Lovely hotel in good repair. Very clean. Friendly helpful staff, great food. Recommended.
If you're driving, it's not obvious where the entrance is.
4.5
Friendly staff, pristine facilities and lovely food.

We had a room which was hot and noisy from what we assumed was the air conditioning. It was very annoying.
The room was for a disabled guest and we were not disabled. The wet room was poor as everything was wet by the end of the shower including the carpet outside.

I did not like the area that this hotel was located in - felt somewhat unsafe at this location. One of the pics provided by Expedia/ hotel is seemingly a ‘filtered’ pic which does not represent the ‘tired’ and ‘run down’ condition of the overall property. Another pic provided is one of Dublin; this hotel is actually located in excess of 29 kms outside Dublin .

One nigh stay here. Friendly staff. Room was clean and wifi was ok. Didnt use the restaurant for dinnervas ibhad other plans. Breakfast was nice. Took a couple of attempts to find it as google maps was a bit confused. Parking was secure and free.
4.5
Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, good quality breakfast.
The parking is fine, but if you've never stayed there before, the hint is to drive through the public car park to get into the secure private hotel car park.
A nice short river walk right outside the hotel with an interesting folly. Good restaurants and takeaways within walkign distance.
4.5
Staff friendly and room was large but didn’t realise music played until 1pm on a weekend so not a great nights sleep.
A bottle of water in the room would have been handy.

Really nice staff. Food and drink was amazing. Room a bit tired though

Great hotel, except they forgot to book a taxi for a early morning excursion which almost caused. Us to miss our tour . Other than that it was a great stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the Courtyard! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful which really made our stay a great experience. The hair dryer in our room was broken and I had thought we were supposed to have a tea/coffee maker but those were really minor things.
The hotel is in an adorable area and the restaurant and bar had yummy food and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing from start to finish. Surroundings a little jem hidden away. Could not believe we were in a town. Felt like we were in a secluded part of the country. The courtyard literally was a courtyard. The facilities were perfect. Our room could not have been better. The best part of our stay was the staff. They could not have been more accommodating or friendly. Nothing was a bother. There was always a welcoming smile. The manager Colin was amazing. We arrived at the bar for food at 5:45 and our taxi was collecting us at 6:30. We thought we didn't have time for food. He went out of his way to get us food ASAP on time for us to have it before our taxi arrived. I really annoy rate this hotel higher. It was amazing i

Super friendly reception, comfy beds, good food, lovely walking trail nearby, free parking. Overall great stay

Very good option within 1/2 hr from Dublin airport. Quiet room with balcony overlooking river. Large suites. In the old Guinness factory - lots of history. Traditional furnisings.

Loved the courtyard for watching evening sports while having a drink.

Parking was super easy, hotel was great, staff didn’t know the answers to basic questions - things like where do you recommend eating in town and where can we catch the bus. Considering how tiny by his village is we thought that was odd. Bar staff was great. Oh and we were there for 2 nights and our room wasn’t cleaned. We saw the cleaning staff the morning of day 2 in our hallway. They just missed our room for whatever reason. Overall it’s a fine place to stay….for a night. More than that you’ll get bored in the small village.
4.5
Good location. Lovely courtyard. Comfortable rooms. Food / breakfast average.

We stayed one night. Our room was very comfortable and clean and we both slept well. Our view was of a wall but we didn’t mind as it meant it was very quiet overnight. The bathroom left a lot to be desired and is in desperate need of an upgrade. A really good clean until this is done would help meanwhile. We ate in the bar as the restaurant was closed. The food was fine and the service quick but a bar is a bar. All the staff we met were very pleasant and helpful.

Very clean and quiet.

The facility was good, my only concern was that the ADA room shower doesn’t have a barrier to avoid the water to leak out to the door, the water ends up flooding the foyer.
4.5
Tucked away by the river yet 2 mins from onward travel.

Ireland vacation. Leixlip nice convenient stop pretty town and friendly people.

The property has historic appeal, great customer service and the heated towel rack in the bathroom was a nice touch. The dining optioms on-site were all wonderful. Great pub amd disco!

Great stay! The heat was up too much but we managed!

Check in at 4pm and absolutely no flexibility at reception, in fact the woman was almost rude in her response, basically room is available at 4pm and not before. I do get they need time to turn around rooms, but not everyone checks out at noon, so there must be at least a possibility of getting a room sooner, they said they'd call if it became available, they didn't, however we managed to get a room when we returned at 1540, but even then I noticed the clock watching. Room 109 shower control would not change temperature and was too hot, hairdryer worked intermittently. TV channels - fuzzy and not visible on some channels, like rte1. Bed was comfortable, about the only positive of note.
If you let your guests into hotel as soon as you possible can, they start spending in the hotel at earliest opportunity. If you alienate guests and of course, sometimes early check in is just not possible, then they are less likely to spend on site.

Lovely hotel, lovely area, lovely breakfast, lovely steak in the restaurant, staff really nice, the only down side was the bathroom in the room, it is quite dated with a few cracked tiles and black silicone around bath. Still a really nice place to stay though.

Original Guinness Location. Close to everything.
4.5
Not good service in the hotel restaurants. Catered more towards locals. Area felt unsafe. Had security guards at the entrance to the hotel’s courtyard.

Nice room, clean, fresh and nice bed!
Sadly the restaurant did not impress, only guests even then we didn’t get service! Menu and food not up to standard and and very poor wine list…

I haven't used the Court Yard for more than 10 years due to a change in my working area, however I was asked to visit a old customer and therefore booked the same hotel as I used to use, with a higher than average room price, I was expecting it to be as fresh as it once was.
Sadly the bathroom was dated and in general it was very average.
Nothing wrong but I was disappointed (especially at the higher than average for the area price).

Lovely little hotel with beautiful grounds. The staff in the bar were excellent, and the service was top notch. Got the burger and have to say that me and my partner loved. Really nice atmosphere with all the sport on different Tv's . Would definitely go back.
