Modern renovation in a prime, yet peaceful, location with helpful staff. The apartment was discretely tidied up every single day. Breakfast on the 7th floor was very pleasant experience with staff eager to assist with dietary requirements. I will definitely keep this place in mind on my next trip to Rome.
5.0 / 10.0
The apartments consist of a bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette. The bed is comfortable, and there is lots of hanging space. There is a TV, but we didn’t use it, so I can’t comment on the quality of channels etc. The kitchen has a fridge, microwave, sink, hob, toaster and pod coffee maker - it is also equipped with cutlery and crockery. The bathroom in our apartment (A04) had been upgraded since the last time we stayed and the new shower is a huge improvement over the old type: much more room, and both an overhead ‘rain’ type attachment and a hand held high pressure jet. Toiletries are in large pump bottles - and the scent is divine (bergamot and neroli).
Breakfast was good - lots of continental choices, and a view to die for: St. Peter’s Basilica in one direction and Castel St. Angelo in the other. You can usually use this room at other times too, for relaxing. One slight niggle this time is that the roof terrace was closed for private events on two of our three nights. Not impressed that your paying for a facility you’re not then allowed to use!

Absolutely great staff, nice and helpful. Place is cute and clean. We walked everywhere. Between 15-40 minutes walk are most of the attractions. Metro is 15 minutes walk. 5 minutes to vatican museum. Loved our stay.

Exploring Rome was incredible, even with the long walks and high temperatures. This place was a perfect spot to relax and recharge every night. We woke up refreshed and ready to explore more each day. Highly recommend staying here!

This hotel is fantastic for families with kids/teenagers. It has full kitchen and laundry. 10min walking distance to Vatican city or shopping districts. There are a lot of restaurants/cafes in 2-3min walking distance. Highly recommended.

I've been using Aparthotels for over 6 years and this is the best family friendly we stayed in so far.
The flat was very spacious considering it was it’s classed as small. We had an actual bedroom a kitchen and dining area.
The décor and flooring were impeccable. Beds were comfortable and the functioning AC was a blessing considering it was no lower than 30 degrees outside our entire stay.
The only cons for me was the shower which was a bit too small with no much room to move around but unless you’re plus size you’ll be fine.
The breakfast room is beautiful, and the food options were decent and a typical continental breakfast.
Gym room is good with various equipment and the free laundry room is a huge positive because at other hotels we had to pay for it.
Great amenities and facilities overall and so you get great value for your money.
Staff was very friendly and helpful and rectified issues at their earliest convenience.
The area seems a bit “rough” but it really isn’t. We didn’t feel unsafe . and they have a security guard at night.
The closest train station is about 10 minutes away but you have a lot of must see sites around that are easily accessible by foot. The Vatican is literally 5 minutes away.
There’s two local mini supermarkets up the street if you’re on a budget and want to eat in some days. You also have plenty of local and affordable small restaurants and bars.
I really enjoyed my stay at Trianon Borgo Pio and definitely recommend it.

Love everything about this place. Location, service, very
lean and updated, decent breakfast. Only thing is that the airco lacks at times. I have to admit that it was almost 100 degrees but this is more the rule the exception for summer in Rome. Overal would book it again.

Property was in close location to Vatican on a side street. We got a unit that would sleep 6 people but it was extremely small (even for European standards). Place was clean but I don’t think I would stay there again.

The hotel was beautifully decorated and in a great location. Rome can be chaotic and this hotel was on a nice quiet street that was still in close proximity to restaurants, shopping and transit. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was nice to have a breakfast buffet, but it seemed as though the same food was served each day. They did not replenish or refresh, just put it away and brought it out again the next day. I loved having an actual apartment instead of just a hotel room. I would stay here again. We had no problems at all. A/C worked great in the ridiculous heat.

Everything was great, the only thing that is not yet, hopefully they will fix it and upgrade, is the air conditioning system in our room was not up to standards of all else that was great with the apartment.

Rooms are a great size. Very comfortable for a family of 4. Downside is the breakfast offering. Eggs taste like powder, poor selection of food.

Our stay at the Trianon Borgo Pio was nothing short of exceptional. This was our second time at the hotel, and once again, it exceeded our expectations in every way.
The location is unbeatable, with many major attractions within walking distance, including the Vatican and the Trevi Fountain. There are also plenty of fantastic food options nearby, making it easy to enjoy the local cuisine.
The rooms are well-maintained, comfortable, and equipped with all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. The free breakfast each morning was a delightful start to our days, offering a good variety of delicious options.
The service at Trianon Borgo Pio is truly outstanding. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. Their exceptional service made our stay even more enjoyable.
Overall, Trianon Borgo Pio continues to be our go-to hotel in Rome. Its prime location, well-kept rooms, and top-notch service make it a perfect choice for anyone visiting the city. We can't wait to return for our third stay!

Overall good
4.0 / 10.0
This property is not a 4 star hotel (maybe 2 or 3) and it is overrated. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was nice, but that's about it. Rooms were outdated and dirty…and did not pay attention to detail when cleaning the room. The toilet was not cleaned properly, our bedroom sides tables were sticky and our safe couldn't be fixed. Also, we were able to hear the other walking around right above us.

Spacious rooms, very clean, comfortable beds. Self-serve laundry from 8am-11pm with washers and dryers. Great for families, well supplied kitchen, 2 TVs, USB charging, even included fuzzy slippers for each person. Very good breakfast buffet with baked goods, fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, a pancake machine which kids loved. Excellent location about 10 minutes walk to Ottaviano metro station, 15 min walk to Piazza Navona. Very safe location with lots of restaurants within a few blocks. Will definitely stay here again.

My stay was very comfortable and relaxing. My room was spacious, modern and clean and the area is conveniently situated and quiet. The staff were very welcoming and professional. The I hope to stay at the Trianon Borgo Pio during any future visits to Rome.

The property was spacious, clean, and close to many good restaurants and sites of interest. This property occupies a small footprint, with lounge, public restrooms, and workout rooms on the lowest floor beneath the reception. The breakfast area on the 7th floor is exceptional with views of the city and the Vatican close by, and the food was very good. I loved how much thought was put into the design of the rooms for the best possible guest experience. For example - the bathroom had plenty of places to hang towels after use and shelf space for your things.
