Gorgeous, expansive space with things to do and close proximity to activities in the Sacred Valley

We loved staying here at the end our journey through the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. It was a wonderful way to recover and rest after a strenuous trip. The food, staff, rooms and overall property are excellent. The one issue we had was with transportation to the hotel. It was complicated to find transportation to take all of us and our luggage. But once we were there we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

It was an amazing experience

This hotel was an amazing property, absolutely huge, massive rooms and fantastic set up and location. However lots of little things are off.
Overall this was a lovely hotel, a bit dilapidated and in need of works through, you can sadly see that the political situation and Covid have had a great hit on this property. There are general signs of wear and tear and neglect through the property. From the lights in the grand entrance hall being absolutely full of dead bugs, to guttering sagging and patch works of bad paint jobs all over the place.
4.6
Excellent family oriented resort with many amenities and a very professional, courteous, and excellent staff.
4.6
Excellent hotel for relax after 4 days inca trail.
All facilities, staff and services are great, as well as the breakfast and restaurant and bar menu options.
4.6
I would change mattresses, plus do something about the bugs.
4.6
The hotel is really nice, the property has a great outdoor setting and the views of the mountains are incredible. It is a place to relax and enjoy staying at the hotel or visiting the areas next to it. It is a great option for adults alone and with kids.

Aranwa looks like it has been a fantastic hotel, but it isn't anymore. The premises are fantastic, but not well maintained. Food was absolutely terrible, we almost couldn't eat it. Breakfast was also terrible. And this is quite shocking since all the other food we god in Peru has been amazing. The location in the Sacred Valley is nice but not a must. For going to Machu Picchu I would consider staying in Aguas Calientes instead. And the WiFi didn't work.

Incredible property in the middle of nowhere. Staff especially Doris and Monica were super helpful. Very tasty dinner. Very beautiful surroundings

They were very helpful about my covid test before flight

Such a wonderful location. Wonderful spa, great food, convenient and beautiful location to acclimate to the elevation of Peru. Very convenient to Sacred Valley sites. Highly recommend, especially for the price.

It’s the most beautiful place I had ever being.

As usual Aranwa Hotels never fail...Wonderful stay. beautiful setting and the energy was rejuvenating.
4.6
Incredible experience. Facilities are first rate and staff is personable and attentive. Best lodging in the Sacred Valley.

The staff was remarkable, the property breathtaking, and the spa services out of this world. This is an amazing property to relax and be pampered.

Gorgeous property with wonderful services. We each had a great massage, saw a movie, and had delicious food.

The property is a true retreat! It's nestled in the valley, surrounded by mountains and is the perfect place to relax. The staff is incredible - everyone is very attentive, very quick to respond and incredibly friendly and welcoming. The grounds are beautiful - everything looks and smells amazing! The Spa is great also - therapists really know what they're doing. This is a true 5-star property from beginning to end.

Staff were very helpful in every aspect. They arranged pick up, drop off, tours and anything else we asked. Property was very serene. Alpacas, peacock and parrots made it exotic.
4.6
Beautiful hotel.
Spa is very expensive Web you compare to other 5 star hotels.
4.6
Beautiful grounds and great service...wish we could have enjoyed the hotel longer!
4.6
This was one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. The grounds were stunning, the room gorgeous. A highlight was room service in front of the fireplace. We also had massages at the spa which were wonderful. We were well taken care of, the staff was fantastic.
4.6
Excellent hotel with helpful and friendly staff. The on site restaurant was very good and reasonably priced considering you have to eat there as local town is few km's away.
Huge hotel rooms!!

Such a nice oasis in the Sacred Valley! The whole hotel is beautiful and the staff are wonderful (especially Victor at the front desk). They arranged taxi rides for us to the train station for our adventure to Machu Picchu and to Cusco. The rooms are super comfortable, the menu of food is absolutely delicious and the grounds are gorgeous!

We spent 3 nights at this beautiful property, staff was fantastic and our stay was wonderful. Front desk arranged taxi to take us to nearby ruins and markets in various towns, and met us at airport as well as transporting us to the train for our visit to Machu Picchu. Highly recommend this property!

The real weakness is the dinners. Hotel is in the middle of nowhere so you eat at the hotel. Food is pricey and food is not great. Menu is quite large. Would be better if they simplified their menu- less dishes that all tasted good.
Grounds are beautiful. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Beautiful, isolated location but enough on premises to keep you happy

I have been in the Sacred Valley several times, and have experienced different hotels. Aranwa is a very different experience. It is worth the investment. After long days visiting the different ruins in the area, you need to pamper yourself. Rooms are outstanding, large jacuzzi, beautiful view, great food, and outstanding service. What else can you ask?

Nice hotel in Sacred Valley
4.6
beautiful hotel, beautiful staff.amazing food. we felt we were in paradise.
4.6
This is a wonderful hotel and it's perfect except for the fact that it's about a ten minute cab ride from the town area where most restaurants are. I still recommend staying here and just cabbing to dinner!
4.6
Aranwa is a great stay if you need an escape from tourist hubs or busy environments. It is located a little far from Urubamba, which can also be a minus if you want to see a lot of the Sacred Valley over limited time. The rooms are spacious and beautiful (but mine was also cold despite the heating turned to max), the decorations and facilities exquisite, and being surrounded by majestic paintings, living on a hacienda with an old church will feel like stepping back in time. It will make you forget you are a visitor in Peru. It's ideal if you are seeking a longer break, not so much for a quick stay due to long distances. Staff are very helpful.

We stayed here for our first night in the Sacred Valley. We wanted a place where we could acclimate to the high altitude and take it easy. This fit the bill perfectly. The staff is the most service oriented that I've ever experienced. The hotel property itself is beautiful. The first room that they checked us into actually ended up having a broken pipe and flooding. Thankfully none of our stuff got wet. Then they promptly took us around the hotel to find an upgraded room that was to our liking. The upgraded room was very nice and comfortable. The grounds are landscaped beautifully. There seem to be a lot of activities around the hotel but we didn't do much. The only thing that would've improved the experience would have been if the hotel was closer to town. It's about a 10 minute cab ride and I would've preferred something walking distance.

We had great difficulty finding the location based on information provided. We were suffering from altitude sickness, arrived late in the day, asked for a late check out and were treated as if we were asking too much... Found staff unfriendly. ... Based on our experience, would not recommend this for a one night stay...beautiful place but we froze in our room and it was very expensive for a one night stay

Pros: amazing place to stay, out of this world rooms and spa
Cons: 9am check out time

Spa is a world class facility with complete treatments and fantástic service .
