Stunning property stunning grounds great breakfast perfect location to stay right across the street from the beach and walking distance to all the little restaurants and city center perfect place to stay if you’re looking to do the beach excursions. Very beautiful hotel. I really enjoyed the serene views and having breakfast in the morning, staring out at the ocean underneath the pergola and grapevines, it’s very beautifully designed, my only wish was that the air conditioner worked a little better other than that I would definitely stay here again

Lots of charm. 10 minute walk to port. We would stay again

This is a very charming hotel right at the seaside with beautiful views. Each room is decorated in Italian style - very charming. The gardens on the property are beautiful creating a charming atmosphere. The breakfast was fantastic! The breakfast eating patio looks out to the sea and the they served omelets made to order, fresh breads, jam and other sweets along with great coffee. I wanted to stay more nights!

Great size rooms and very clean! Great location with amazing views.

Cozy little hotel. Fantastic service and lovely staff. The location is great right out to the beach. And the restaurant is great. Also, the hotel has two small ponds with turtles, nice little surprise! Overall had a great stay there.
Only negative things to say is the beds is not the best and there is very limited WI-FI and phone reception in room.

Nicely located hotel in front of the sea. it's a bit old but still very enjoyable. the restaurant is nice as well. disappointed on the fact that it says it has a swimming pool while there is none. Public parking is available next ot the hotel for 6€ per day.

A lovely venue, well situated across the road from the sea. All staff from cleaner to Reception manager were friendly and helpful at all times. The rooms were suitably decorated, good size and included all appropriate accessories.
As it is reaching the end of the season it also starting to show signs of needing a holiday.

The rooms are dark and a little bit depressing, but the breakfast was good and the staff friendly. We appreciated the close parking and the parasols and sun chairs at the beach. It was ok.

I booked this hotel with the expensive price tag on the basis it’s 4 star and I also booked the best best room they had.
This hotel is max a 2.5 stars especially with the unhappy owners makd our stay one of the worst experience. Especially they have the nerve to charge so much... to me it’s a blatant scam and there’s nothing you can do.
Was I in a big surprise when I checked in...
- First the owners when we checked in including throughout our stay are not very friendly and for some odd reason don’t like smiling very much.?
- We had heavy bags as we are traveling Europe, so to get to our room to after check in was very hard especially in the heat. There are plenty of stairs no lifts.
- The rooms are very outdated... very outed... like it probably looked good in the 80’s.
- The aircon doesn’t work properly - basically one setting (very low setting) operating manually.
- Shower pressure during peak times is not even present... at time I was left waiting for to shower for an hour (felt like I was at camp again. When I mentioned this to the owner they said there was maintenance... yeah right every night at the same time?. Just a cover up for age of the hotel.
- The beds two single beds stuck together and very firm.
On a side not i had accidentally booked 5 nights instead of 4 and I called them and they agreed they will only charge me 4. On check out they pretend they didn’t know what I was talking about and had to pay the extra night.

Wonderful hotel on the sea front. The room was lovely and very comfortable. We had evening meals at the hotel twice and the food was very good. Breakfast was also good.

This hotel is very well located close to Cala Gonone, where the most beatiful beaches are.
Hotel staff very friendly, we got all the information we needed.
The rooms, if you take a room with seaview then the rooms are quite large and bright.
Unfortunately the rooms without view are very dark, it seems to be in a cave and you can't really open the windows because everybody passing by will see inside.

A grossly overpriced hotel with tiny rooms and barely functioning air conditioning. Their 'double' beds are 2 singles pushed together that kept separating! A terrible experience given the amount of money we paid. There are much better hotels for less money in equally good locations, we discovered - too late for us however given we had booked and paid for this in advance.

This was our first night in Sardinia as we started our journey up the East coast. It could not have been more perfect. The owner was present the entire time. You could walk to everything and we were able to book a tour on their boat to visits the beautiful beaches of Cala Gonone.
Highly recommend!

We felt like GUESTS because we have a HOST! :) The best place to stay! Anything you want, your Host organizes you! The best food ever in Sardinia!!

This hotel, on virtually its own ( no, not Private) beach in a charming resort town, has been carefully landscaped so that it seems embedded in a garden of flowers and grapevines. It is designed so that it always feels small and intimate. Our room was large, unique, with an excellent bed, and it was spotlessly clean and very quiet. The breakfast was outstanding, way beyond the usual good hotel breakfast, with the dining room overlooking the beach. We did not eat dinner here but the restaurant had an interesting, affordable menu and was obviously popular. The staff was exceptionally attentive. We can highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, for example moving our son to a room nearer ours when requested. The hotel has a good atmosphere.

A great little hotel. Friendly and distinctive. We had a Junior suite overlooking the sea which was spacious and comfortable. The Cala Gonone area was perfect for us at the end of the summer season (early October) still quite lively but not overly busy, fantastic landscape of coast, cliffs and mountains. The only downside would have been the early morning preparation of the breakfast tables on the terrace below the room. I expect that our room would be the only one affected by the noise of chairs being moved.

Second visit to Hotel Costa Dorada! Took the cruise along the gulf on the hotel's Marlin boat excursion.
Alessio and his team are fantastic and provide a fantastic experience staying at the hotel.

Great location and everything within reach but hotel very disappointing , toilet and bathroom very small, and beds uncomfortable , breakfast was limited but if if you want a pretty town and waking up to beautiful sight of the beach and sea then this is the place. The owner was very accommodating and friendly.

We were warmly welcomed by the staff. Facilities good but would have preferred a larger shower.
