Great location. Close to main train station. Hotel about 5 minute walk.
Close to all Berlin has to offer. Brandenburg Gate @15 mins walk. Lots of restaurants and bars situated around the hotel.
Clean and tidy. Air con in room. Staff were helpful.
I would definitely stay here again when I return to Berlin.
I was on a tour and persuaded a fellow traveller to book a room here as his accommodation wasn't very nice.
4.1
Great location, near train, U/S-bahn,etc, convenient to theaters, lively restaurants on the riverfront
4.1
Nice clean hotel and a great central location.
4.1
The location is great. The room is old and bare.

It was our first time visiting Berlin with two teenagers. We stayed for two nights. I we were upgraded to a suite with river view and balcony which was fabulous. Room was spacious and comfortable with all amenities, the skier was particularly nice. The location is excellent, all main attractions are within walking distance. Subway and tram are just outside the hotel. One evening we had dinner at the Italian restaurant which was a delicious. Fantastic to sit outdoor at the river. Overall, I cannot fault the hotel, all staff were super friendly and helpful. Will stay there again on our next visit to Berlin!

The room is okay but the pictures seem much better.
The room doesn’t have a mini bar, iron board, closet space…
It’s more like a private hostel room than a hotel. And in the middle of the city center so expect huge amount of nose at night.
That being said the room is good enough, the bathroom is huge, the location is excellent and the breakfast tastes very good.

Great place

More than 1 normal pillow would have been great. Perhaps a pillow on the sofa too but otherwise can't fault. Thank you

We loved the location.
(Our room) had insufficient lighting in the bathroom sink/mirror area, and the handheld shower/sprayer didn’t work.
4.1
Location was fantastic, close to everything. We walked everywhere. You could hear tram but overall, I'd say room was quiet. No problem sleeping after day of sightseeing. Great bargain for heart of the city and love using local hotel rather than international brand.

Okay

A fantastic little hotel. Patricia was very helpful!

I didn't like the flooring in the room, or the wires hanging from the ceiling. No vending machines or places to eat at odd hours.
4.1
Hotel is part of an apartment building.

Great room with a nice view

We enjoyed our stay at Neuer Fritz Hotel in Berlin. The room and restorant were great and close to major attractions. The front desk employee Nikolas was very friendly and helpful with any request we had and we had many. We were happy with the hotel choice and hope to stay there again someday.

Thomas in the lobby was especially friendly, considerate and helpful. One of our blankets had a big stain but the service lady did replace it when I asked her. Super and convenient location.
4.1
1/2 the hotel has River views. The other half looks at roofs.
The shower was in the middle of the room.
The heat was off, with no instructions on how to start- there was a tablet, but it was uncharged.
Tv didn’t have connection to anything.
The hotel comped breakfast, but the room was not worth 159€

The hotel was very cool and it was not very full.
Although we arrived punctually, our room wasn't ready inmediatelly.
We had to wait more than half an hour until we've got the room that we desire.
It was a little wierd having an open bathroom in a room for three.
Our stay was very good and all the staff was nice too.
I would gladly come back, I hope you like my rap.
Thank you very much.

Amazing hotel. Great location and excellence service. Would book again.

Love it, good location, gentle service and very delicious breakfest.
Room was so quiet too 😄

We got ourselves a room, nice view to the canal but above of our room, we keep hearing kids running around, my husband couldn’t sleep, the next day he request for room change and the staff got us an upgrade to the suit. It’s slightly better as in with more amenities and newer, room size about the same but weird design, shower without a door, totally transparent. Staff was helpful and their Italian restaurant is fantastic!

Great location and very clean hotel. Close to restaurants and transportation. We enjoyed our stay!

Absolute joke. nothing against the hotel itself, because I never stayed there. I could not travel due to COVID restrictions. After spending two hours on the phone with Hotels.com, they promised to cancel the booking...instead, they charged me the full amount of the stay. Apparently they never heard of COVID variants or State Department restrictions because they "can't" reissue my vouchers when COVID again prevents me from travel. So I lost $700+ on this hotel stay and two other hotels in Europe. Never using hotels.com again!

The Spree Suite was super clean and modern with an open concept plan and a comfy bed. Lovely soaker tub to relax in at the end of a day. The best part is the location. Close to all the Berlin hot spots and great restaurants with a great view of the spree river. Would highly recommend.

The room was amazing. The view exceptional. It just took a long time to check in as the receptionist could not get her head around why there was 2 rooms on one booking.
4.1
1. It is NOT a hotel, but serviced rooms.
2. Old towels that even had holes in them!
3. The room was not cleaned after the first night.
4. Rooms unfinished: broken shower, broken window, the heating did not work (it was 9°C at night at chilly in the room), the tablet referred as a control system in the pictures was not present in the room.
5. No reception. No responses via call or e-mail to questions/support requests.
6. The rooms are allocated in the 3rd floor of a residential building, e.g. you share exactly the same old and not so nice elevator as the residents.
7. 7 days after complaining and still no reaction has been taken.
8. This "hotel" really ruined the atmosphere for a cozy weekend my couple an me were looking for!
9. Don't be fooled by the fancy pictures. For me: never again, for the price you can get a real hotel with breakfast in an equally good location in Berlin (!).
4.1
The design of the room is cool and it was very comfortable. Best was the fantastic view on to the river Spree. I found it very hard to find as the hotel had changed its name (to Neuer Fritz) and hadn’t notified me. But it’s great and I will stay here again.

Upon check in the guy at the desk showed us to our rooms and explained everything. Hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. The view of the river from my room was beautiful. The room was huge ! Rooms had the normal cups and plates and a kettle all you really need.
If I come back to Berlin I’ll be staying here again.

Hotel was very rundown. Paint was peeling, looked like there had been water leaks in the ceiling, view out of the window was a section of the roof and the other side of the building, could see into other peoples rooms. One night we came back a little after 11:30 pm and there was no one on duty at the front desk and the door was locked. We had to beg a server from the restaurant next door that was connected to let us through.
4.1
The hotel is not like the website. The reception area is just a desk. Clean enough but very basic. I wouldnt stay as a couple on your own its ok. As for location its great right close to the railway station and underground but you dont hear either. Right on the river some great bars and restaurants I would recommend Murphys bar and the piano bar great places. Its good value for money its cheap enough
4.1
Shabby rooms, lousy internet. Looks like it hasnt been renovated in decades. Furniture is probably from DDR days :)Positive points: confortable mattresses, good location close to many attractions
4.1
Arrived, no fuss, straight to room which was very tidy and modern, excellent location.
4.1
The hotel is undergoing major renovations, as the building needs it. The room was tired and dated but clean. However, the staff were amazing - the lady on reception went above and beyond the call of duty and was SO helpful. She deserves a special mention.
4.1
Very helpful and polite staff. Place was clean and comfortable.
4.1
The room was uninhabitable. Ive never done this but I checked out within 10 minutes and stayed at another hotel
