Another good visit to this property. The new exterior paint was a change (from Nassau pink to white) but the experience was good. I had to depart early due to a health issue and I was told I could expect some % as a refund (TBD). Keep up the good work! Hope to visit in "2025" !

Nice hotel within a short walk to the beach along with a few restaurants & shops. The room was very spacious & clean & the breakfast was great.

Lovely hotel and friendly staff

After three days room key had to be reactivated. Had to ask for clean towels even though protocol was followed per check in instructions.

Great location. Room was big. Could hear the guests in the hallways

Rooms were excellent, clean and quality supplies - towels, soaps, shampoo, lotion! Front desk was quick to check in and friendly. The breakfast was perfect, good selection and plenty provided.

Outstanding place for a little R&R. The entire staff was amazing and most courteous. The breakfast every day was excellent and the property clean and the bed was comfortable. Already planning on returning. Next door to Sliders Restaurant which was a plus. Thank you.

This is our fifth time staying at this hotel. If we do a short trip to Amelia Island, we always gravitate towards this hotel because of its affordability and its location (across the street from the beach and across the street from a local casual beach restaurant and a Dairy Queen). Breakfast included, which is always nice - eggs, sausage, pastries, make your own waffles, a couple fruit choices… best value of a hotel we have found!

Location was good, hotel was nice, however we were very concerned that the side entrance was not secured and left unlocked 24/7. Side front door had keypad entry but it did not work.

I reserved a room the night of my wedding. When i got into the room and layed in the bed i was eaten alive by fleas. To my surprise when i went to the front desk about it they offered me no compensation for my problems and refused to give me a refund. The manager has repeated me ignored me and my request for a refund. Very disappointing on my wedding night. Never again.

Nice place to stay with beach access accross the street. Restaurants nearby.

Great staff. Big shout out to Josie that did our check in and was so friendly.
Good place to stay right across from the beach on Amelia island. Loved our stay.

The staff were fabulous. The room could use some extra cleaning such as light fixtures, which were loaded with dust. Exhaust fan was dusty. Breakfast was offered at no charge but the paper plates provided, was barely large enough to hold the waffle. Once we added syrup and tried taking it to a table, syrup dripped everywhere on the floor. Need much larger plates which would help in the cleaning.

The hotel was nice. It’s just across the street from the beach. Our room was clean. There’s a few things that need maintenance attention. The breakfast was very good. The pool was nice. No hot tub.

The hotel had a friendly desk lady. Helped to guide me to our room. Bed was comfy, pillows nice, ac, kool. Across from beach so had no beach view. Good enough tho.

Nice hotel, good breakfast. Goid service. Lovely hot showers. The only complaints was the bed and pillows and thin walls.

Our room was not as advertised. Our room was advertised with an armchair and ottoman. My husband is a disabled combat veteran and cannot sleep laying down due to being shot in the lower back. The staff said they did not have rooms chairs like what was shown, only wooden kitchen chairs. I asked to be refunded as they did not have the rooms as advertised. They refused and said they could give us a sofa bed, for an additional $150. We declined that offer and asked to be refunded. After an hour of back and forth with the hotel, and hotels.com, they agreed to refund one night. They refused to refund both nights because they claimed my husband was in the room for an hour while we negotiated back and forth. But, my husband was actually in our car the entire time. After agreeing to refund us one night, I asked to be given a receipt for one night, and the female manager said no, grabbed the room key off of me, and said leave the property. Thankfully the Hotels .com rep was still on the line and heard her. He apologized for our behavior and credited our account so we could get another hotel.

Waited for an hour to check in because room wasnt ready at 4:00 as promised. Mgr finally upgraded the room. Room smelled horrible, like ammonia.

I am not sure where anyone who rated this a 10 is staying. This place is certainly showing its age. One of the elevator's was down. There was a gigantic hole in my curtain and the room was very basic. It was cleanish.

The hotel was in a nice location with just a couple of restaurants within walking distance. The hotel was dated, walls were thin so we could hear people in the next room and children crying across the hall. The breakfast was ok with limited seating. The room was fine and clean.

Very easy check in, the room was perfect and close to everything.

We always enjoy our stay at Amelia Hotel at the Beach! We have stayed there several times over the past couple of years and have never had any complaints. The rooms are clean, the beds and pillows are comfortable and the staff is down to earth and very nice! The free breakfast is awesome!

Hurricane Milton was approaching and had to evacuate Fort Myers. Drove 11 1/2 hours to get to Jacksonville. Was told you couldn't enter the island and no one answered the phone when I called. I believe that the cancelation policy should be disbanded bc of this situation.

It was exactly what I needed. Close to everything. I would stay there again.

Sheets had stains on the 1st room put into a 2nd room sheets comforter all just old and worn the night attendant gave us another bed spread which had black and red stains the shower curtain in room 212 has blood looking stains on them which I have pictures and lastly we woke to a big bug which I took to the front desk. Walls are thin we had to get the night clerk to go next door at 1:30 A:M to ask room 210 to turn down their Tv I was promised a full refund for both rooms we rented and it still have posted to my credit card

Shower did not work. Wrong size coffee filters were ordered for in room maker and they knew and put them in anyway. Put up with a barking dog down hall. Annoying! Ceiling was crumbling apart in room

I was traveling with my eighty seven years old mother, therefore I called the hotel prior to making the reservation to make sure their bathroom had walk-in showers. I was told all the rooms had walk-in showers, what it turned out to be a big lie.
Once at the hotel I was offered a chair for mom to use in the shower, but that never happened
Will never go there again
No a fan of liars

We had no chairs to sit on in our room, we had to sit on the bed the whole time we there and the power went off two times which made it get a little hot in our room
