Had an amazing stay as a couple at Tivoli resort for a two day break en route to a wedding in Praia de forte. The room was incredibly comfortable, good AC and we had a convenient location to the beach, pools and restaurants. The internet was the only thing that was not good - even in our room - it was a little hard to be connected. the service was great across the board. Worth noting that the main food location was a buffet - but was delicious, particularly breakfast. We only ate dinner one night.

The staff was amazing and sincerely nice. The property is noticeably old in construction. A portion of the flooring is slippery when wet because it is tile flooring. Other areas have a more of a stone/clay like non-slip flooring.
I was a solo traveler and it is about a 15min. walk up to the local town with more affordable shopping and better restaurants than the ones provided by this resort. In addition, it's great being immersed within the vibe of the local community.
It was a big disappointment when I was told I had to wear a shirt with sleeves to dinner at the resort, as I had no idea there was a "dress code" and considering how much money you will pay per night to stay here, I should be able to eat at a beach resort, with a tank top on. Needless to stay during my 3-nights here, I only ate dinner once on site and it really wasn't excellent and it doesn't start until 7pm.
There are security cameras everywhere, which was a bit creepy. In addition, they have security guards in the beach area too.
I can't recommend this resort to any solo travelers. You will have a more enjoyable, affordable and comfortable stay at a pousada in the village. If you have a family and kids, which is what I saw more of and older couples (60yrs. ) then you'll probably enjoy this place.

One of the best beach resorts of Brazil. Very nice location, excellent food and good hotel structure. Staff is very friendly. Excellent choice.

The resort is nice, great swimming pools and nice staff.
It was winter time, the hotel was empty (around 30% of occupation). It was strongly raining on our last day. With a night flight, the reception had a completely lack of customer orientation. We stayed more than 4 hours on the wet and cold reception, without any drink offering. It was really disappointing for such a hotel.

Great resort overall. Beautiful views, big rooms, amazing landscaping. Staff always helpful and friendly. Lots of activities to choose from. My wife and I had a wonderful time and we’ll come back next year.

Beautiful beach and great hotel facilities. However, staff quality is under the level of other hotels of same price.

The resort is amazing for a family vacation - it's a huge resort with plenty of green and ocean view.
The beach service is excellent and you can lay on the sun beds for hours looking at stunning view of the Atlantic ocean and coconut palms.
The pools are lovely and suitable for kids and adults.
There are great activities for kids and adults all day long.
The food is delicious (breakfast and dinner) with a various dishes and local flavors.

My husband and I stayed at Tivoli, along with two of our friends. We were given adjoining rooms which was great. We used the hotel transportation to and from the airport and had no issues. We were offered drinks upon arrival, and the front desk staff was faster and more responsive than many other hotels in Brazil I've stayed. The groundskeepers do a fantastic job as the greenery, flowers and trees were beautiful. We only used the adult pool, so I can't rate the others, but it was well kept and overlooks the water for a beautiful, relaxing view. We also got to see multiple HUGE iguanas up close since they hang out next to that pool. The restaurant next to the adult pool had amazing food as well. We each had something different (lamb, steak, sea bass, seafood linguine) and all the dishes were excellent. The other restaurant, Goa, is where breakfast and dinner is served buffet style. It has a good variety and we enjoyed trying some Brazilian dishes. My only complaint (which is not the staff's fault) is that cats, birds and monkeys all invade the dining area. They're cute, but I don't exactly enjoy them on my table when I'm eating, which they do because other guests continue to feed them, even though there is a sign posted asking people to NOT feed the wildlife. Make sure to bring bug spray as we got eaten up by mosquitoes and what we think were sand fleas on the beach. Overall, our stay was wonderful and relaxing. We would definitely go again.

Wonderful experience that I would do again and recommend to family and friends.
The atmosphere was great.

Lovely hotel with spacious rooms and excellent balcony complete with hammock. Adults only pool was of an excellent size. Food buffet was very good with beer and soft drinks included in the half board option. Wine was additional. The hotel is situated on a very nice bit of beach which is good for swimming. Would definitely recommend a walk along the beach to the central part of Praia do Forte to see the shops and restaurants there.
Although it's billed as an "eco" resort they did change our towels twice a day which was very nice if not a little excessive and not particularly eco friendly.

We love staying here, it's a little bit like Hawaii. The facilities are perfect for a couple's getaway or for a family.

Nice beach facilities, lots of activities, partial board (breakfast and dinner) had ample and varied choices. Live guitarist/singer at dinner every night, dance band every night as well. We went in January (summer) when it was sunny and mid 80 degrees every day.

a good place to stay. the dinner was included, and it was great buffet.

Loved everything, from the champagne offered when checking in to the late check-out made possible by the very friendly staff at the reception desk. The place is simply beautiful and even when it's fully packed with tourists it's still possible to find a very peaceful place to enjoy on your own and relax, as it is a huge property.
Dinner is absolutely fantastic with the best local tastes and some international cuisine as well. Wine menu has a large variety of offers to suit all pockets. And the very talented lady playing guitar and singing during dinner at the GOA restaurant is an invaluable complement to the whole gastronomic experience.
Can't wait to come back to this place.

very nice hotel. Great beach. However if you plan a romantic vacation this is not your place, as it hosts many families with kids. Dont try the spa.

This property is completely priced out of the market. For the price you pay you get an absolute average property with below average food all you can eat style. In the same area you can find countless pouasadas that offer the absolute same comfort for a fraction of the price at the Tivoli
