We really liked the location, the service, and the restaurant (for dinner). We also didn't over-pay as we were visiting Florence during off-peak period (even though the city was bustling!). We struggled with the slow and tiny elevator as check-in and breakfast were on the 5th/6th floor - although we were 'lucky' our rooms were only one floor up. Although the rooms were quite small and my bathroom was tiny, we didn't spend much time in our rooms. The view of the Ponte Vecchio outside our rooms was nice to have. The only major issue we experienced was with the lack of hot water in one of our rooms. (My friends had to come to my room to shower.) The staff did come to verify but the issue was not fixed during our stay. All-in-all, we had a nice stay and would recommend the hotel as it was clean and well located.

Great location but the shower was absolutely horrible and the elevator was really hard to use because of how slow and small it was. The rooftop restaurant was great! The cacio e pepe was so delicious!!

Outstanding location. Difficult to find and you cannot take your car. If you do, it’ll cost you an arm and leg 40 Euro per day
Paolo was smaning. Waking up at 3 am to help us then move our car in the am to the garage!!!!

There is always someone at the front desk, which is appreciated. The area is GREAT for shopping and experiencing nightlife. Also convenient to walk to sites. I would definitely recommend Hermitage!

Staying was good, unick breakfast, elegant room, nice and clean. Don't like little bit of noise at night. Washroom needs to be little bit more clean.

Location is epic! It is noisy until midnight so def not a hotel for children, but for adults (especially those who don’t go to bed early) it’s just perfect! Great view from the beautiful roof terrace. People not staying in the hotel were coming to use the restaurant up there as they had heard or read about it but it still wasn’t crazy busy. Lovely smart interiors and great for money. Beautiful hotel!

A beautifully appointed hotel in an incredible location with a very friendly, helpful staff! Breakfast was more than expected in a beautiful dining room. Reception is on the top (5th) floor and is accessed either via stairs or a very small elevator. Navigating the floors with your luggage can be a little challenging as the elevator can only accommodate 2 people with their bags at a time. The elevator does not come to street level—so all luggage must carried up to the first floor (“0”). Not a problem, but perhaps a consideration for those who require assistance, especially if traveling alone. Any inconveniences are quickly forgotten once you have encountered the very accommodating staff, the adorable rooms and the jaw-dropping location! I recommend a long stay!

I’m surprised people rate the hotel as “wonderful.”
The hotel is located in a good area, with view of the famous “Ponte Vecchio”.
The staff is very nice and attentive. The breakfast is good. The room and decor look dated.
The room we stayed was very noisy! It looks like all the Trash Pick Up Trucks were there in the middle of the night picking up trash from the hotel and the restaurants in the area. Besides a bicycle station, where people come to drop them off at certain time in the night. The room was very cold and no heat. We used towels to cover the gaps in the window to keep the cold air away. Luckily they left extra blanket in the closet. The rooms have no heat only AC. The TV is very small and the volume is programmed to go to a certain number. You can’t change that. So, if you need hearing aids, put them in the highest volume to be able to watch TV.
It’s a hotel for young people who travel with back packs. Not recommended at all to elderly people. There is no doorman to help with luggage and people have to go one floor up on stairs carrying luggage and then take the elevator on the second floor to reach the lobby on the 5th floor.

Superb location, within walking distance of the Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi, Duomo, and all major tourist spots. In the heart of a hundred dining options and lovely staff with lots of suggestions.

Best location in Florence. We were able to walk to all the museums and attractions. Every kind of shop and restaurant.

It’s a good choice if you want to be near from City Down Town. It’s not easy to find and you have to carry your bags 2 levels to get the lobby

Great hotel, literally 20m from the Ponte Vecchio. Enjoyed our stay, room was great size for three travellers. Close to all attractions in Florence. Lovely decor. Loved the wallpaper in the lift. Good breakfast, nice variety. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is in the centre of the city.

Immediately as you exit onto the fourth floor there is a serious stench of dog urine. Was difficult on the first night as we kept smelling it and was even more prominent the second you open the door first thing in the morning.

The location is convenient—you can walk to everything. The beds are comfortable. The fifth floor breakfast room and lounge are charming with nice views. As with any city location there is noise.

Fantastic staff, clean room and very charming. Perfect location, extremely safe and easy to get to from the train or tram station. Very happy with the price and would definitely stay here again.

A quaint but lovely property. Great location. The hotel has a lovely lounge for socialising and feeling very at home. Very supportive staff.

The hotel is centrally located and gets and outstanding for that. No matter where we wanted to go it was a short walk back. However, know that this is the loudest hotel I have ever stayed in!!! I stayed in room 415 below the restaurant kitchen and across from a common bathroom that got a lot of use. There is so much noise until after midnight with the kitchen clean up and then again at 7am for breakfast. There was also random hammering on things in the building. So be aware of those before you book and enjoy your stay if you chose to stay here. I would probably stay here again but know I wouldn’t get much sleep.

No elevator, reception on 5th floor
very dingy room, toilet didn't flush, so we could not stay there.

An amazing hotel literally 50 feet from the Ponte Vecchio. The staff was very friendly and accomodating, and the restaurant on the terrace has spectacular views of Florence.

The WIFI was intermittent and my husband needed to work. It was also very very noisy until very very late at night.

Booked a stay at this hotel and had no communication with what we found when we showed up on the day. Found that the hotel had overbooked and wanted to transfer us 20 minutes north of the location of this hotel. This hotel is right next to the ponte vecchio. I had to complain to hotels.com and the front desk for them to finally accommodate us. They finally gave us a room after 3 hours of sitting around.

Right from our arrival the experience was exceptional. We were greeted by Paolo, who made us feel right at home, and the homey feel was felt throughout our stay. Thank you, Paolo, Federica, and Vitoria. This is defently our go to in Firenze. Ciao Ciao
