Nice hotel on the outskirts of the city centre. Dated and getting a little old. 1 of the pools was empty and not in use. Car is essential to get into town

First this hotel was 3 stars, and not 4 stars, inside building is old, the rooms small, the front view was ok and swimming was fine.The first day we arrived tierd of travelling and wanted to eat at the hotel, they told us there was a la carte food. So we went and told us cause they are end of saison they don't have so many choice, only pizza and burger, so we order, then they told us after there is not pizza either. The next day we want to stay at the pool and wanted to order some snacks, no snacks either, only coffee. So we have to leave the hotel 2 days before the date of checkout. We went to another hotel better than... We wasent happy at all...

This is a great value in the Kalamata area. The only downside is that you are not right on the beach, but that is more than offset by the fact that, unlike the beach front, it is quiet, every room has a spectacular view and you don't even have to cross the street to go to the beach. The staff are great. The beach front bar is great. Very good, classic Greek food as well. Can't go wrong with this place.

Spectacular views, all rooms face the sea. Very friendly & helpful staff. The pool and beach area are remarkable, so beautiful and comfortable. Outdoor restaurant/bar area delicious, though we wish the menus were more expansive, but we did visit at the end of season. Great location, quiet but close enough to everything being a quick drive away. Already booked our return visit!

Reception staff very helpful. Other staff not really interested in customers. Manager at breakfast was more interested in playing on his phone than looking after customers. There didn’t appear to be a restaurant open in the hotel or nearby to walk to. Nice pool area. Pretty good breakfast selection. Clean, comfortable and pretty good value.

The hotel location was good, removed from the heart of Kalamata, quiet, beautiful vistas and outdoor hotel amenities. The staff were always willing to help. One of the evening hotel clerks was able to help us arrange a private tour of Ancient Messini. Thank you! What an unforgettable experience. The hotel food was excellent. Although slightly dated, our room was comfortable and well kept. Would definitely recommend.

This hotel is great if you are part of a tour group or on a school trip. If just travelling as a family or solo it is not suitable. It is clean etc but the staff seem miserable and the hotel is not convenient to anywhere. The private beach is all stones and very uncomfortable for swimming. Would only stay here again ONLY if a part of a larger tour group

We visited this hotel out of season. It was quiet but the view from the balconies is superb. All rooms have a sea view, loking across Messinian Bay towards Kalamata and the mountains. Hotel a bit noisy with school parties. Coffee in room would be nice.

Comfortable, good value for money, recently refurbed, rooms & public areas v. smart. BUT.. no tea/coffee in room had to buy at bar despite 1am arrival... also staff forgot to hand back passport upon departure - in process of paying bar bill we forgot to ask (should have been an automatic process) so had to make another journey back to collect... BUT we also left something in room which staff looked after for us and on the whole, were extremely polite and helpful. Would stay again. PS Great views over Kalamata from room and dining area.

Beautiful location and very friendly staff who were very helpful in assisting us to cross the language barrier. Parking area rather small, especially when hotel is at full capacity. Everything is very modern and new and kept extremely clean. Only suggestion would be that they take the time to clean the carpets in the rooms. We were very pleased with our accomodations. If ever in Kalamata Greece again, this is where we would choose to stay.

Very friendly and helpfull staff, right on the sea front with a pebble beach and diving pontoon. Good restaurant with a local (greek) menu. Be aware there is a very loud beach bar within 100 yards that is extreemly busy on Sunday's, but it stopped at dusk.

our stay at the messinian bay was very comfortable. we would stay there again. The food could be better, the pool was amazing (the kids loved it), the beach in front of the hotel had to many big rocks but overall not bad. If you arrive by car,there may be a slight problem because if they are hosting a wedding you won't be able to find any parking. There is a view from every room and it is amazing.
