Beautiful hotel and lovely staff.
4.3
We love going back here and it never disappoints . Anytime there has been minor issues theyve been resolved efficiently. Lovely clean ,spacious rooms, sea view is always a bonus. Great food, friendly staff. Pool and leisure facilities also very good.there was a good draft coming from 1 of the window's looking out to sea, but we didnt mind as hotel rooms are often too hot and the sound of the sea is lovely plus the curtains are good quality. Noticed a few economical changes like disposable cups in bathroom to replace glass ones, no more bars of soap or mini shower gels its in refill squeezable bottles and no more robes in the rooms unless requested or at the spa. Beds /pillows slightly uncomfortable (2 singles pushed together) and pillows quite firm if u are used to softer..but we didnt complain.another great stay !

No pro shop for golf.
4.3
Nice location, hotel a little dated. Bar prices resemble restaurant and breakfast offering needs a overhall. Pool is great and ev charging onsite is handy.
4.3
A very pleasant and relaxing stay kn a beautiful location. The hotel is very clean and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly
4.3
Great stay with super massage
4.3
The staff are wonderful, the food was superb, the spa facilities need addressing and updates needed.
The bedrooms didn’t have any products and old hair dryers. No aircon or fans in the bathroom, heating wasn’t working.
Very comfy beds.
A great place with lots of potential.
4.3
Lovely location staff were attentive and friendly

Stayed at redcastle hotel on numerous occasios, best hotel ive ever stayed at ,ticks 11out of 10 on all points.cleanliness, efficency, location, food ,facilities and has the excellent staff, whom are eager to help, with anytime asked of them,.ive worked in a lot of countries and stayed at hotels all the time, but the redcastle hotel stands head and shoulders above them.

I paid £300 cash and my husband paid £69 on his card for a 2 night stay then the hotel proceeded to take the £369 out of my husband's account meaning we paid twice very very disappointed😞 and out of pocket twice
I booked another night through yourself, and my husband paid the amount on his card and the hotel proceeded to take the amount out again from my account meaning we paid twice AGAIN, VERY VERY ANGRY. wont be back

Beautiful setting on the coastline.
The twin room was spacious however with only a small window, it definitely needed a centre light/more lighting.
Bathroom was a good size, however, access to the in-bath shower was awkward.
Given there was a wedding on, the room was quiet and cosy.
A full length mirror is a requirement in any hotel room.
Beds very comfy.
4.3
Peaceful setting (apart from the noisy wedding guests at 3am)
Wifi wasn’t working in bedroom and network.
Food good but breakfast could be improved.
4.3

Great stay here.

The extractor in our bathroom didn’t work so we were moved to another (better) room without any fuss. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food in both the Captain’s Bar and The Edge restaurant was excellent. I would have no problem recommending this hotel.
4.3
Room was great size and very clean. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My main complaint was that the glasses at breakfast were tiny which was quite inconvenient that i had to refill every time i needed a drink. Overall great price for what you get.

all good

Enjoyed our stay over a busy saturday. The staff from check in to check out and rhe var/restaurant staff were fab. Dinner, daiquiris and brekkie was beaut. Room was clean and comfy but very very warm even with the window open and radiator turned off.
Only thing we didnt care for was changing facilities for the pool/spa. The only private area was the toilet cubicles which were saturdated and no hooks to hold our clothes. Would be handy if guests were allowed to change in their room as robes are provided. Would defo stay again.

Hotel was clean an staff were really friendly, definitely would recommend it

Fantastic location. Attentive staff. Good food and drink options.
The balcony rooms are special. Amazing spaces with stunning views of Lough Foyle.
Spa was very good also with a good range of treatments very much enjoyed by my other half.

Had we known the experience that was about to befall us before checking in an hour early, we wouldn't have bothered.
We weren't given a check-out time and had read online it was midday. Turns out, it was 11:00.
When we got to our room we found the temperature to be that of the faulty reactors at Chernobyl. I can only assume they had left the heating on for about a decade to get it that hot. We had to leave the window open as a storm blew in just to cool down.
I have never been to prison, but I can only assume the showers they have aren't actually allowed to be as bad as the shower in the room. A 4* hotel this is not.
We were advised to go to the restaurant, rather than the grill for dinner. We took up our table and were then ignored, with several other tables around us (who arrived after us) getting water for their table and their drinks order taken. We waited for around 15 minutes before deciding, frankly, it wasn't worth the time. A similar thing happened at breakfast the following morning.
So, we went to the grill, all was well until dessert, when the waitress asked "what is this?" when handing us our desserts.
We also ordered and orange juice and lemonade, which came in two separate glasses. That just about sums it up.
The pool water is tepid, there was no water in the bucket for the sauna and they had no time to complete both treatments my partner had booked in the spa.
There was no malice, but it's clear there is a huge training gap for most of the staff.

Black furniture had dirty marks on it. In the spa was left in the treatment room and no one ever came back. Also had booked a spa and afternoon tea experience and as the treatment ran over as nobody came back was late for afternoon tea. Also was confusion on who or where to pay for this experience. My email had stated £377 and then was charged £413.92 on arrival

Rooms are spacious. Staff is very friendly. Beautiful property

4.3
Lovely hotel and friendly staff,
room prices a little on the expensive side. Enjoyed my stay food was great.
Thank you.

The Captains Bar was excellent though you could extend the menu a bit. Perhapsa smaller cheese board woud be nice. The haddock and chips were supperb. We eat in the dining room on Tuesday night and we were disappointed, the extra cost for the Prawn Mayonaise seemed rediciyoulos as was the extra cost for the Duck. we would certainally recomend people to stay at your hotel. The twin bedroom was excellent.
4.3

We enjoyed our stay at the Redcastle. The room was spacious and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. We got a special treat of watching fireworks from our room as a wedding was celebrated at the hotel. We would definitely stay there again.
