The hotel was great, we had a beautiful terrace, the room was very clean and specious. The hotel was quite empty being out of season so not everything was open but that didn’t bother us. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only let down was the beach outside the hotel which was messy and not very inviting, it’s a shame having such a great beach front location and not being able to fully utilise it

What is it with the pool towels in Spain?? They won't let you get a towel unless you leave a 10 Euro deposit in cash, and then when you try and return the towels there's not a soul to be found that will verify you brought it back!! 5 star?? They treat you like you're going to be thrives. Not impressed, except with the young valet guy. He was great.

Everything was good, our room and the poolarea was great. BUT in the restaurant, the tapasbar and the poolbar there was terrible music playing to loud. When you eat you want to talk and enjoy, not just want to leave.

We had an executive sea view room 131 with a very large and gorgeous terrace. A double outdoor bed, two sun loungers and a table and two chairs with still more than enough room to swing a multitude of cats if so desired. The room was fabulous the bed was so large it was easier to communicate on the phone! Buffet breakfast had so much choice and beautifully cooked and served. The beach was just about 30 seconds from the hotel grounds which had two amazing pools and a spa too if you didnt eant the strain of that 30 second walk. So would i recommend this hotel..... without a second thought and i know you will love every second of your stay

This place is fantastic. I was driring btw Malaga and Alincate and someone told me to stop for lunch at Bouno Restaurant in Almeria, which I did...and then decided to stay over. A staff member told me about this place, I pulled it up on Expedia and had an excellent overnight. It is brand new, gorgeous, very clean. The staff were great. Get the breakfast via Expedia, the buffet is outstanding. The pool area is gorgeous and I had a huge sea view terrace. I would vaca here for a few days next time.

El hotel está bien. La gente muy amable. La ubicación y jardines fantásticas. La habitación, grande y luminosa. Las instalaciones muy buenas, nuevas y limpias. Lo único que no es un hotel de cinco estrellas. El spa medio cerrado, las piscinas cerradas, el restaurante solo tenía un menú y el bufet de desayuno muy normalito. Hemos pedido desayuno sin gluten para una person celiaca y había muy pocas opciones. El problema fundamental es de expectativas - si lo anunciarán con cuatro estrellas, estaría bien y todos conformes. The hotel is very nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location and grounds are beautiful. The room was big and bright. The facilities are nice, new and clean. The only problem is that this is not a five star hotel. Half of the spa facilities were closed, the pool area was closed, the restaurant only had one “menu de cena” option and the breakfast bufet was very average. We requested gluten free breakfast for a celiac person and there were very few options. The main problem is one of expectations - if it were advertised as four stars, it would be fine and everyone would be happy.

Best hotel of our holiday, true 4* hotel, the hotel is modern, extremely spacious which includes the rooms. both pools are brilliant and clean and there were plenty of beds around the pool. We only had breakfast 1 day and it was ok. Only really problem is the day/evening entertainment as it's catered for the Spanish only.

Nice hotel, close to the beach but 4 star rating questionable . Here's a list of issues: Pool loungers very uncomfortable and not clean (eg. Bird faeces) , also very tightly arranged so no room to manouvre Indoor pool very cold Spa treatments not value for money and receptionist told me I couldn't book 1 hour massage for back, neck and shoulders, only 20 mins TV very old and outdated, poor choice of channels, most don't work Minibar is switched off on arrival and took at least 3 days to get cold on full setting Bed sheets were changed once during a one week stay and only because I made a strong request, leaving the sign outside my door made no difference Shower pressure very low and temperature not consistent Bath plug was broken away from chain, thin, metal ring was looped into plug but opened when pulling plug out of bath, sharp metal edge exposed Towels very frayed Glasses in room were never replaced with clean ones for a whole week WIFI very unreliable, kept disconnecting I've seen the same issues mentioned in other reviews, it seems the hotel promised an overhaul and update, but that was in 2014! Shame, this used to be a wonderful hotel which felt 5 star but now it's run down and neglected .

We arrived at 1am after a long trip 6 hours driving and unlucky we had to wait over 10 minutes before veing attended. Also when we finally were attended I have been asked whether I wanted to pay cash or by card, although it was already paid through Expedia.Only one card was provided for the room and as I asked for a second one (since one is needed in the room for electricity) they said that they are running short of cards.The mattress is really bad quality , it is like laying directly on springs and last hut not least there is no plug next to the bed.So disappointing for a 4 stars hotel

All the staff we came in contact with were polite, friendly and helpful, as you would expect not all spoke English but smiles and gestures go a long way when communication is difficult and we always got there in the end!The entire hotel is spotlessly clean, as were the towels and bed linen.Rooms are bright, airy and spacious and were serviced every day. Aircon is a bonus.Bar service was always good but drinks service at mealtimes was a bit hit and miss.In relation to food there was always something to please all of our party (5 adults and 3 young children) but there was no early provision for childrens meals - dinner is served from 8pm. There are snacks available from the pool bar in the late afternoon but they were not a substitute for a meal.The childrens entertainment in the evenings was too late for our youngsters (all 5 and under) unfortunately but there were several daytime activities for the children who wished to join in.Theres not much provision for children at the hotel in relation to playparks and fun pool but the main pool was safe for them to use.Would we go again? Id perhaps look for somewhere with better provision for the children if Im being really honest - but then again the children had a great time anyway!A helpful vote would be appreciated if you like this review :)
