I checked in for a 2 night stay, when I went to use the bathroom I could easily see that someone had done a number 2 before I checked in and the toilet had not been cleaned. At ALL. The floor was also dirty, hair was all over it and the back of the toilet. Underneath the sink I could see what looked like a patch of blood. I went straight to the front desk and asked for someone to come and clean the bathroom right away. Which they did. I had to leave for the evening, when I returned that night and pulled back the covers to get into bed, I could tell the sheets hadn’t been cleaned either. There was a spot of blood on one of the pillowcases, and hair all over the sheets too. Went straight to the desk, asked for clean sheets, which I was given, but told they were out of comforters. Thankfully I had a blanket and my own pillow in my car, and a clean pillowcase in my luggage. The lady at the desk was nice, she profusely apologized, said they had had other complaints and were blaming new cleaning staff. Apparently the staff weren’t cleaning at all, that’s my assessment. I was told she was giving all the information to the manager and they would do their best to give me a discount or a refund. When I checked out, I was not given either. Still have the full charge for the room on my credit card. I will never stay here again. I would have asked for a different room or checked into another hotel, but Rapid City was busy. I’m so disgusted by the state of that room and no refund.

I stay at this location every time I travel back home to rapid city. The check in was smooth but soon after it was awful. The toilet was plugged and wouldn’t flush. Went to office to ask for a plunger. Apparently they don’t have any at this location!! Shortly after asking for a plunger the front desk lady brought a toilet brush to the room and said “maybe this will work” it DID NOT WORK!! Knowing it was a sold out night at the hotel and lots of other hotels were also sold out and I had this reservation well in advance I had 2 choices at this point. Turn around and go home 6 hours or go to a near by store to buy a plunger. I bought one fixed the toilet on my own. Went to fold out the couch for the kids to sleep and no bedding for it in the room. The plastic that was on the mattress had a lot of hair all over it. The front desk person was rude when asking for any extra bedding because there was none in room. Shower also had hair all over in it. This is just a few things!! Again it was either go home 6 hours or stay and enjoy our time as much as possible for the reasons we came for which was for my twins birthday and my best friends recognition he worked hard for.

Shout out to Brandy at the front desk! welcomed us in with her very upbeat fun personality! Free shuttle to and from airport its recommended to book yourself in advance which front desk can provide number. Room was spacious, clean, close to dining and shops, beds were comfy complimentary coffee in lobby and some breakfast. Grounds are well taken care of. I also like that they repainted the outside and added nice plants to compliment the exterior.

The hotel was a little “Scuffed up” but was very clean and quiet. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Comfortable beds. The area felt safe and there were plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. Breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast.

The hotel as a good place for the money. We had to call the front desk our last night because it sounded like gymnast working on a floor routine or a WWF fight and throw down going on above us. It slowed for a while and resumed. It finally quieted around 11pm and then resumed at 7:30 the next morning.

I prepaid for my room and then the hotel recharged my card. Hotel was refusing to issue credit since it was a “non refundable” reservation. Even after showing the double charge they kept saying it was non refundable. After a couple of messages with customer service here they were able to get the hotel to issue credit. The room was great and I thought I had found a good place to stay in Rapid but after getting the run around from the hotel staff I will not be using again.

We arrived to find a hole punched our door. Red stains all over the floor. Day 2 plumbing issues. Day 3 we were locked out of our room. Key stopped working. We told staff we would be gone all fay so they could fix it. Came back 12 hours later to find no one fixed anything. Had to find staff to fix the key. Next day & final day our keys stopped working again. Had to have our keys rekeyed 5 times during our stay. Breakfast was for not. Mind you the manager was sweet but seemed streched a bit thin. The beds are comfy.

I enjoy staying here on soccer trips, its more than two beds like most hotels. There is a living area to hang out in as well. I would recommend it to those with families.

This hotel absolutely AMAZING. The rooms are spacious and luxurious for a fair price. I am usually Marriott girl but i will always look for this hotel brand! Beautiful and classy indoors and outdoors. Activities for guest adult and kids. Fabulous breakfast and very relaxing. The one thing I’m sorry about is not trying this hotel before. Trust me is better than any Marriott or Hilton and Hyatt. Again the staff are so very friendly and helpful! Don’t worry about it now you won’t be sorry

Great stay. Rooms are big. Comfortable. Good AC. Shower faucet leaked but the shower was hot and good. Some wear and tear on the furniture and cabinets. But everything worked fine, including the stove. Good amenities, definitely would stay again, especially for the price!

No one at the desk to check us in. Bathroom was out of body wash in the dispenser. A used travel bottle was left in the shower. There were dirty handprints on the bathroom door. We weren’t provided enough towels for our party. There were no towels in the pool.

Overall our stay was excellent! The rooms were clean and the hotel was quiet. But there are a couple of things that should be pointed out, I don’t believe this is a direct reflection on the property management itself, but more on staff. We checked in on August 6th, we were very impressed with the staff, our room and the cleanliness of the hotel. The breakfast was great, clean and well stocked our first couple one days (August 7th & 8th). Staffing appeared to be different the 9th and 10th and that is where we saw the issues. The breakfast area was low on food, the coffee ran out, the garbage as overflowing and the tables and breakfast area were sticky and not cleaned up. One staff member came to make coffee after a guest alerted her that it was empty. She then went to help make more egg patty’s, (the food prep area was right off of the dining area) and I watched her handle the eggs that she was preparing to heat up, with her bare hands. There was no yogurt or bagels on either of those days as well, things just look neglected. Coffee was free all day, so I came for coffee after lunch, the breakfast area was still very unkempt. The trash was beyond overflowing, the counters were still full of crumbs and spills and the coffee was running very low again. Would I recommend this place or stay here again? Absolutely! But my hopes are for our next visit, that the things that needed improvement are addressed and corrected.

No real frills but really comfortable, clean, we had a full kitchen.... and the pool and hot tub were clean and the temperature in the pool room was nice and warm and the hours for the pool were fantastic. We really enjoyed staying here and hope to come back.
