

My daughter n i was there for 5 days. Housekeeping never asked about cleaning our room once while we were there. Garbage in bags through the hallways. Kids running through the halls early in the morning and late at night. The one restaurant there was over priced and a few things to choose from (maybe 10) . Some staff was accommodating and the other half didnt want to be there or bothered. I wouldnt recommend the indoor water park lodge. Was worth the money or time. Water park was closed for a half day one day and another day for half the day. Wasnt credited or complimentary anything. As i said it wasnt worth it.

My grandson love this place it a quite getaway for the family while still having a great time.

This hotel/resort is well set up with the indoor waterpark and the outdoor park right next-door. The decor is rustic, which fits the area. However, the hotel is a little dated. Cleanliness was OK not great. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The thing that soured me on this resort was the intense smell of Marijuana on the entire wing on the fourth floor that I was on it went on all afternoon and all evening from obviously more than one room. It may have been one of the group of kids who were staying there seemingly without chaperones. Finally, around midnight a smoke alarm went off in one of the rooms and security finally responded , not sure what they did but spell marijuana continue through the night definitely coming into our room. There did not seem any effort in the resort to control loud groups of children even well after midnight. Most of that is fine after all, it is a resort people should have fun. But for the amount I paid for my room. I feel like we should all have been able to have the smoke-free environment that is advertised.

Everything was perfect

Nice place, definitely will be staying there if opportunity arrives. However, whoever was in charge of pay option breakfast on 7/14 was very rude. I fill bed for stuff working there inder her suppervision. Unfortunately didn't have a chance to get her name. Otherwise very pleasant and friendly place. I highly recommend it.
