Big swimming pools; opening windows in room; friendly and helpful staff; shade around pool; comfortable large room

The place is dirty, very old and run down. The A/C in the room did NOT work. Colima is a hot humid tropical state so you can imagine that it was a horrible night. They have extremely old furniture, very uncomfortable pillows and mattresses. Extremely noisy. Just a very old creepy feeling hotel due to lack of maintenance and remodeling. They charge expensive for a very poor quality hotel.

Pools and activities offered are fantastic! they also provided us with a free pass to their adjoining gym. Their equipment and facilities are the best.

The property is old, we have problems with the Internet and you cannot make local calls from your room, you have to go to the Front Office to be able to make a call even if it is a local call. The restaurant is in terrible condition, we only ordered lunch once and it took more than two hours to deliver it.

Great hotel and very convenient

I loved everything about this beautiful hotel. The staff and everyone were so nice. The rooms were clean and the whole property was well kept. I felt safe and well taken care of during my stay.

When we arrived at 7 pm it is as we had not made any Booking..took them 30 min to give us the worst possible room at the very end of the parking lot (as we requested downstair my wife being slightly handicapped) This section looking abandoned, there was no lights in the lobby leading to the room, we had only one access electronic card.. so no cooling of room when we returned after " dinner" Bathroom terrible, no shower head support at normal height..only one small lavabo no place to guard toiletries etc.. Toilet was exceptionally low No handy extension to charge telephone , the only we found at floor level, going extinct when lights off..we woke up with empty batteries on our phones No handicap access to the restaurant, etc... in addition we were overcharged for two rooms we paid total of MX 3360 equivalent to US203.63 (rate 16.50) instead of confirmed rate of $190.44 This hotel is definitively not worth that price !!!! especially since the reception was making the least possible effort....FYI i come to this hotel since the earlier 1970 and speak perfect Spanish, so it was not a question of miscommunication. Sincerely Guy Posschelle A refund seems apprpriate .

This was our first time to the hotel. The pool is amazing! The restaurant had a variety of options to choose from. Getting transportation to the city center was really easy. The staff was very helpful and friendly, we will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful historical looking place and big pool with great ambiance the food at the restaurant was delicious. Staff was more than helpful great service and very accommodating to our needs

The property is in a good conditions, quiet, and easy access to all around Colima. Several restaurants near of the hotel and kind service.

Positives: The hotel is old and showing signs of age, but it is clean and well kept up. The restaurant has good food and is reasonably priced. The location is in a great part of the city with many dining options nearby. Negatives: The room rate has increased by $750MX in one month. Management is now requiring all guests AND their visitors to wear an arm bracelet. When my friend came by to have a drink, they demanded his ID before they would let him in, called me on the room phone to let him in, and they insisted he wear a hospital type bracelet. They would not let me leave the property until they sent someone to inspect my room, and then they lied and said this is done to make sure I did not forget anything. The gate would not be opened for me to leave until they had their inspection. This is a charming old hotel, but their behavior made my stay unpleasant. It feels like a prison. It should be noted that other similar hotels in the same part of town do not treat their guests in this manner. I will not be back.

Clean place and fast service

We loved the pool. The hotel is beautiful, rooms are spacious. What we didn’t like is the smell in the bathroom, it smelled like old smelly pipes; we had to keep door closed. Other than that, we recommend this hotel and we would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay the only down side is the rooms sheets and towels were not clean and very outdated (old)

Piscina muy grande y para todos los niveles. Buenos horarios, hasta las 9... Todo muy bien. La comida excelente. Me gustó mas que el fiesta inn, y precios accesibles. Me quedó ahi, la próxima visita que haga a Colima.
