Only a 2 night stay on a 4 day trip. Suited our needs and comfortable, good breakfast. Would use again for a similar trip.

Our stay was amazing. Lovely staff, everyone smiling and friendly. The room was very spacious and clean and in good condition. Breakfast was cooked to order. We stayed with our dog and she loved it too

To be honest it felt like demolition was not far away, the whole place was in poor condition, we had two rooms with no hot water and one shower that did not work at all. It was very expensive for what it was- the bar did not even have any beer - do not stay here

This review is fairly irrelevant as it closed for good a few days after we left. I felt sorry for the staff as they were given very little notice. The bar and restaurant were closed during my stay but they did honour the breakfasts that we booked

We stayed here with our son who’s 1 year old. In the morning at breakfast we asked for a high chair. One high chair was already being used so they went to get another and nobody appeared back. We asked again and still no high chair. Before we left we asked at reception why nobody came back to us to be told they didn’t have anymore high chairs. This is a large family hotel and could only provide one high chair for the whole place which is shocking. Everything else at the hotel was perfect untill this service and lack of communication and honesty about only having one high chair.

Just necessary overnight stay. All i want is, a great nights sleep, great food, clean hotel, with attentive friendly staff. A hotel i will use again if in the area. A winner on all accounts.

Was good

This was a last minute booking due to a change of plan with my wife having breaking her leg in the local area! Check in staff were excellent, no lift in the hotel though which was an issue with a broken leg and the check out staff were absent so we had to leave and pay later over the phone!

Walls are super thin - I could hear absolutely everything what's happening in the room next to me. Apart from that all great

Basic but clean. Staff very helpful and polite. Menu very limited. Not sure why they felt the need to vacuum the stairs at 3:50am, other than that a very pleasant stay.

Really good hotel, walkable into Elgin and great value.

Gym was good and my room was nice. Breakfast was terrible. Waitress did not know difference between smoked salmon and haddock. Food was very disappointing.

lovely hotel, staff could not have been more helpful. not sure about our room being a suite like we paid for but all in all a great stay. we'll probably go there again.

Reception lady very professional and cherpy young lady... And now knows how to pour a guineas lol.

Hotel was ok the corridor could do with redecorating and the room was a little cramped but ok Have definitely stayed in worse hotels in the area

Amazing hotel nice rooms friendly staff nice food but too long t wait for it. Pool and spa not open and was supposed to be so went to town gym and pool that was only disappointment.

Athough right next to the busy A96, we were'nt disturbed Loved the rabbits hopping about outside

Was ok good location just off main road and bar area nice but no food available after 8-30pm rooms were ok but bathroom was tired and tiny

Staff were very polite and nice but it was disappointing that the pool and spa were not open which was why I booked this hotel. Also breakfast was an extra and it seemed that there was little option left when I went down, almost as if everyone was expected to eat at 7am and leave but some are on holiday.

Lovely small personal hotel , room 2 was compact but everything i needed , shower was a big cold , but all ok Wound stay again.

Service needs to be a bit better with going to hospitality course.

Hotels.com listed a room that didn't exist (Triple with 3 double beds) - hotel did its best to accommodate us but party had to split over 2 rooms. One of the party was provided non Gluten Free pancakes in the morning, no cross-contamination controls. No ownership of the booking issue from hotel itself or hotels.com. Friendly staff let down by poor management and a dated environment.

Hotel needs a complete overhaul and having no water from five o'clock until half ten at night and no apology was very disappointing 😢

The check in although pleasant did take a bit of time and the attention of the receptionist required to initiate this. I can only assume due to the pandemic staff may be running to a minimum. My initial opinion of the hotel wasnt great. The carpet leading to the room required a hoover. The corridor smelt of lard perhaps the kitchen underneath, it hut us both straight away. The room itself although well equipped was severely in need to updating, the bathroom particularly. Woodwork very chipped. The television was tiny and numerous channels were unobtainable. Similar situation with breakfast, I again had to approach the staff prior to entering the dining room, who were in conversing to one another at reception. Even with restrictions in place and slightly different for usual breakfasts it was cooked to a good standard. I had used my 10 night voucher ( which I now regret) to stay at this hotel, if I had been paying the full cost I would not have been so tolerant. Would I stay here again...no.
