Large beautiful, modern room with fantastic indirect lights. Balcony with a nice sea view. In the evening the lightning was a bit disturbing when sitting on the balcony as the lights circulate in a loop around the facade making it very bright a few seconds and darker (better) the next seconds. Breakfast with a good selection, even if our favourites werethe fried eggs, tomato slices and watermelon. Friendly and helpful reception staff.

For this price you couldn’t ask for more. 7 min walk from the center. Great base to see the island.
The beach 5 min from the hotel is not impressive at first glance with pebbles and stones but you get sand and clear water just 3 meter in. Until we started traveling around to the beauty spots we were spending lots of time there.

We were given a room that smelled like sewage and had not been properly cleaned before our arrival. Make staff were so incredibly rude, shockingly patriarchal, self righteous and unhelpful we had to leave for a better hotel and environment. The only acceptable thing about this hotel is the hotel manager who is a professional lady who agreed to refund the money for two out of three nights we were supposed to spend at the hotel. Everything else is utterly below standard, dirty to the point of making you physically sick, and to be avoided at all costs.

The room was nicely decorated, comfortable, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast included in the stay was great. It would cost you 20€ at a restaurant. The things that weren’t great- I very specifically selected and paid for a sea view it was more expensive than the non view rooms. They didn’t give us that room and very unapologetically told us someone else was in it. No refund for the difference was offered. Our room ended up being above the outdoor portion of the restaurant which got very noisy very early and the view was of an ugly rooftop. The other thing that wasn’t great was the cleanliness of the bathroom. I kept finding long black hairs in the sink and tub so I gave the floor a swipe with a wet towel and there were actually many of those hairs and the towel was very dirty after I wiped up. To be fair they let us in the room early because we were very jet lagged so they may have rushed the cleaning in order to be helpful.

The Palatino had a huge sign.
If you weren't sure where you were, all you had to do was to look for their sign.
If the parking lot was full, a valet would find a spot for you.

It’s too sad we can’t go to shipwreck Bay due to the rockfall, thank you for the information, staffs are helpful. There is a supermarket nearby, location is quite good, hotel room looks a little bit old style.

While this hotel was clean, but basic for the 4 stars given to this property. The food was very standard definitely not A La Carte. The staff were friendly on the whole, Anastasia in particular was very helpful. Now having said that this property cheated lied and quite frankly took advance of me as a single mother travelling alone with my son. I initial choose the hotel as it was in town, If you plan to visit in low season you will soon realise there is nothing open in the surrounding areas, so staying in town is essential. However once we had arrived and checked out the amenities, primarily access to beach and Tennis courts. The beach area is not safe rocky and steep with no access to sitting areaTennis courts are just a few minutes away, but be sure to bring your own equipment, as the courts are not on the properties grounds so nothing provided. In fact there is nowhere to sit out side unless you are a smoker, where a small compact area is provided at the back. After having spent a few days at this property, arriving on Thursday morning, I decided on Saturday that I would book somewhere else that had a pool for me son in enjoy, as he was getting alittle bored.I very honestly informed a Maria of my plans, and handed her my key also explaining that I did not want to loss it, and would be back, as the other property I had booked was outside town.Maria went on to explain that the following week would be Easter and they get very busy so if I was not returning to

Palatino hotel turned out to be a great choice for my wife and I. It had one of the better reviews for Zante, possibly the best. I can’t recall. But we had cheap flights, & the hotel is only 2.5km away from the airport. Anyway, it didn’t take long for us too know we had picked well. Anastasia at reception deserves a mention. She was absolutely lovely, and couldn’t of been more helpful throughout our stay. Room was clean, & good sized. Breakfast was buffet style, everything you’d want was there, hot or cold. The Greek yoghurt in particular was delicious! We felt we had the hotel pretty much to ourselves(first week of the season I believe), which was lovely, but you could tell the hotel was well equipped for being full. We plan to go again, maybe in September, that’s how much we liked it!

Staff was very friendly and reception staff were wonderful. We enjoyed our stay at Palatino and the included breakfast with our room booking was a plus. The hours for breakfast ran 7-10, which gave us time to get in an early breakfast before a tour or a later one when we decided to sleep in. Short walk to Solomos Square and surrounding restaurants.

We enjoyed the island very much, and Hotel Palatino made a great central location. We had a rental car, and arrived by ferry. Dont miss Shipwreck Beach and the Blue Caves!

The Palantino is ideally located very close to the town centre and to the beach. It was just a short walk into the town. My room over looked the hillside and was comfortable and did all it needed to do. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was nice. My only criticism is that the room was a little tired and dated but otherwise, a perfectly nice place to stay and would go back again should I ever find myself in Zakynthos town centre.

The hotel is in a good central location but far away enough from the primary roads to be quiet in the evenings. The room had a slightly dated feel but was always cleaned to a very high standard and it also had a very good aircon unit. The hotel reception staff were always extremely pleasant and helpful.

The hotel is a large and very modern (recently renovated I guess) building with every modern amenity one would want. There is no pool but then again there is a beach across the road.A superb breakfast and friendly staff make this a great choice
for Zakynthos. Public transport was very poor though and one needs to hire a cab to go to where the boats arrive or even to go to the public bus station.
