Hostel well located, near Nybrua tram stop, in a quiet zone. Staff are amazing and very helpful, and the rooms are clean and safe. There are no individual lockers on the rooms, just a cupboard with no lock options. To stay there is totally worth it.

For a hostel it is fairly quiet. If you stay out front you will have the tram rattling by, which means you can't keep the windows open at night. This will be a problem in summer

Great choice for hostel in Oslo; walkable, safe, nice enough.

Not the strongest wifi (wouldn't work in parts of room)

The Dormitory was very comfortable, Single Bed of 8 in one room. The noise inside is quite noisy. Its unisex. I thought its only female in one room. Im a bit concerned, so i didn't have a good night sleep. I didn't feel safe that night. It was better if I had the room for myself or if it was females only. It is what it is. I learned my lesson not to go budget.

It’s minimal services they gave us. We need to set up the sheets for the bed, they come to the room only when they pick up the garbage bags every day.But at least we can sleep tight in the beds in the big space. And place is very easy to access to the center of the city. No complaining, for the price, it’s good choice.

No safe place to store your luggage. There’s a room but anyone can go in really and no lockers in the room. So someone from the room can just take your luggage if you’re sleeping hard. For Oslo being such a beautiful city with expensive surroundings I was so surprised. I was so uncomfortable I left at 230am instead of my planned 4am to the airport.

Booked a single room an even if there was a nice vibe in the lobby amongst travellers the overall impression was not great. The staircase and elevator area smelled really bad, like cheese in the day and garbage in general in the evening. Room felt like a prison cell with a single bed and a table and a simple bathroom, it was alsp not very clean. For a cheap bunkbed in a dormitory i think this place is ok at the ”u get what u pay for” kind of view but the single toom isnt worth the money. For a 100-200 nok more u’d get an actual, nicely decorated hotelroom withva doublebed that u dont have to put linen on yourself and u might even have breakfast included, so def not worth the money for a single room. Also eoke up from the fire alarm that then stopped and no further information

Perfect place for a stop over! Clean convenient and easy with teenagers! Bunk beds comfortable and short walk to the old city. 5***** I recommand for a cheap stay in oslo!

Odors are not good on most roads between floors.
It is necessary to work more by improving the seating area on the reception floor.

booked a single room in the hostel more than once, my comments not for rooms with several beds. The single rooms are very basic, but with fridge/heater and cooking possibilities. extra for kitchenware. extra for bed-linen also, you have to fetch and make the bed. No reading light, no tv. ok wifi. beware that some rooms may smell of foodmaking, I have had a couple, indian and thai.. 😬 Nice cafe/reception area, good service. No breakfast, possible to buy in anker hotel nearby.

This is a great location. Close to everything nearby. Clean and friendly service. Definitely would come here again on my next trip.

Simple room, but also bigger than most hotel rooms you will pay this prize for. Wifi was a bit unstable in the room. The hotel has a large and lively foaje where people from all parts of the world hang out. Very central, only a few minutes walk to the city centre.

Great place for the price. The bed was actually comfortable and it was clean and centrally located.

The hostel provided a bare minimum of service. Guests were provided with linens to make their beds by themselves.
There was nothing in the room I.e, no shower he’ll, had to put a deposit to borrow pans and plates from the reception. The only good thing is that there cooking hub and refrigerator in the room if you would like to cook.
Checking in was also not that fast!

We were really impressed with the Anker Hostel, it served us for what we needed. We’d booked our flights and then saw the price of hotels!! Anker hostel came up on our search but never having stayed in a hostel, I wasn’t sure but it was a really good price and met our needs. We had a basic twin room which had a bathroom and a small kitchenette. No frills but comfortable beds, clean towels and sheets, quiet and clean. Some of the public areas, corridors, etc, were a bit worn but didn’t affect our stay, this is just wear and tear. Check in seemed a bit long winded but the staff were lovely and friendly. I would stay here again x

The linen were clean, but the room wasnt clean. There was a chewing gum on my bed.. Moisture in the bathroom. My room wasnt like the pictures at all, it was old

Considering Norway (or Scandinavian countries in general) has a rep for being expensive, I think it was reasonably priced for what I got.
I was only there for one night so I cant go too in depth, but was positive from what I experienced, I had a single room to myself, with a comfy bed, a bathroom and a kitchenette (I believe you can lend kitchen pots and pans for a deposit) it was like having my own little studio apartment in Oslo!
2.5
Flott beliggenhet, sevicevennlige, behjelpelig, blid og hyggelig betjening.

I have to mark this stay down as they had not logged my booking. Despite showing the receptionist my booking several times it took a while to get checked in. Otherwise this place is fine, good value and well located.

I loved it and plsn to stay here again

I booked a private room but was given a room for 6 (2 bunk beds 2 twin beds), which seemed weird and didn’t match the pictures when I booked. You have to get all your own linens to make the bed, even for the private room. The walls are thin and you can hear everything from the rooms around you.

It was quite cozy room, but appeared to be rather dusty

Veldig bra sted
Ikke noe problem her
