WiFi was not working for a full day. As a result I was unable to fulfil my duties which resulted in a loss of income. Hotel did not compensate or refund the first day. WiFi was fixed the next day. Pool is open from 10-6pm. Not sure why but I think it’s because the hotel maintenance person sleeps on the top where the pool is.

Charming gem, good breakfast, easy parking, close to ferry.

Very good experience for a 3 star hotel, it felt more like a 4 star. The best part of the stay was the location for a quiet experience of lake como, amazing views and very convenient with the bus stop and ferry pier right outside the hotel.
Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Bar was always busy and had a good vibe in the evenings, music entertainment some nights too.
Mainly older (60 ) guests and mainly British.
No pool towels and not allowed to use the room white towels, bring your own or you can buy some thin quick drying towels from reception for 10€ if you want.
Pool is very clean and well maintained, no rush for the sunbeds in the morning but do fill up by 10am-11am on a good sunny day.
The fine dining restaurant was great, recommend this as a treat.
Bring a 3 pin travel adapter, some rooms only have accessible plugs in the bathroom with a usb port next to the bed or some rooms had a normal plug socket next to the bed. Reception also sell travel adapters for 10€ if you don't have the correct one. Italy have 3 different types of plugs you can use.
Would definitely come back and recommend to friends.

Bartenders were good

Loved this place! If you book a room with a lake view, the view is unbelievable and the price is far less than anywhere else on the lake with that kind of view. Super convenient to the ferry and just a few minutes drive to Menaggio. There is public parking that is free at night across the street but it fills up quickly so that can be an issue if you arrive late. Loved the room and great area

No umbrellas provided
When I allied for a tissue she said they didn’t have any
No coffee in room
No tissue box in bathroom
Very poor set up in room
Not worth the money spent to stay on the lake
There was a festival there night we arrived no communication advising us we got told we had to look into that
From landing in Como at 7pm
We got to our room at 1:30am What a joke
Paid an arm and a leg for a taxi
By the way no Ubers available

Great location!!! Right in front of Lake Como. Amazing views and very convenient as there's a bus stop and a boat stop within 20 meters of the lobby.
We noticed the hotel bar was always full of people singing and having a good time, although patrons here are mostly over 60 years old, they all seem to have a great attitude!
Dinner served at the hotel restaurant on our first night was a giant disappointment. It was so horrendous that we decided to skip all meals here, even though we had paid extra to have breakfast included.
Plus, dinner was super expensive! Over 30 euros each for the worst meal we have ever had.
I do recommend it. Room was nice and terrace is lovely.
Just have dinner somewhere else and you'll be fine.

Extremely noisy. Woke up several times throughout the night to road traffic. One evening was very bad with construction noise (jackhammers, etc). Concierge was less than helpful.
3.5
Chose this hotel for the location- directly opposite the ferry stop so convenient for travelling anywhere on the lake. Had a room with a lake view which was amazing! Room very clean.
3.5
Next to ferry terminal. Our room had a view of lake.
3.5
Staff, location and breakfast was great
3.5
AC was very low and had a hard time freshening up. Lake view was great, ferries we’re right across and walk worthy to the other ferry.
3.5
Incredibly rude staff and the hotel in general is worn out. The pool area is Messy and dirty. Looks like the hotel and staff could all use a proper Update.
3.5
No parking (big inconvenience)
Too much noise, bedrooms are not isolated
Swimming pool does not correspond to the photos (small)
The floor in bedroom was durty
Double room too small
The price is too high for the service offered
Friendly staff and the lake is next to the hotel

Breakfast and room with an amazing view

Outstanding location
3.5
Great location on the lake, just across the street from the Ferry terminal. We had an amazing room overlooking Lake Como.
3.5
Room was a bit dusty. Probably because the air conditioning filter needed changing.
The view was incredible from the 7th floor. Breakfast buffet was great and worth it. The staff at the buffet was very nice

I booked and paid for the price of the room with view, balcony but they gave me a room has the view only with windows and in the corner. I booked it before checkin day few months, i coulnt remember until in the morning of the day checked out, I checked back my booking and realized they gave me wrong room. They said sorry, and told me why I didnt check the room before taking it. It is look like my fault.
Make sure you have to remember what type of room you book, otherwise, giving wrong room isnt their mistake

Pleasant 3 star horel, right on the lakeside overlooking Bellagio. Typically Italian and very basic. Walls in room are paper thin and basic but beds are comfortable. Aimed at Saga coach parties. Better taking a short walk to another restaurant. A stroll to Italy's finest 5 star Grand hotel. The botanic gardens at Villa Carlotta were amazing. If you have a car the ferry over to Bellagio is only 15 euro. Parking everywhere is very limited.

Excellent location

Property was excellent and a great location.
My room surfaces (floor and cupboard surfaces) smelt a little muggy (wiped with an old cloth) but otherwise no complaints.
3.5
Perfect hotel to stay in when going to Bellagio. Just a boat ride across the lake from Bellagio. I will stay there on my next trip to Lake Como. Only downside, no parking at the hotel.
3.5
Wonderful view of the Lake.
3.5
It was very noisy, the rooms walls are very thin , there was no parking closeby
3.5
Uncomfortable beds and uncomfortable stay. 2 star hotel charging 4 star prices. Do NOT eat at the hotel— walk 1 minute
to Red & White restaurant. Amazing and delicious meals. We ate there 3 times and it was incredible each time.

Location very good

Was very pleased with Venue based on expectations and experience!

On arrival the hotel was fully booked and I was given a substandard room: noisy, no proper lake view, bad air conditioning. But for the second day, we moved to a new room, which was perfect on all accounts. By the way, this are of Italy is marvelous and this hotel is perfect to enjoy it,
3.5
Wonderfully placed just near the ferry .
Lovely restaurants and wine bars nearby
Our triple room very clean with a balcony and air conditioning which was wonderful when it was so hot .
3.5
There were crawling creatures in the room. Millipedes? The room needed a good cleaning and the ceiling fan looked like it was going to fall from the ceiling. Not sure how the other rooms are, but this one needed an update and cleaning. Even the toilet seat was off kilter. It moved whenever I sat down and I am between 135 and 140 pounds. The front desk staff said it was a lovely room. I am wondering if she had seen it lately. The plus was the view. But I would rather have a clean room.
3.5
Perfect location to explore lake como. Room was clean and comfortable with a view of the lake. Added bonus of breakfast which we did not think was included - standard buffet continental style but still good! Pool and dip pool is a great bonus for when it’s hot! A few good restaurants and gelato down the road. Not too luxury but good value for money and absolutely nothing wrong with it - don’t believe bad reviews!
3.5
Below expectations in general. The view from the hotel is nice but the rest give a quite poor impression. Breakfast standard, general areas of hotel, room cosines unfortunately below expectations. Location quite good though.
3.5
Hotel was mediocre, but the real fun part was the club music that plays right outside. Left early.
3.5
Air con was very poor as it did not work properly. Amazing views. Good location as just opposite the ferry to hop across to other parts of the lake. Not much to do though in tremezzo apart from go to the villa which isnt all that.

This is a nice property. Very close to Villa Carlotta and ferries. We had a triple room with a balcony. The balcony was nice and the full service restaurant was very good despite a limited menu. The staff at the restaurant were great. In the room, the bidet didn't work and they were not able to fix it on our stay. Minor inconvenience. I don't recommend the full meal plan. We had the included breakfast once on our stay. For 15 Euro they could have done much better with pastry and bread choices. The omelet cook was very cheerful and funny and made a great omelet. I think the meal plan option was designed for large groups coming through. You don't want to eat in this environment with inconsiderate coughing people the buffet. Parking if you need it is a free public lot about a 8 minute walk. Overall recommend.
3.5
There was a mistake with my bill , in such a case you would expect an understanding , but they didn’t care , and was very aggressive in the reception
3.5
Quality, great location, staff very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend 😁

Very bad experience, the air conditioner didn’t work, we tried to contact the starff and never answered the phone. There was a sound the whole nigth, like a water running through a pipe that didnt let me sleep. When we madr the comments al the lobby they act loke they didnt care about our comolains.
