The AC unit inside one of bedroom started to leak all over the floor. It kept my daughter up all night and she slipped on the water. Thank God she was able to hold on to something. The problem was reported to staff and I wasn’t even spoken to compensate the lack of sleep for my daughter and the issue of water all over the room. I was disappointed.

The hotel has definitely improved greatly since covid. buffets and restaurants excellent and staff was wonderful. Thanks we will return

Access to all the restaurants was restricted, the breakfast at the nicest restaurant was with a propertu seller.

Good: Fairly priced. Excellent service by waiters, cleaning staff.
Bad: Although it resembles a senior retirement community, the extremely steep roads and stairs require you to be a mountain climber. Don't expect the elevator to be working. The imperious office staff will probably not speak English and will remind Americans of a DMV.
As in Cancun, Los Vegas, and other vacation paradises around the world, beware of bait and switch on site hard-sell realtors.
This is a wonderful resort with plenty of activities for young well-to-do Mexican families. I'm happy for them!

I’ve made repeated reservations, to Pacifica and always enjoy the staff and amenities the spa service is outstanding in Ixtapa hotels

Two out of four days without internet in the room then you charged me an extra 400mx. Room key did not work properly. Changed the cards out a couple times. Steak quality poor at el faro. I paid $388cdn a night for this resort and expected a lot more. Excellent service and view.

Way too many stairs!! Bad knees or bad legs? Do not go here! Anywhere you want to go on the property requires climbing or descending stairs.
There are NO elevators! Entryways are all outside.
The employees were all nice 👍, I enjoyed the fresh food, weather was perfect, bathrooms were always clean. Just too many stairs for old knees.

People were really nice and helpful in any thing you need it and very good service

Property overall nice but lacks safety feature such as anti slip strips for stairs. More hand rails needed. Service was very good and the restaurants were wonderful.

The staff is fantastic, friendly and efficient! They make you feel welcome and will assist you with any needs, even before you know you need something! The location is beautiful! The rooms are comfortable and relaxing.

Great location and very beautiful but there were no sidewalks from our room to the beach and the road was steep. Room was ok but bedroom was dark and little closet room.

The property was beautiful and well maintained. We had a king suite that was very clean and well maintained throughout our stay. A couple of negatives about the room - We could not get hot water in the shower on any day. The bed is very firm/hard and the pillows were mushy due to chip foam filling. The lock on the patio door kept jamming and took some fiddling to open and close however we did not use the patio that much. We stayed in the spa area which was very quiet and away from music and the usual daytime activities. The pool there was wonderful and again mostly quiet. The service for food and drinks at any of the pools was excellent. We ate at several restaurants and the food and selection was very good. The beach was very nice and even though it was quite a distance from the area where we stayed the shuttle service arrived quickly to our door every time we left the room. We never had to wait. The staff on the property were very friendly and helpful in spite of the language barrier on many occasions. The property is very large and built in and around very steep hills. We enjoyed the walking but if someone had mobility issues or struggled with walking up hill in the heat then they would need to consider another property. Over all we enjoyed our stay and would go back.

The resort is beautiful and the service provided by the staff is wonderful. The staff throughout the property wants to help guests and enjoy being of service. The resturants offer a wide selection and is good. The El Farro overlooks the bay and is beautiful at night. The resort is built in the hills and walking could be a challenge for some. We walked and it was good exercise. The resort offers nice vans available to take guests to their building. Still some stairs to rooms. There are timeshare invites and after several declines they did not pursue. The rep was very courteous. The weather was a consistant mid eighties and sunny. Wonderful vacation and will go back.

This property is unique in that it embraces true Mexican culture from the friendly staff, always willing to cater to your needs, villas are exceptional, clean & comfortable. Food is of average to good quality. Beach front palapas offer a great beach experience. This property would benefit by having the two on-site restaurants open each evening. Currently they are not. There are good restaurants nearby & market facilities are good in nearby Zihutanjeo & Ixtapa. Will certainly visit this place again. It is a timeshare property but guests are not hasselled.

Good overall experience. Negatives were not very friendly or helpful reception upon check in and WiFi was so slow it was basically useless and some portions of facilities were not working. Apart from reception, very friendly and attentive staff.

Have stayed here many times trading timeshare, wish internet booking made some of the nicer rooms available. That being said, the room was clean and comfortable with that outstanding view! Note: the only rooms with the sea view are the "Junior Club" rooms. Others have golf course views. This a busy, almost frenetic, resort with lots to do. Great for kids. And you can find quiet spots. All inclusive, and the food is really pretty good with a lot of variety. Overall, a fun place to go.

Nice place, beautiful beach. Multiple restaurants to choose from. Very friendly staff. Service on the beach was a bit slow.

The resort is a beautiful place and the weather is amazing, The servers on the beach are amazing, fast and efficient, beach food is 👍. The rooms were very clean and done up on time. Some issues that we had was the cable tv, the Gondola is out of service for major repairs. Which I totally understand, but maybe it should of been done in low season. The La carts are amazing but please speed up the service and not have a 3 hour meal. 1 to 1 1/2 hours would be plenty.

Staff are excellent! Concierge Napoleon is all about your experience. A lacarte restaurants were amazing. Will be back again for the third time.

Pacifica Resort is actually a time share, but it is easy to avoid listening to sales pitch. Many buildings on the beautiful grounds, which are all different levels of comfort. Excellent food at the 4or 5 restaurants on the property. The vans are prompt and will drive you up and down the hill if you do not care to hike between the beach, pools, restaurants, or front gate. Napoleon is great at helping to navigate reservations, tours, and anything you need. This is not recommended for handicapped as everything is up and down a big hill, but people were great and lots of activities besides sitting on the beach under a shade and being served.

I've been going to Pacifica for years and every year is better than the last. It's like coming home. Amazing service , security staff, and Napoleon makes sure your stay is nothing but the Best!!! He's a one man show scheduling everything from dinner, to last year my son's engagement!! Flawless as always!!!

We were surprised by our room because the golf suites photo was a little different from actua but it was clean and quiet. The service from management to maintenance was second to none. Good service is what sets the Pacifica apart.
The food at the tupilane and moon bar at the beach was very good. The grills and bbqs were staffed by pros.
Our bartenders, waiters and servers all were helpful and kind. My wife and I have reasonable expectations and they were exceeded. We had a couple dinners that did not come up to the standard that was set by every other dinner. If you are concerned about food quality, hygiene and service then the Pacifica is a great choice. Yes 5 stars is deserved based on our experience.

Napoleon is simply the best concierge we ever had the privilege of meeting in our 19 trips to Mexico. Pacifica Ixtapa Resort is an amazing place and the crew that takes care of you is even better. They all go above and beyond to make you feel like royalty. Thankyou everyone that made this trip the most memorable one yet and can't wait to see you all again. Muchas Gracias!!!

We stayed near the Spa in a fabulous room with a view of the Pool, golf course, and very nicely manicured grounds.
We were all inclusive and enjoyed 4 a la carte restaurants. The restaurant El Faro was amazing with a great menu and a breath taking view of the entire Ixtapa beach. The resort's concierge, Napoleon, was very professional and was available to assist us with all our needs or services. Transportation around the resort was easy with vans running all around the site.
