Always a good place to stay if you are in Cranbrook. Check out the Indian restaurant on the main floor... Great food.

AC wasn’t working so left window open: unfortunately, traffic was very noisy at times until early morning and felt it was too late to call for help down at the front desk!

Hotel was very clean. Our room faced the Main Street and was noisy. Upon inquiring about moving we were immediately relocated to an upgraded room at no charge. The staff were friendly, courteous and very helpful! Great place to stay❗️

On a week long road trip with my daughter and Cranbrook was our last overnight stop. We arrived late and the parking lot was pretty full. We checked in with no problems and walked to our room on the ground floor, opened the door and looked straight at 4 men sitting outside our balcony door. It was so shocking my daughter walked over and closed the curtains and tied them shut with an elastic. Maybe they should implement closing curtains. Being on the road for 9 hours we just wanted to get into bed. We checked the beds, as we always do, and found the sheets on one bed was stained. I didn't call the front desk because the stain was on the edge of the bed and when we arrived there was a gentleman standing at the front desk waiting for coffee that he requested over an hour ago. I did not want to wait. I just put a towel down and went to bed. The next morning, I got up and went to take a shower. I turned it on and then stepped in. As I was rinsing, I turned around to face the shower head and saw it was covered in grime. I gagged. It was horrible. Since I was already in the shower I quickly finished. My daughter passed on taking a shower. We packed up, went to the front desk to let them know and show them a picture and the lady said, oh no, I'll be sure to tell housekeeping. I said that's it? I was hoping for at least a sorry. She just awkwardly smiled. I left before I said something I would regret. I would NEVER stay here or recommend it!!!

Very comfortable stay at this Days Inn. Got a ground floor room as requested , check in/out was quick and efficient. Attached Indian restaurant is excellent.

I just want to say the staff for check in and check out were amazing. We were early as we came from Calgary, AB and they had a room available for early check in. I was able to check in two hours early, which was helpful as we had a wedding to attend at 4pm. Room we stayed in seems older or little outdated, first floor by the pool. Now it said it had AC when booking but don’t think it did or wasn’t working which is why we booked in the first place, it did get warm in the room. The beds were unfortunately uncomfortable felt very hard. Everything else was fine.

The front entrance was clean and decently modern. The room was not very clean. Floors looked like they hadn't been vecuumed close to the baseboards or under the bed. The pool area is nicer than the pictures show. Breakfast was very, very good. They would make an omlette for you. Bacon and sausage were served every day, which was awesome. Many choices for breakfast food.

The bed was comfortable enough. However the room was cold and could not be adjusted in the room. I eventually found an extra blanket in the hide a bed. There were also only 3 pillows. I called and requested 2 more (spouse has surgery and needed to be propped up) but had to go to the front desk where The young lady came up with one. We also noticed black mould around the bottom of the tile around the tub. The worst was the road noise all night long as the room was on the front of the building. Breakfast was fine and it was nice to get it in-house and not need to go elsewhere.

I enjoyed my stay at Day Inn Cranbrook. Room was relatively quiet and very clean. (little bit of road noise) People were nice and the breakfast was better than I have seen in other free breakfast. Hot breakfast with cook was available with room price.

Good value. Solid breakfast. A bit noisy, you can hear every door and conversation in the hallway. Nice room, good bed. No control of room temp. Thermostat did nothing, so if you need a cool room, might not be the place.

The Motel does have good potential and good staff, but requires more attention to amenities; better breakfast - better variety of fruit, health bread, cheese for the ommlets, meet other than pork; improvements to TV guide and more channels; better pillows - not hard or lumpy foam; better ac/heat controls. For clairity - the building is in good condition and clean

This hotel does something I've never seen in hundreds of nights in hotels. Each morning before eight they were banging on your door asking if you wanted any work done in your room. I could speculate about the reasons for this, but that's not the point. Nobody goes to a hotel to m have their four young children woken up by impatient staff. In addition, the question is, 'what would you like done?'. What would I like done - refresh the entire room like any reputable hotel would! There have been common area renovations that are positive, but staff are beating the crap out of the place ramming carts into corners and generally making the place look unkept. Work rooms such as laundry and others are left open with loose small pieces of garbage on the floor. There isn't much pride here and not worth selecting this hotel, it is not up to even a low standard of operatorship. The lone bright spot are the breakfast staff who are legitimately trying to do more than the average hotel. Management has opened an omelette station, and for those who enjoy this it is a real plus. The pool area is outside which is nice, but it is partially shaded even in the height of summer.

We appreciate the soap/shampoo/ conditioner dispensers however people who don’t have great eyesight can’t read which is which. We’ll be sure to take our own in the future even though it’s an inconvenience.

Rooms were super clean, check in was easy, staff friendly. If we had kids along, the game room they have would have been a big hit. We checked out before breakfast, so cannot rate that. Lobby is clean, tasteful and inviting. Parking was a little tricky as they were full. Some road noise. Mattress and sheets were nice. No complaints.

Beds were comfy in a very particular on beds. Only downfall was the stairway was closed due to the hotel shampooing the carpets so it made for a long wait for the 1 elevator.
