An absolutely excellent value. The room was fantastic. Thank you

The owners welcome us, the rooms were clean and we had what we needed. The building is older, however the rooms have been upgraded to accommodate us comfortably. The area was quiet; no street noise. If we were to travel through that area, we would go back there again.

It was a good experience overall!

Nice place for a decent price

This hotel has definitely seen better days. Not a clean room and no amenities. Staff had trouble with English and all transactions occurred through a glass portal even though it has a lobby. Only stayed 1 night.

Good deal for the price.

Rooms were extremely clean and beds very Comfortable

Chose to stay here because other places in the area were much more expensive or had bad reviews. This was an excellent bargain, nice and clean bedding and new shower. Smelled a little musty because A/C was not running before my arrival. Worst part was the small "not quit dead yet" roach that appeared when I flipped the couch cushions. Older place with minimal updates and it shows. Still a bargain if you dont mind a few rough edges.

Pros: it was convenient to base, it was cheap because i could use my OneKey cash, it was clean and updated in the room and they were friendly
Cons: baby roaches in the dresser drawers, no coffee maker, pillows were flimsy

Room like an oven. AC inoperable. They knew it and gave us the room anyway. They said NO refunds call Expedia We had to find another Inn

The motel is old, tired and musty, but convenient for anyone biking the Chief Ladiga/Silver Comet railtrail, which was the context for my stay. The motel is about one mile from the trailhead and there are many options within a short walk from the motel for calorie loading to fuel getting back on the trail the next day. I appreciated that the guy manning the front desk, seeing I was a sweaty guy who had just climbed off a bicycle, without a word or any request on my side, handed me a bottle of water.

Very nice, spacious, clean room. No negative comments on the room itself. Clean linen and bedding. Air worked great once turned on, so quiet warm at first however did not take too long to cool off. The front desk staff was pleasant however did not exactly know where the room was, top parking lot or lower parking lot. Asked another staff member and was still directed to the wrong location. However, again, very friendly.

cleanliness

Very little toilet paper. I had to go to the front office to get an extra roll right after I checked in. No walk in lobby. Had to ring an electric buzzer to get service and speak to the employee on duty through a small window. Made you think the area was not safe. The employee on duty was not proficient in English and hard to understand when I asked him a couple of questions.

it’s a older motel but the room was clean and the bed was decent I would stay here again

Sure, here's a 2-star review for McClellan Inn Anniston:
---
I recently stayed at McClellan Inn Anniston, and my experience was just okay. The inn was relatively clean and felt safe, which are important factors for me. However, the management was extremely rude, which negatively impacted my stay. Their unprofessional behavior made it difficult to feel welcome and comfortable. Overall, while the cleanliness and safety were acceptable, the poor management left much to be desired. I would not choose to stay here again.

A bit outdated and light cigarette smell in the room. Stayed for 1 night and price was o.k.

I stayed here on an out-and-back of the Silver Comet and Chief Ladiga trails. This hotel is close to the trailhead and has a good Mexican restaurant next door. Wal Mart, McDonald's and a couple other places are in walking distance. Will stay here again on the next trip. Updated rooms, clean.

Well, it was a last minute booking around 11:30p.m. I was headed to SC from Abilene, TX and decided to get a room bc my neuropathy was bothering me. I arrived right at midnight and there was a buzzer to ring bc you check in from a window while waiting outside. I wasn't disappointed in checking in. No cheerful greeting but I understand it being late. Everything was clean. I like that it is 1 story so you can park at the door to your room. Very quiet at night. I do believe they might need to update some mattresses. It was firm but lumpy like they might have been there for a while. So if you have issues in sleeping and need a soft mattress due to disability or arthritis in shoulders or hips you might not get much rest. It could have been just my body but that is something I would like to mention. It was advertised that a coffee/tea maker would be in the room but there wasn't one and I need coffee as soon as my eyes open. Would I stay again probably not just due to needing a softer mattress and no coffee maker. If you just need a clean place to crash, that is what this is.

Room was big and the bathroom was excellent. Very clean and spacious room. Loved the fact that the room has mini fridge and microwave. Staff was very friendly. The only thing we didn't like was the bed. Was a little too firm but thats our own issue not theirs. I would stay here again.

There were live and dead bugs all over! Broken furniture, some kind of sludge in the fridge, and pubic hair in the bed and all over the bathroom!

Stay was nice. Room was fairly clean. No issues.

The owners were very nice and took pride in their property, quick to respond to requests for towels and other necessities

Very close to restaurants.

No clock, ironing board but no iron, small bathroom. The best thing about the location is that was quiet around the area.

Close to Ft McClellan where the event was taking place. Property was clean and very reasonable in price.

Easy check in, very convenient to the MTB races. The bedsheets need an update as there were cigarette burns/holes in the bedspreads in the non smoking room. Also there wereno blankets.
Otherwise it was what you'd expect for the price. It was quiet and we fid not ferl unsafe.

My car was hit in the parking lot overnight resulting in significant damage. When I called the hotel to inquire about security camera recordings the woman answering the phone refused to tell me when the manager would be in, wouldn't tell me if there were security cameras, and hung up on me. Extremely unprofessional!

the first room that we were changed out of because the t.v. didn't work was dirty.

Bathroom was dirty, walls dirty, covers stunk, holes in walls, no coffee pot, no blow dryer, no iron. The owner was cleaning a room with gloves on came to front desk to check me in with those gloves on, touched my license with those gloves on. We left after the first night. Went to a different hotel. They advertised as new owner and newly remodeled. Well our room was not remodeled. I would like to get my money back for the second night. I took pictures of the room.
